  Three other writers and I are having a problem with feet disappearing into FrameMaker.  Here's the problem: in FrameMaker, footers appears correctly.  When convert us a book in PDF format, many of footers disappear.  We find that a footer (or a part of the footer) appears on the first page of the chapter, but then footers disappear in the rest of the chapter.

  · I tried to restart my machine and then only FrameMaker loaded (if memory problems).

  · I optimized the book file and associated chapters.

  · I experimented with different settings distill.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  I have a simple question - apologies if it has already been asked.

  This is a very sophisticated system animation does not behave as it should.   I could repro the issue in the upgraded project. It looks like a bug.

  However, you can achieve the same effect by

  (1) withdrawal slave "display: off ' editing and

  (2) to frame 0, put the trigger "sym.$("slave").hide ();"

• Letters disappear when the PDF file size reduction.

  I have a PDF file of several page that contains bitmap images and vector of text. It was originally created in InDesign and exported in PDF format. When I exported the PDF file at 300 dpi, all rendered beautifully. However, when I reduced the quality of image by optimizing PDF (all images of 80 dots per inch at high quality), random letters of my text disappered. Weird, since they are vectors and should not be affected by lowered anyway ppp settings.

  The gaps are where letters should be, and I can even use my text cursor to copy and paste the missing letters in a text file, for example. So basically, all the data is still there, just letters are not displayed. This is not resolved by zooming, and unfortunately, the letters also are not displayed when the document is printed. I have all my embedded fonts. Would be - this due to the fact that I use a light font? (Verlag Extra light). The letters that will miss seem to be completely at random. I have Acrobat Professional 8.

  Rather than use PDF Optimization, try using a lower export setting in InDesign and see if it works (use press or quality print settings but less than the resolution of the image.)

  I created PDF and tag files using the properties of the Document Acrobat X Pro dialog box (file > properties). But when I view the file properties in Windows, I do not see these tags in the Details tab looking for help on the Adobe website, I found a reference to a PDF tab.   Sometimes Windows will need a 32-bit and a 64-bit version of something. This is provided in some cases - such as the Adobe PDF print driver. And Add-ons for Word.  There must be a lot of these things, and not all appear to have been made. Of course, more might have be made in Acrobat XI and more, someday, to XII...

  I installed the Acrobat Pro trial using Word 2007 on my computer (Windows xp).

  Link Acrobat tool to place an annotation to link on the desired text string.

  With Acrobat 9, open the toolbar of peak edits.

  With Acrobat X, open the Toolbox, view the content pane and select the link tool.

  Use one of the "oops" to output PDF to play as well with.

  Go to the content panel. Select text next to an image.

  Now, use the menu of the content panel to 'find content selection '.

• Images deleted (and videos) icloud library do not disappear into the folder of the masters

  I've got iCloud Library set up on my Mac OS X 10.11.6 and my iPhone iOS 9.3.3

  I have 300 + pictures and videos in my library to iCloud and then I recently deleted 50 + useless pictures and videos on my Mac to prepare a backup on Google Photos for the first time. I then tried Google pictures and to my surprise, the pictures I deleted still get uploaded to Google pictures even if I them deleted on my Mac, still 300 + of them.

  I am looking for .mov in the masters in my library folder, and I always find my deleted videos. I tried to use unwanted CleanMyMac to photo but it is not deleted.

  Is it possible to remove the so-called "deleted" photos and videos without completely deleting my library of Photos, or should I make a cool library to start over?

• Private characters in the PDF conversion

  I created a character private and used in the WORD document. No problems.

  I just tried to convert the WORD document to PDF format. I get an error message "Failed to export because of an unexpected error". I think that this is caused by the private character.
