  I have a blackberry bold 9700 and I got it a few days ago and every since then ive been trying to get the wifi working. Phones unlocked by the way.

  I implemented the wifi fine but in manage connections, I have my network in green next to my wifi and a white check mark to the right and its supposed to be a checkmark im assuming.

  No matter what I do my wifi symbol does not illuminate white his gray yet and I have configured the wifi and it says it's connected but still no wifi.

  I've updated. NET.Framework version 4.0 to version 4.5 and now bb link is runnig.

  Ok... After reading the other posts on this I found the problem. This is the latest version of iTunes mucking place all this. I reinstalled a previous version (12.1.3.6 64-bit since last year) and now BB link works without problem. It may be also that there are 32-bit versions and 64-bit itunes or remains on my system.
