  Many people complain when they reach around in the dark watching a movie they press and cause the movie ff or rwd.

  I think that this version tried to improve the situation by requiring the user to press and release the button then slide as formerly.

• Fast forward and rewind

  When I play a file and want to move forward towards a particular point in time registration or back controls "Fast forward" and "Rewind" doesn't seem to work. The FF takes just the player at the end of the file and the RW just bring it at the beginning. There are no points between the two.

  If you give the FF or REW button one press, this is what will happen. To ' scroll ' a song, press and hold the FF or REW until you get to the point where you want to resume.

  Of course, that "point" would be easier to find if the audio played during the 'research' as it did on the first series of e200v1.

  Fast forward or rewind media, to highlight the progress bar and click on your trackpad. Move it to the left or to the right, then when you are at the desired location, click again on your trackpad.

  Your original question did not mention that you wanted FOR the composition of edge iteslf, my apologies for the misinterpretation.

  You should be able to import any video control desired 'like' graphics and apply appropriate reading events.

  So for a graphical game would be something like sym.play(1000) ();

  For the Stop: Sym.stop ();

  Ditto for the break.

  As a reminder, it would be like sym.playReverse ();

  I'm not sure to fast forward as it will require some additional script changes.

• Why media player does not freeze when I fast forward a video?

  When I play the video on my laptop and I use windows media player.  When I try quickly toward the front of the screen freezes.  If I try to use another program to open the video such as DivX Plus Player I can see, rewind and fast forward without problem.

  This is quite annoying since one program, I can't use and another that I can.  How can I solve this problem with WMP?  Oh, and I've already updated to the latest version WMP.

• First Pro CC15 crashing when I fast forward

  I've seen many other messages talk how the first Pro CC 2015 to upgrade the causes of their version of first planting, but I didn't know all the messages with my precise cause of the accident. Whenever I have fast-forward on a clip in the Source window (especially when you see the audio waveforms), first fails because of a "serious mistake." Sometimes he tries to load an automatically saved version of the project, sometimes it isn't. It happens fairly regularly, but not 100% of the time.

  I have a few plugins to Red Giant installed, but I do not use them. Videos I'm editing are comments from pure product, so it's pretty simple editing - not crazy no effects, no timeline AE linked dynamically, just clips a Canon XF305, some PNGs and a file MXF audio wav. That's all. There are a handful of chronologies that are open at the same time, but they all have the same basic content.

  I'm in first Pro CC 2015.0.1 Release, v 9.0.1 (36) Build, so there is no update to what remains to be done. It's a pretty standard machine with a boost of RAM:

  Mac OSX 10.10.4

  3.2 GHz Quad - Core Intel Xeon processor

  32 GB OF RAM

  ATI Radeon HD 5770

  Can anyone help? Everyone knows the same problem?

  Try this: turn off the Audio preferences > multichannel sum outputs Mono Source monitor & maintain acute during rewinding.

• How to create a fast forward and return quick button?

  I would like to create a simple fast forward and return quick button. I get sporadic results with the rewind button. I love the playhead for 3 seconds (72 images) both when the user press the fast forward or rewind button. They should be able to hit two buttons repeatedly. If the playback head is less than 3 seconds, then it will go to the first image.

  Here is the code:

  One thing, that you must take care, is that you should not nest functions named within other functions.  Remove this function ff72 by itself.

  The currentFrame property is a read-only property, but you try to change its value using code in this line...

  this.gotoAndPlay this.currentFrame += (72);

  So change that line to be

  gotoAndPlay (currentFrame + 72);

  noticing that I took out "this" references as well.  They are most often useless in AS3 scenarios.

  I use 'VideoDisplay' forum for progressive download of the videoes from a server. Is anyone know how to add functions to fast-forward/reverse fast using Actionscript 3 with VideoDisplay object?

  I guess that for fast forward/backward you talk more than a simple binding position of the VideoDisplay to a slider control. There's a thread here interesting Rewind:

  After updating to the latest tvos, 10, fast forward on the videos does not work. I can only fast forward when I press on the right place on the pavement and fast forward 10 seconds in time.

  Someone else has the same problem? Is this a bug in update?

  When I join the pc to the windows domain, Windows Media Player version 11.0.5721.5280 leaves me not fast wav files forward, BUT when the Pc is not joined to the domain I have no problems fast forwarding.

  There is no GPO not applied to users or computers. I don't know what could be the problem.

  Anyone have any ideas what could be the cause?

• Sansa Fuze + function unadvertized - fast forward?

  Sansa Fuze + with firmare update 02.36.03 (I just noticed to day 02.38.06 but have not yet installed).

  It is good get navigation in folders with update 02.36.03, but controls seem nervous. While practicing, the white point down a display of music started skipping much faster, and a different icon - an arrow double game (fast forward?) come up right.    This might be useful, but how to fight against it?  Is this documented somewhere?

• Fast forward Question

  My old Sansa C200 has to listen to you (obviously at a very fast pace) then you were fast shipping.  This has been useful in trying to move forward in a podcast, but not directly to the order of the day.  The Clip + does not seem to support this function.

  Is there a configuration item that I missed that will allow for this?

  None of the line of Sansa mp3 players have done this since the advent of the e200v2 series. I (and others) agree that it was a useful tool to fast-forward through commericals in podcasts, etc. but unfortunately he has not been resurrected, that this is due to the lack of compatibility with newer processors or the interests of the development team.
