• Windows 7 Image Backup - where can I find the previous image after new backup?

  My previous hard drive died, and I replaced it.

  Good news: I did a backup of the system before the death of completed HDD.  The image is under "WindowsImageBackup" folder on my external drive.

  Then I replaced the HARD drive, picked up at the factory reset.

  Before restoring the image backup, I took a step extra stupid: I thought that I should save its current state before as I have restore the previous state in case any thing wrong, so I started to sign--> system and security--> backup and restore--> backup now

  Bad news: the new backup image sub-folder of "WindowsImageBackup" even erased my previous image!  They have different timestamps, so different names, but the previous image has disappeared after a new creation.  In fact, I killed the new backup process immediately after that I was disappearing from the previous image.  He has not finished, but I can't find my previous image!

  BTW, there is a lot of space on my drive.  It is only 20% used!

  Are there ways I can retrieve my previous image?

  BTW, I use Windows 7 Home Premium.  By default, all parameters are as I do factory reset.

  With the publication of the description, I understand that you have accidentally deleted the system image backup file. I've certainly you will help answer your query.

  I wish to inform you that there is no way to get the previous system back image - which has already been replaced however, you can try a few steps to get the old image to the top, although there is no guarantee that it will work but still, you can try and see if it helps.

  First of all, I suggest you to rename the WindowsImageBackup to WindowsImageBackup. Old then follow the screenshot and select the option highlighted in yellow color select another backup to restore files of.

  The HDR image will be the DNG file, many have "-HDR" added file name. If you have your images sorted by file name, the HDR image should appear with other files that have been used. If you have your images sorted by "order has added" the HDR image will probably be at the end of the files in the folder. You can access the library mode and filter text were file name 'contains' HDR, and to show you the file.

  When I connect my camera to import new images, Lightroom can't on the camera.  So first I import it into windows and then I can use them in Lightroom.

  You must CC2015.5 Lightroom or newer to function with the 80 d EOS. The best is that you update to the latest version of LR and try again.

  LR version 5.4 and newer supports the raw files of the a6000.

  In your other thread you already said what is wrong - your destination to the right of the Import Panel is not what you intend, or if it is, LR is not allowed to write files to it.

  The error "cannot be read" means that LR has attempted to copy the files from the camera memory card into the destination folder then LR tried to import this destination folder and the files does not can be read because the first step, the copy failed.

  Updating to a newer version of LR LR 5.4 beyond will help the situation, you must always specify the correct destination, a folder that is writable.

  Your device is supported, but not in the Elements 9, which is too old.

  But the second link shows that items 9 works with the newer than 6.1.

  So, be upgraded to the current version 14, or at least Elements11,

  Or you use the free solution offered by Adobe in the faq above: the DNGconverter.

  This standalone program (not a plugin) can batch convert all of a folder of your raw files to DNG raw than your Elements 9 can read and modify.

  Greyed out on average images pictures have already been imported into Lightroom and so there is no point to re-import them. Just go in the library Module, find pictures and then use them.

  LR and ACR that exact same engine use. If you have LR, you don't really need to ACR. Why are you trying to go from LR to ACR?

  There is a way around to get there, but I guess this isn't really the answer to your question. BUT just in case it is, here is how you go LR ACR.

  In LR, click the Photo > edit in > open as smart object in Photoshop

  In PS, discovers the layers panel, where you can see the image with a smart object icon

  Double-click the layer and it will open the image in ACR

  All the settings slider to LR develop module will in ACR where you can make other adaptations

  PES 9 can use only upward for the plugin camera raw 6.5 and the nikon D5300 requires at least 8.3 camera raw plugin.
