  Since I installed the latest updates for Vista x 64, I continue to pounce on COD5 with this exception:

  The problem seems to be related to the Punkbuster client. Before the latest updates, I don't have a problem.
  For Windows XP, a similar problem was introduced with KB917422 (in connection with Kaspersky anti virus I think).

  Any thoughts on this topic?

  After that received several updates this morning, Word Pad stop working. When I open it, I get an error message saying... "unable to create the new document.

  Please provide a copy of your system information file. Type the system information in the search box above the Start button and press the ENTER key (alternative is select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, system information). The system creates a new information file system each time system information is available. You must allow a minute or two before the file is completely filled before exporting a copy. Do not offer not filtered files. Do not place the cursor in the list of reports before selecting the Action from the menu. Do not clear the logs so that you have a persistent problem.

  As the title suggests, notifications for email, applications, pop etc. is no longer at the top right and no audio playback.  He grew up in another forum, so I'm posting here too.

  Firefox 30 spent some less commonly used "Always turned on" plugins "asking to activate. To check and change this to TrueSuite, you can use the page modules. Either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. Then on the right, check the setting on the right side of TrueSuite.

• After the latest updates from Microsoft, my Internet Backgammon supplied with Windows 7 no longer works. It is a dead link and the game opens same. That's happened?

  I like to play trump stings on Internet and Internet Backgammon that's installed with Windows 7, Home Premium edition.  However, after the automatic updates installed yesterday, I noticed that the link to play the Internet Backgammon is no longer works.  It's just a dead link.  I can click on it, but nothing happens.  Not even an ounce of trying to open.  It's just 'died '.  I can still play trump stings on the Internet and I have no trouble to access the internet, so I wonder if this is just a small problem or do you have Microsoft remove Internet Backgammon as one of its windows games?  Note, this is Internet Backgammon that is installed on the computer, in the folder games - it is NOT the version of backgammon on MSN that you actually go to the internet and to play.  I am referring to the one in the Games folder, which is installed with Windows 7.  I play this game almost every day, so I hope that it will be restored.  I wish there was a way to contact Microsoft about this, but there isn't and they charge, then...

  After the last update, I was not able to open a new tab (if using the menu FILE > new tab or by pressing CTRL + T). I use windows 8.1 SL 64-bit. When I restore the old version, the new tab feature seems to work.

  This problem may be caused by an extension that is not working properly.

  Increased delay time after pressing an application, multitasking is too slow.

  Hi, I have a Dell 14R with Windows 8, standard configuration.  After the automatic updates pushed on 06-04-14, computer laptop start behaving strange - not able to connect to any external website.  Home page only on a browser worked.  Troubleshooting auto did not find any problems. I restored the computer to the last point saved, generated an error "cannot restore', perhaps due to MacAfee, but solved the problem.   Then I disabled the updates for windows, just in case.  Did you anyone has a similar experience lately and was able to locate and solved the problem?

  No I have not any suitcase software installed. Does jogging but my memory and I got some trial graphic clever plug-ins installed, which had expired recently.

  Uninstalling all these now let Illustrator launch. Therefore, it seems to work.

  I'll install the Wacom tablet program later. I suspect that it will be fine.

• DNS stopped working after the latest Vista updates

  Yesterday my Vista Home Premium has been updated by Microsoft through the automatic update process. After the update and reboot network stopped working. I was able to trace this DNS no longer works. I was unable to solve the problem until I supported updates, after which the system returns to normal operation.

  I use Open office, but after a recent update it doesn't seem to work... Any suggestion that could help me solve the problem...

  The latest version of OpenOffice is 3.3.0. If your own copy is out of date, maybe it's time to get the latest version.
