• Software BlackBerry mix conflict with the USB mouse

  I installed Blend and had no problems.  It does not connect while the USB mouse is connected to the computer.  If I disconnect the mouse, then mix will connect to my passport.  IT remains connected and happy until I have plug in a USB mouse.  At that time it disconnects immediately.

  The computer is a laptop with touchpad.  A mouse shows the same question.

  You have the opportunity to try another USB cable?

  I had a similar experience with my eReader and it turns out my USB cable was the source of the problem.

  I'm trying to update the mixture.

  A newer version uploaded, arrive to install the stage and then I get a message saying - cant install until the next request is closed - mix BlackBerry.  Then cancel!

  I have no BB open, - how to get around this please.

  @pretty_krissy Why are you apologizing? And what melt being EOL have to do with the problem of the OP?

  @Jeloise I had held off answer because I don't know and I expected someone more qualified to answer. However, I had to chime now to say that the mix works. Yes, BlackBerry will not develop it more support, but you can still download the software, install it and it works.

  So now that I've posted, here are some thoughts...

  When you run the program installation, is there any of you see to force applications to close? Don't forget and look if the dialogue might be hidden behind another open window.

  How about you, open the Task Manager and search for applications it and closing them there before running the installation program?

  Can you run the mixture and installed software link now? If so, is either one configured to run at Windows startup? If Yes, what about turning off, reboot and re-run the installation program?

  How about you, removing the BlackBerry Desktop Software before you run the installer? If you have tried, what with an uninstall utility? Or if you have not yet removed, you'd probably better to use an uninstall utility this time.

• Software BlackBerry Blackberry link does not connect WiFi but mixture

  Hi all

  I can be alone at this moment, but I can't connect to the link using the WIFI in my passport.  I've updated and fact uninstall several times.  I bought my passport in the spring of last year and it has been a struggle since then.  When I first set up the Link software it was fabulous.  It connected quickly and repeatedly throughout the day.  I could transfer files to and from my PC using my PC or my passport.

  As time has passed, I had to uninstall and reinstall the software Link several times so he could work on WIFI.  From 13/08/16 today I uninstalled and reinstalled the link again and although I can connect by USB connection WIFI connection does not work while the mixture is done with WIFI.

  I disconnected the net and turned off the firewall.  The WIFI connection worked once but failed a second time.  In addition, the Passport will be connect to and surf the net via my virtual wifi.  I find it very strange as time has passed the liaison WIFI feature from excellent to difficult and inoperable.

  Here are the details:

  I use Windows 7 pro Service pack one

  I use a Microsoft Virtual WIFI Miniport Adapter

  Windows Firewall

  Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus

  Passport for Blackberry with OS current starting from 13/08/16

  BlackBerry Desktop Package downloaded and installed 08/13/16 after uninstalling and cleaning registry.

  I used mixes both the link because I disabled the protection in real time to Microsoft Security Essentials for a week. I was able to connect with reliability on WIFI and cellular phone network. This seems to have done the trick.

  I downloaded and installed the latest version of the desktop software. Link opens automatically when I plugged my BB. Cannot find software to run the exe. Mix is there but not link. When I try to reinstall, I like that it is already there. Where can I find?

  Basically when I try to download BlackBerry mixture v1.2 for PC through this LINK, it appears like the BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Help, please!

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  BB made many of us are unhappy with the unhappy choice of naming, they did when they grouped LINK and mix in one package. Appointing "Desktop Software" created redundancy and confusion with the old desktop software, and we all dealt with him since then.

  But, from one of the links on this page, what you will receive is a package called Desktop Software, but it is completely different from the package inherited the same name. When run you it, it will present a screen where you choose what exactly from the package you want to install... you can select/deselect link or mix right there.

  I could not test it myself, but if it worked, it would be an unsupported configuration, so if you have run the questions we would be able to help. If a Linux version is made available so, I'll be sure to post a notice in this forum.

  Based on the comment of @John_Clark, mixture of BlackBerry supports devices with the software of version 10.3 officially released BlackBerry OS 10. Currently, this includes the passport of BlackBerry and Porsche Design P 9983 BlackBerry smartphone only.

