Missing links in HR 2015

I just upgraded to the HR 2015, and about half of my links do not work. I tried to reimport the document, but that solves nothing.

Sorry, we could not share our exclusive documents. The answer is to fix the links in HR. Not sure what the word is, but something is lost in the import process.

  • Favorites bar photostream missing links to explore

    Nice day! I accidentally deleted icloud / photostream links in the "Favorites" in the Explorer section - and there is no way to recover them. I tried everything, even complete wipe iTunes and all the remaining registry entries, but no luck. I often use these links (well, have used - now, I don't have them) and it would be nice if someone could help me in my quest. Thank you!

    Good afternoon, zhker -.

    I understand that you are missing links to iCloud and photo stream on your computer Windows 10.   If you have not already done so, try to download iCloud for Windows to see if that solves the problem.

    Have a great day!

  • My iTunes a huge wish list of missing today 02/12/2015

    My iTunes a huge wish list of missing today 02/12/2015 (was there yesterday) since both my iMac (27-inch mid-2011, OS X 10.10.5, iTunes 12.3.1) and my iOS devices (iOS 9.1 in the iPhone 6 + and iPad Air). ITunes all wish lists are now empty. Includes music, movies, TV shows, Apps and books.

    So far I tried the points listed below with no luck.

    (1) restart my Mac

    (2) connecting then back and on iTunes

    Is a copy of the list of wishes stored locally or in the cloud? Someone has any idea how to get it back?

    Thank you!

    Just noticed that this happened to me, too.

  • How to find info for Missing Linked Smart Object

    I received a file from another vendor, and they have a layer of dynamic object bound within the photoshop file that is missing.

    Is it possible to determine the layer file name/path/owner? In Illustrator and InDesign, it's possible, but I see no way to determine any info on the link. I need to communicate to the seller, what lack us.

    Hello

    You do not get the missing link dialog box?

    Another place to look is in the properties panel with the targeted layer.

  • Library CC items disappear during the PDF conversion + missing links

    I created an InDesign document, and I transferred artworks, which is available on my local PC in a CC library dedicated to the project that I have 2 or 3 different sizes posters designed for the same project.

    Everything seems fine, until I have try to re - open documents where it is suddenly said that:

    "This document contains 14 links to sources that are missing.  You can find or reedit the missing links using the links Panel. »

    So, I 'OK' cela and shows me my paper and lo-and-behold, the missing link in sources are all displayed AND are all in my CC library for the project.

  • Remove the missing link of file-word (text) link

    I'm working on a former Indesign file that has the Word documents that are related to it. The links are missing, but the text takes the form of editable text so it has not lost.

    Can I copy and paste into a new text frame to solve the problem of the missing link.
    But it's a lot of work for a whole book. It would be perfect if I could break the link the Word of my frames of text file, but this option does not appear.

    I found 2-7 years old questions on the Adobe forums no useful response.

    Can someone help me with this?

    Thank you!

    "Ungroup" should be available in the context menu, if you click on the link in the links Panel.

  • CS6: reports of the missing links, but when I check the links all is good

    Whenever I open this certain InDesign file, it says links are missing. But then I go to control panel links and utilities > search for missing links. No problem found. But then, when I go to package the file, I get the message of missing links again. Help please.

    Maybe something like a linked image in a .ai file related.

    Check upstream instead.

  • List of paths of missing link

    Bit hard to explain, but my goal is to make a script to essentially check the current open document for missing links and then retrieve the (former) paths for any list found there (so part of this path can be copy & pasted by the user into a tool of recovery of the Archives of works of ancient art)

    Perhaps you could paste in a list in a box on the editing table, or individual boxes of yellow next to each missing link, but I don't know how can I retrieve the path to use anywhere, it would be even possible?

    That's how i've got.

    If (link.status is LinkStatus.LINK_MISSING)

    If (link.status == LinkStatus.LINK_MISSING) {}

    Alert (link.filePath);

    }

  • My indesign won't open 3 missing links

    I was open a file that was created before and there were a few missing links, about 16. I tried to recreate a link to them and it worked without any problems, except for the 3 files.

    When I try to recreate a link to these files (they are jpg and 1 pdf file) Indesign gives me the following error:

    Either the file does not exist, you may not, or the file may be in use by another application.

    I checked and it is not open somewhere else, the file exist and I checked the permission which seemed correct settings...

    Also tried to re-record the files under a different name, placed on my desk, made a copy. nothing has worked.

    If someone know a solution I would be very grateful!

    You can open images in an external editor?

    If they are jpeg or png or gif - save as tiff

    If they are tiff - save as psd

    If they are psd - save as tiff

    Or another file format let us know.

    Try to place the newly stored images then.

  • Remove all the missing links with frames

    How can I make a script to remove all the missing links with frames in indesign?

    var doc = app.activeDocument;
    Links var = doc.links;

    for (var i = links.length - 1; i > = 0; i--) {}
    If (links [i] .status == LinkStatus.LINK_MISSING) {}

    Frame.Remove ();
    counter ++;

    }
    {} catch (err)
    $.writeln (i + "-" + err);
    }

    }

    I have try this script, but still remain a framework, what is wrong with that?

    It works for me:

    var link, image, frame,
    doc = app.activeDocument,
    links = doc.links,
    counter = 0;

    for (var i = links.length-1; i >= 0; i--) {

  • Missing links CS5/Win 7

    I replaced my XP PC and copied all documents, pictures etc on my new Windows 7 machine. My problem is that all of the InDesign CS5 files created previously now have missing links. Is there a work around or do I go through each document and solve the problem of the missing link, a link at the same time?

    Bob

    The packaging is certainly the best solution. Better yet would be packaging to a shared network drive or an external hard drive that can be put back on the new computer.  Better yet, if you have access to a network, both computers to network together and share a folder so that you can package directly to the new computer from the old computer.

    The only other way I can think of to make sure that you do not lose the links is to make sure that the binding paths are completely identical from one computer to another, which is difficult when you switch operating systems. But I always recommend packing files, especially when you are finished with them. It encapsulates all your work files in a folder that contains everything you need to edit the file in the future - even if you move and have to re-bind the links.

  • Missing links in InDesign Cs4

    SO I read around this forum and have not found the answer I'm looking for.

    I'm not very familiar with InDesign. Ultimatly someone made a Web page for us and I want to be able to transfer it to Dreamweaver... which I am very familiar with.

    I have already designed file. All the files are on the local computer.

    When I open the file, it comes to getting the error message:

    untitled.JPG

    This Document contains 19 missing links to sources that are missing. You can find or reedit the missing links using the links Panel.

    My question is this:

    (1) is there a way to identify which links are missing?

    (2) where the links Panel in the menu bar?

    Thanks for your help and your Patience.

    I have to admit, I'm very much a frame with InDesign

    The names of the missing links appears in the links Panel, you will find by window > links.

    If you really do not have the files, you will need to select in the links Panel and repeat, leader ID to the correct location.

  • Missing link attributes

    Apex. Oracle.com

    See 2015-04-22_1137 - vikasa library and 2015-04-22_1137 - vikasa library

    Version 4.2 was a link attributes property defined on a column of link in a classic report. I don't see that in APEX 5.0. This is useful to define a CSS class and the custom attributes on the link that can be used in dynamic actions. For example, the definition of the attributes of link

    class="search" x:col1="#COL1#" x:col2="#COL2#"

    Dynamic action can then be written with a trigger for jQuery selector a.search that can use the data passed in via custom attributes using the $(this.triggeringElement).attr("x:col1")

    I don't see how to do this in APEX 5.0. What Miss me?
