Try to install VB2010 Express, can not uninstall VS2010 Beta (Error 1402)

I tried to install VB2010 Express, which directs me to uninstall VS2010 Beta. I mostly succeeded in this, but I get error 1402, as follows:

When I regedit and go to the registry error 1402 key, it tells me that I can change the permissions, but when I try to do, I'm denied...

Please: any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

P. S.

Note that the registry key that I found (and I'm editing privileges on) is:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-1-5-18\Components\8EEF86DD963C1D111A37000A9CA05BF0\7F3517A2CE838933DB4BA232E717E79E

(it does not begin with 'UNKNOWN\Components\... »)

P.P.S.

I use Vista 64-bit, if that makes a difference...

Thanks again!