  BlackBerry 10 OS 10.3 version upgrades for other devices such as the Z3, Z10, Z30, Q5 and Q10 which will be released in the coming months, after what you will be able to use the mix on the devices. Thank you!

  I've waited this 10.3 to my BB Q10 and finally its here, but now I can not coonect my Q10 BB Blackberry mixture and its connectivity error showing that I can not connect my device to the mix because my Antivirus on my PC. even if I greeted my antivirus software mix. I attach here the screenshot of error I get. help maybe?

  

  As I told someone else here, I had the same problem, and I understand the windows firewall was causing problems... Try to disable your windows firewall and see if it will connect after doing this. I left mine off and downloaded the firewall Zone Alarm and all is good now.

  Yesterday I installed on my Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 Blend.

  I have try all kinds of things: Roll-back to the restoration of the point system 08/01/2014, after that I did upgrade from Windows and restarted the PC, then re mix of downloaded and installed. Restart the PC and the same error message.

  Please help me solve this problem, I am more eccentric or tips to solve the tis.

  Your PC or device of profile do not meet the requirements in this area.

  -Create a post on your own channel

  -Nickname in cats group over the message and color lines under
  -When you mix open resilience automatic notifications to phone (no need to hear both on the computer and on the phone)
  -Do not delivered gray, read green, delivered blue BBM on the mix... just like on the phone... This checkmark confuses me with reading... which is not the case.
  -Make the hub full availible in blend (not only email. bbm, text), but also the little Bell (I have my phone in Dutch for "meldingen" didn't you know), also facebook and twitter and stuff.
  -I would like to change my phone fusion settings, when I see or learn a new setting it would be nice if I can change it in the mixture and to happen on my phone.
  -In the main screen of mixture, on the left, I: sms: 1, E-mail: 2 bbm: 8... This makes feel me that I have 1 unread sms, 2 unread emails and 8 unread bbm messages... which is not also the case... its messages received today... therefore, it would be nice if those who may be replaced by unread messages? and statistics such as those you can access a page 'statistics'... including your own stats to channel bbm?
  -Hide things (change the default layout)... I use the calendar so no need for me to have this measure all the space I have im having e-mail here so I can see all the new emails directly when I opened blend. I want somewhere on the top like bbm, text, it is now.
  -Make it easier to copy files from my phone to my computer, now I go to mediacard, copy, select my computer in the file manager, then select where I want (just copy paste computer Assembly would be nicer, also the other way around).
  -The ability to see my device information (using, space, processor using mem and able to kill apps) in blend would be nice.
  -Display by default on the battery indicator at the bottom right.
  -To my phone, I sometimes notifications with "(blabla ordinateur a accès et blabla) I know that... no need for a reminder everytime I open or close blend."
  -Remove the link and put all backup and synchronization and these things in blend (may be an api link) but at least I don't have 2 running the program (I need link atm to copy to my computer as example)
  -Change in the user interface, for some reason it does not feel high end BlackBerry is, feels more something like Google/Android would build (they are the only one that can turn good software in bad software, just look at Android as example.. lol)
  -BlackBerry Browser (work and native browser but make 'view of the office' instead of mobile)
  -Change the BBM chat list / cat sizes for all you want.
  -Send a picture of mixture into bbm does not (bug)
  -UI update: too much white space (a bit make it look like the phone and the custom background)

  BB10 BONES device requires a link to Blackberry, BlackBerry Desktop Software is for BB 7 OS and device earlier.

  The file downloaded (BlackBerryDesktopSoftware_1.2.0.52_B59), this is what you need. Before you install this file, you need temporary disable your Antivirus and your firewall (if any).

  My BB Q10 cannot synchronize calendar and Contacts to link BB, because it finds no more prospects.

  I have a Lenovo desktop with 10 Windows (64-bit) and 2013 Office. I had office 365 before but had to uninstall because of a technical problem. Since I downloaded Office (and Outlook) 2013 the BB link does not recognize Outlook as an option to sync more.

  As far as I know from reading the discussions in this forum and in the Microsoft support Web site, Outlook 2010 is compatible for Contacts and Calendar sync with BlackBerry link on Windows 10. I am using Outlook 2007 on Win10. But I use Outlook.com as master of my Contacts to sync and backup purposes. That's why I encourage you to try outlook.com and you'll like it.
