missing statistics script

In Photoshop CS6 - my goal is to create an Image stack. I read using Photoshop: Image Stacks instructions but I'm stuck trying to use two scripts to overlay images. The first script I've tried is file > Scripts > load files into stack. However, after my layers into a smart object, the next step is to choose layer > smart objects > Mode of stacking, but the stacking Mode is grayed out. Why?

The second script I wanted to try is statistical, but this script does not contain the file > Scripts drop-down list. Where can I find, and where should I place on my Mac (OS 10.9.4) so Photoshop can find and list it on the menu?

If you have the perpetual version of CS6 only version extended the cs6 has statistics, and gray battery mode fusion Adobe off stacking mix option in the standard mode rather then deleting the option is an Adobe bug recognize in this forum.  Its sounds like you got CS6 Mac standard perpetual version 13.0.6

  • Counters of a chassis on two missing statistics

    Hello

    I just came across a strange behavior. I currently have a small domain of ucs with 2 chassis. I just saw that I am unable to see some counters statistics on one of the two chassis.

    Example, the current speed of the fan is not yet displayed, as you can see here:

    For reference, here is the screenshot of fan stats a chassis:

    Memory I don't remember having to activate the collection of statistics, and also after looking at the docs, I have not found a way to enable or disable the collection of statistics.

    Everyone has seen this behavior?

    If this isn't the case, I'll open a request for support with cisco.

    Hello

    The original problem has been documented here

  • How feedback statistics really works in 12 c?

    Hello

    I'm studying 12 c material and have a question about the feedback statistics (or Feedback: cardinality).

    Reading on the Feedback from statistics, I understand that the actual number of lines is written in a Directive Plan

    -In the first execution of a SQL statement, the optimizer generates an execution plan.

    -After the first performance, the optimizer disables comments from statistics tracking.

    -If the query runs again, the optimizer then uses the corrected instead of its usual estimate cardinality estimates.

    Source: http://docs.Oracle.com/database/121/TGSQL/tgsql_optcncpt.htm#TGSQL94983

    But what happens if the data becomes spread out in the next few hours and the plan should better not be used?

    When and how the plan will become invalid and will be the optimizer hard parse a new plan?

    Is anyone able to explain that to me?

    Thank you in advance.

    Kind regards

    Hello. This feature is on the bad rating because of missing statistics. And solves the problem once. To modify data, the work of gathering must do the right thing.

  • How out-of-date statistics affects the decisions of the optimizer

    Hello

    We use Oracle 11.1 RAC. The optimizer_dyanmic_sampling parameter is set to 2. We do not voluntarily automatic grouping statistics. We have tables with stale statistics. I'm not asking if we need to collect statistics for these or not. My questions are: what can the optimizer due when he meets obsolete statistics? The optimizer can choose to use dynamic sampling of these tables with stale statistics? If yes how can I determine when this happens?

    Thank you

    Richard

    Published by: rbrieck on November 30, 2011 10:50

    I think that bland applies only to decide whether to collect statistics. The optimizer uses information, given in the context where it is running, which can include data access information in more modern versions. Missing statistics affect the optimizer - are stale? Only when he decides to collect.

  • Auto no estimates and histograms or small is % no default histograms?

    In the past, I used custom written statistics scripts which, by default, collect statistics on large tables with a small percentage estimate and for all COLUMNS of SIZE 1.  They allow the percentage of estimate to be more on individual tables and allow me to choose the individual columns to have histograms with the maximum number of buckets.  The nice thing about this approach is that the statistics ran very efficiently by default and they could dial upward as needed to grant individual queries.

    But with 11g, you can set preferences to the level of the table so that the work of automatic statistics or even a manual execution of gather_table_stats will use your settings.  In addition, there are some algorithm of special sampling associated with auto_sample_size that miss you out on if you manually set the percentage of the estimate.  So I could change my approach to query tuning and the collection of statistics to use AUTO_SAMPLE_SIZE and for all COLUMNS size AUTO by default and then replace these if necessary to grant a request or if necessary for statistics to be executed in a reasonable time.

    I work in a large enough company with a team of about 10 DBA and a group of developers and over 100 Oracle databases, so we can not really carefully keep track of each system.  Having default values be less intensive resources saves me grief to have stats jobs to run too long, but it requires intervention when a request needs to be tuned.  Also, with my custom scripts I get a lot of hassle for people willing to know why I do not use the default settings of Oracle is negative.  But I saw the default settings, even on the 11.2, running too long on large tables.  Generally, our systems are starting small and then data grows and grows until things start to break auto stats can seem you well at all at first, but eventually they starts to run too long.  Also, when the jobs of his stats run forever or automatic tasks do not end in the window, I get complaints about the stats taking too long or not up-to-date.  Therefore, any sense has its advantages and disadvantages that I can tell.

