  This has probably been discussed and respond before today, but I cannot find any mention other than a search, discovering dozens of torrents.

  When you receive a message that you need to update the plugins when opening a file, this means that the file was saved in a newer version of InDesign that you use. It's a terrible message there are no updates to plugin update for this problem. Ask the person who provided the file to provide a file .idml instead (and expect losses of conversion), or upgrade to the correct version of the code.

  There is no need to update your Panel. We really have not changed the decorative Panel after v29, so what you have now is all you need.

  I need help to make a plugin for indesign with Panel. It's doesn't work for me!

  When I open a sample project that works (many example project make mistake when I create them) and when I build it, it create several files in the folder "Release.build". Some .dat .dep, .sh, etc..

  What can I do with these files? Why I don't have a. InDesignPlugin file?

  And a second question, how do I make the interface panel (with buttons, field, etc.)?

  You can create a plugin Panel in the beginning of the creation of a project using "dollyxs". There is an option to create the Panel in the final phase of dollyxs. Or you can manually code in the file .fr.

  Some tips for you, VS 2015 is not recommended for dev environment. CS6 InDesign plugin. You will meet all kinds of issues if you use for creating plugins CS6 2015, are some of the issues you may face

  1. Compilation or linking errors
  2. Random crashes, while the plugin is running, if you manage to get that much.

  The main reason for this is the different versions of libraries CRT used by different versions of VS, which used once all causes all sorts of compatibility issues.

  I would recommend that you follow the recommended by Adobe in the SDK VS version.

  Now in regards to putting in place the project settings, you must configure the following paths mainly to point to different paths of the SDK

  1. Include paths for the C++ compiler, these are directories that contain different header files. This will contain multiple paths, see the sample project SDK for more details
  2. Path for libraries that need to be linked to your project, see Linker of a SDK project.
  3. Include the path to the resource compiler
  4. Apart from this, you can also set the executable directories, as shown in the screenshot you attached. This is used to designate certain executables that are used during the accumulation of the generation of the project phase.

  You could refer to the sample project SDK for details, I would recommend that you base your new project on a sample project of SDK software for beginners and once you are comfortable with the settings, you can go ahead and write your own project to project depending on how you like to your Setup project the configuration files. For more details on how to write configuration files for VS projects to do a google search on it.

  Our Mac to Headquarters only fails to boot into OSx, I took it to the Genius bar to solve problems and they said to wipe the hard drive and re install OSx which is fine except that I need the product key InDesign CS5 out of it. We have not written anywhere product key or the original software/box with the fact that he came and also, I don't know what InDesign email address is logged because it has installed many years before I was hired. But I am able to access the hard drive on a Mac and see all the files to boot from an OSx on my USB key. So my question is: does anyone know the file or where I can find the product key on the hard disk?

  You can not find. The key is used when applications are installed. Activation will write a code nvisible. If you want to use any Adobe software on another computer, you must install it from the original installer (download or installer).

  But you should be able to see the Adobe ID that was used during execution of the program.

  If you have saved this important information and if you are not able to rebuild it, you're out of luck, you will have to buy it again.

  It does not necessarily mean that they are not on your machine, but it doesn't mean that they aren't where C4D think they are.

  R16, MAXON introduced some great features to their system of texture. In the Manager menu material go to Texture > Texture Manager. It will show a list of all of the textures used in your scene and you notes by those that C4D has lost the link. If you happen to know where these files are located (UV matte Texture.tif and smoked Hickory.png), you can point the C4D to them and he's going to fix things. VRay plugin stuff I am not familiar with as we are currently using VRay where I work.

I tried to locate the Illustrator Prefs file but can't find it and can't able to reset my preferences. Any advice? It was a new Adobe Disc... the rest of the stuff which is indesign photoshop etc installed fine.

  With these clarifications, I definitely suggest you try reinstalling how complete three steps (that would be 6) in your other thread):
