  • MMS does not not on iOS 10!

I can only send MMS via iMessage. When I click on the photo icon, theres no feedback. If I copy and paste a picture in a message, it looks like I need to activate my MMS. However in the settings > messages, there is no option to turn a MMS SMS only. Am I missing something?

MMS is a feature cell phone carrier.  Your carrier allows to MMS on your plan?

I have an AT & T plan in the United States, and I still have settings > Messages > MMS messaging with iOS 10 as an option.

  • Cannot receive MMS specific contact group

I can send and receive SMS through Group MMS.  However, I have a particular contact that can receive messages via a MMS group, but I do not get one of his messages in the group.  We can as well send/receive individual iMessages to eachother perfectly.  I use an iPhone 6s, and my touch is the use of an iPhone 5 c. I checked to make sure that this contact is not blocked.  I thought that maybe it was a problem of carrier, but I recently changed property & t, sprint and iPhone 4s to a 6 s iPhone and this problem followed me across from media/devices.  I have this problem with a particular contact, and there seems to be a problem with my apple account.  This problem is happening constantly for more than a year. Any ideas what could be going wrong?

Your Apple account has nothing to do with sending MMS message, which is a feature of the carrier.

If you encounter a problem with an individual then maybe the problem is on their side, have what troubleshooting they done?

  • Where MMS on IPad?  (Not IPhone - what are there)

MMS is not in the same place as the IPhone on the IPad.  Does anyone know how to find so I can enable it?

There is no MMS setting on an iPad.  An iPad is unable to send SMS or MMS texts in native mode.  If you pair your iPhone with iOS continuity then you can send the iPad via the iPhone (see use of continuity to connect your iPhone, iPod touch and Mac - Apple Support ).  Only a cell phone in native mode can send text SMS/MMS messages.

CCan I backup to recover deleted and / mms only, the device I want to retrieve messages?

I don't know exactly what you're asking here. It seems to me that you deleted a few MMS, and you try to get back them. Is this correct? If so, then if you have a backup of the device that was made so that the MMS were still on the phone, then Yes, you could restore this backup unit to retrieve the MMS. However, understand that everything you've done since the backup was made will be removed.

  • No MMS messaging?

Can't find the settings for MMS messaging. And he will receive none. It didn't he? Sorry for this noobish question.

The open version ZTE does currently not support MMS. We are available in the updates MMS unit later. Please stay tuned for an update for the device.

  • No mms in message on ipad box

NO mms in message on ipad box

That is right. The iPad isn't compatible MMS, only iMessage.

If you have an iPhone, you can use continuity/transfer to access messages as long as both devices are on the same WiFi network.

Send a message to group with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support

You can only add a contact to a group message if everyone in the group uses an Apple that is ipad/iphone device...

cannot do if someone uses a non Apple as an Android device.

  • Are there limits the number of MMS or SMS recipients on a message?

I would like to know if there are limits the number of recipients that can be included in an MMS or SMS message. Seems that there may be a limit of 10 only.

Most carriers impose a limit on the number of recipients, SMS/MMS, as the carrier system is the processing of these texts.  AT & T, it is limited to up to 10 and I can see most of the other carriers are similar.

I don't know if there is an any limit on iMessage recipients well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thank you

Hey imragtop, since we talked for a long time. UPDATE: this morning MMS works as it should, images download without the slightest intervention on my part, I know not enough about the process, but I think it may have been a matter of Verizon here, we have had problems with the loss of weak signal 911, where they had always been strong, etc, you wonder if it is because of the update service available soon.

Thanks to all who responded, for now (as long as it continues to work properly) I'm sticking with this application, all of the features has all what I need right now.

  • Photo sharing Via MMS

I saw one or two mentions of this in the public forum as well:

When you try to share a picture by MMS, I'm not being invited to the required image resizing, and messages are apparently not sent accordingly.

"the maximum default size photo MMS has been bumped up to 1024K some time ago, and while the application SMS by default doesn't apparently have a way to change this, third-party messaging applications are" I want just a cookie! Laughing out loud