    So, my question, fueled by a day of work post Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, is if anyone else has this same dillema and how you solved.  I appreciate any input on this subject.

    -Bobby

    Hi Bobby,.

    > Also, when statistical work run forever or automatic tasks do not end in the window I get complaints about the stats taking too long or not up-to-date

    Complaints about statistics "not up-to-date" are very common, but they do not need to be "up-to-date"... they just need to be... represents a very significant difference

    > I think that this amounts to estimate the percentage and histograms.  If you can't get the percentage and histograms want to finish, you need to dial them back but then stats are not as good.

    Know how histograms are brought together under the hood for each column. There are a few nice improvements with AUTO_SAMPLE_SIZE (Blog: How AUTO_SAMPLE...). However if you want to learn more about the improvements of NDV or summaries - please consult the book of Amit Poddar pass a separate sampling.

    Personally, I usually start by "FOR ALL COLUMNS SIZE 1" and AUTO_SAMPLE_SIZE (from scratch) and only edit table preferences that must be changed (such as histograms due to the inclination of data, etc..). Other basic stuff works pretty well in most of the cases and so I usually don't need to put a lot of effort into it (you need not to fix something that isn't broken). He published also with aggressive sampling and CBO behavior changes (like fix_control 5483301: power off), but this must be matched to the case by case of course.

  • Open and close the connection in oracle procedure

    Here is the procedure I'm in I insert data into the table temp_soap_monitoring using the select statement. I have soap_monitoring table FONIC_RETAIL database where I want to take the data and insert into the table temp_soap_monitoring. I play the position of planner of all 5 minutes for this procedure so that I get always the latest data in soap_monitoring@fonic_retail table. The problem of this procedure is that it takes too much cost and the query execution time to perform this procedure. Whenever he tries to extract the data from db link and save my local database. I remember in Java, php, and other programming languages, we have method in order to open the db connection when we tried to extract data from db link and then once integration is complete, we can close the db connection. So the performance improves and also has no load on db link. In this method, we have to assign link db to retrieve the data. So I think is it possible to apply this logic in my oracle procedure. The question arises because at this moment I am hard code the link db, but now I have 3 db more links and I will not reproduce the same procedure by assigning diffferent db links.

    temp_soap_monitoring table by using the select statement. I have

    soap_monitoring table of FONIC_RETAIL database where I want to take the data and insert into the table temp_soap_monitoring.

    WHY? Why you are moving the data? Why not just use it table, is it already?

    The problem of this procedure is that it takes too much cost and the query execution time to perform this procedure.

    The solution is to FIND THE PROBLEM. Troubleshoot the code and find out where is the problem, if any.

    Based SOLELY on what you have posted the solution might be to add just an appropriate index.

    Whenever he tries to extract the data from db link and save my local

    method to open the db connection when we tried to extract data of

    DB link and then once integration is complete, we can close the db

    connection.  So the performance improves and also has no load on db link.

    What? The LAST thing you want to do is keep the closing and opening of the connections. I don't know how 'remember you' from Java or other languages. The main reasons pools of connections were invented to AVOID have to repeatedly open and close connections.

    A db link not a NOT a "charge" - the "charge" is the query is made. If you write a poor query or have a poor data without the necessary index model, or have missing statistics, then you will get poor results.

    In this method, we have to assign link db to retrieve the data. So I have
    is it possible to apply this logic in my oracle procedure to belive. The
    question arises because at the moment, I'm hardcode db link but now I
    have more ties db 3 and I will not reproduce the same procedure by
    assigning diffferent db links.

    You can certainly write Java code to connect to each database with a direct connection. But all write code PL/SQL must include the database link. And the only way to avoid hard-coding the link is to keep the names of link in a table and use dynamic sql statements to build and run the query. This isn't what you want to do if you're looking for performance.

    SELECT LAST_TASK_ID INTO LAST_SM_ID FROM CAPTURING where DB_TABLE='TEMP_SOAP_MONITORING';

    For all we know which could be the WHOLE CAUSE of your problem. If there is no index on the table, you could do a full table to a table with lines scan 800 billion;

    We have NO WAY of knowing since you haven't posted info. Please read the faq to find out how to post a request for tuning and the info you provide.

