  I have trouble of base to develop a communication VB2010 gpib application.

  When you include in my code

  Imports NationalInstruments.NI4882 I have the following error

  After NattionalInstruments in imports. the dropw down menu does not list the NI4882 dll.

  I don't know why.

  I tried to reference different DLLs in VB by adding a reference, but the I do I get error messages in the attachment.

  I was able to get rid of the error on import NationalInstruments.NI4882.

  the sequence:

  get rid of all the facilities OR, install ni4882_311, add the patch f1,

  in VB2010, add a reference to the NationaInstruments.NI4882.net (dll) (which is not created automatically). Then, the imports statement is without error.

  also a reference to Nationalinstruments.common.net is probably necessary.

  now, I need only the orders of openGPIB, reading and writing.

  If someone knows a good tutorial, that would be appreciated.

  Looks like you are using an earlier version of the .NET Framework in your project code while the project is configured to use the 4.0 Framework. I recommend you take a look at the following articles from Microsoft about a similar behavior. They should resolve this error message.