    1. the query

    2. the table and index DDL

    3. the execution plan

    4 RowCounts for tables and query predicates

    5. the info on the stats: how you collected them and if they are up to date

    update
    CAPTURING set LAST_TASK_ID=
    CASE WHEN ((SELECT MAX(ID) from TEMP_SOAP_MONITORING) IS NULL) AND (LAST_TASK_ID  IS NULL)  THEN (SELECT MAX(ID) from SOAP_MONITORING@FONIC_RETAIL)
    WHEN (SELECT MAX(ID) from TEMP_SOAP_MONITORING) IS NULL THEN LAST_TASK_ID + 1
    ELSE (SELECT MAX(ID) from TEMP_SOAP_MONITORING) END,
    CAPTURING_DATE = CURRENT_TIMESTAMP, LAST_CAPTURED_DATE = LAST_CAPT_DATE where DB_TABLE='TEMP_SOAP_MONITORING';

    My guess is that TERRIBLE method of trying to get a 'LAST ID' is what's causing ALL your problems of performance. This method will not scale, and it will NOT properly work in a multiuser environment.

    You need create a good BATCH_CONTROL table that all processes use during the creation and execution of lots.

    The MASTER of the process batch:

    1 Gets a new BATCH_ID using a sequence

    2 locks the current row in the table control and uses / change the value "last".

    3 creates a new line in the control table for the new batch process

    4. the line of control to date with the start time, end time, result State, County, etc. for the batch

    Your likely PROBLEM of has NOTHING to do with the links of the db.

    It is using information from DBA_TAB_MODIFICATIONS to find any % fixed change as 10% or more or it scans all objects?

    Copied and pasted in the documentation, you can find via some simple Google search if you are unsure http://docs.oracle.com

    GATHERAUTO: Includes all necessary statistics automatically. Oracle implicitly determines between the need of new statistics and determines how to collect these statistics. When GATHER AUTO is specified, the only valid additional parameters are stattab , statid , objlist and statown ; all other parameters are ignored. Returns a list of objects processed.

    GATHERSTALE: Collects statistics on obsolete objects as determined by looking at the * _tab_modifications views. In addition, return a list of objects that are found to be flawed.

    GATHEREMPTY: Collects statistics on objects that currently have no statistics. Return the list of lost and found to have no statistics.

  • Selection.Fill bug in photoshop CC 2015 version 16.1.2 (2015.1.2)?

    First of all, boy I got Miss ps - scripts.com

    Trying to verify that there is actually a bug in the latest version of Photoshop (version 16.1.2). Do not expose this behaviour in 16.0.1 or 15.2.2 on a mac.

    It is the version from system information that exposed the bug.

    Adobe Photoshop Version: 2015.1.2 20160113.r.355 2016/01 / 13:23:59:59 CL 1059143 x 64

    Most of our scripts do not behave correctly in 16.1.2 version. I think that it is limited to a bug by using the fill method. Sound intermittent (sometimes it will fill with the appropriate color sometimes not). I tried to remove a script logic down to the bare minimum of what may be the buggy behavior.  It's script that generates a multi-channel document with 2 new channels spots (one with a square in the upper left ("Box1"), one with a square in the lower right corner ("Box2") overlapping the other). The result of the script should create an alpha channel that represents the region where cross the tracks "Box1" & "Box2", resulting in a square of 500 pixel Center.

    Martine var = app.documents.add (1000, 1000, 72, "bug.tif", NewDocumentMode.GRAYSCALE, DocumentFill.WHITE);

    var app.activeDocument = docRef;

    docRef.changeMode (ChangeMode.MULTICHANNEL);

    var rgbWhite = new SolidColor ();

    rgbWhite.rgb.red = 255;

    rgbWhite.rgb.green = 255;

    rgbWhite.rgb.blue = 255;

    var rgbBlack = new SolidColor ();

    rgbBlack.rgb.red = 0;

    rgbBlack.rgb.green = 0;

    rgbBlack.rgb.blue = 0;

    var box1Channel = docRef.channels.add ();

    box1Channel.kind = ChannelType.SPOTCOLOR;

    box1Channel.name = "Box1";

    docRef.activeLayer.invert ();

    var box1Region = Array (Array (0,0), (0, 750), Array Array (750, 750), Array (750, 0));

    docRef.selection.select (box1Region);

    docRef.selection.fill (rgbBlack);

    docRef.selection.deselect ();

    var box2Channel = docRef.channels.add ();

    box2Channel.kind = ChannelType.SPOTCOLOR;

    box2Channel.name = "Box2";

    docRef.activeLayer.invert ();

    var box2Region = Array (Array (250,250), Array (250, 1000), Array (1000, 1000), Array(1000, 250));

    docRef.selection.select (box2Region);

    docRef.selection.fill (rgbBlack);

    docRef.selection.deselect ();

    var alphaChannel = docRef.channels.add ();

    alphaChannel.name = "WhereBoxesIntersect";

    var box1Selection = docRef.channels.getByName ("Box1");

    docRef.selection.load (box1Selection);

    docRef.selection.fill (rgbWhite);

    var box2Selection = docRef.channels.getByName ("Box2");

    docRef.selection.load (box2Selection);

    docRef.selection.invert ();

    docRef.selection.fill (rgbBlack);

    docRef.selection.deselect ();

    I noticed that when you use this script as soon as the first launch of this version of photoshop (16.1.2) the script fulfills none of the channels with black.  See the image below. Note the absence of black region fills the spots and alpha channels.

    PS_2015-1-2_FirstLaunch.png

    Any subsequent launches of the script, however, seem to behave properly in the version 16.1.2. Strange. As part of most of our scripts but I can only say that the behavior of the selection.fill method is intermittent and inconsistent at best. This is the behavior expected in version 15.2.2 and subsequent launch 16.1.2. Note that the black region fills the spots and alpha channels.

    PS_2014-2-2.png

    I hope that this can be confirmed and corrected in a patch course before its impact on our workflows. Thanks in advance for your time. I would like to know how I can better developed.

  • Poor performance during copy/clone a VM disk

    Hello

    for several days, we try to find a solution to improve performance when the computer images virtual of one ESXi (free) to another.

    Our situation is as follows:

    We have 4 different servers ESXi running, must benefit from all the material according to the compatibility of the VMWares guide. Connected via gigabit, all virtual machines network has stopped, nothing else running on the network. All virtual machines are stored locally on SATA drives.

    Now we wanted to spend a bunch of computer images virtual of one ESXi for others - but regardless of what technique, we used, we have reached a maximum. Speed about 10 MB/s (which would take several days to transfer everything).

    We tried the following:

    -Enable SSH and SCP allows you to copy the files directly between servers (using several different encryption algorithms)

    -Use Veeam FastSCP for copy files directly

    -Connect through SSH on both sides and has used a combination of tar and netcat to push raw on the network files

    -Install ProFTPD and copy files via FTP

    For all of these methods, the write speed was never over the ~10MByte/s (often it is still slower). So we thought that the networking might have a problem, that's why we tried a few transfers the.

    But even a local "dd" to transfer data of 1 local disk to another was just as slow as the transfer of network... We tried this on all the different materials of ESXi we have, with the RAID on, off, etc.

    After some googling, we discovered that this should be a problem with the VMFS that really does not support the use of "standard" file system tools That's why we tried to find a way to use the ESX-internal tools to copy/clone VM images.

    We installed a NFS server 'between' 2 ESXi servers, i.e. both have the NFS share accessible. Copy of ESXi to NFS is incredibly fast (via vSphere client, operating at gigabit full speed) - but the copy of NFS to ESXi is slow again (as before ~10MByte/s). The last test we did was use the vmkfstools command line utility to clone from the NFS share on the local disk of VMFS. This seems to be a little faster (difficult to measure due to missing statistics, seems to be ~20MByte/s), but far from a quick fix.

    What is the mechanism to move a virtual computer image on a server ESXi? Is there a way to improve the transfer speed?

    Yes, he does. As I said, this problem (poor local disk IO performance observed in ESXi, but not in the virtual machine) can be eliminated only by 'mature' raid-controller with large onboard cache, usually 512 MB - 2 GB (or storage network, of course, but now we are talking about local drives).

    It does not matter if you have a local drive attached to the controller chipset or raid - without performance cache controller is just as bad. In fact, it can be even worse on raid-controller (without cache) If you use raid5/6 to parity calculations...

  • Tool sets.

    No apparent reason, I now get an error message when I activate the tool rule in CS6. "Error 48: file or folder does not exist." Ive been using the tool sets for several years in CS5/6 without a problem. I would be grateful if someone could help me with this. Cheers, BJScreen Shot 2014-05-15 at 3.17.49 pm.png

    You are missing your scripts:

    Perhaps delve into Time Machine and see if they are there in the backup. If you have an entire folder of Scripts, try to restore.

    If that fails, uninstall CS6, run CS cleaner use of the CC cleaning tool to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6, download an installer of CS6 costs produced CS6 downloadand reinstall.

  • How to create tablespace HRAPP

    Hello world

    @Nicolas; @Hakan Biroglu

    My system: Windows Server 2003 32-bit. Oracle DB 10.1.0.2.0; PT 8.52; Campus Solutions 9.0 - revision 5 and PeopleSoft Human Capital Management;

    During Data Mover script, I get the following message:

    Import AAP_ETHNIC_PMPT
    Create Table AAP_ETHNIC_PMPT
    -SQL error. Position of the error: return 108: 959 - ORA-00959: tablespace 'HRAPP' does not exist

    How can I fix this error, please help?

    You probably missed the script that creates storage for your application to be able to load the data. Delete your database and restart from scratch, in the right way, read the doc:
