• Request for Mobile Nav Menu - need to do a vertical accordion menu which contains the elements of vertical menu AND the submenu vertical.

  For a mobile site, I need to do a master vertical [menu] tab in the header of each page that has the following simple qualities.

  (1) all of the menu must be an Accordion widget (or something similar) which can be closed up in the upper part of the screen

  (2) the menu items should be placed vertically (obviously)

  (3) the SUB menu items should also be arranged vertically (for some reason any they out horizontally to the right why cannot they just fall down)

  ---

  I tried to put accordion widgets inside other widgets accordions, but so far, it doesn't look like Muse is what allows this.

  Help, please! I feel like I ask is really very simple!

• Search in the Nav Menu icon... set?

  Hi people,

  Have a bit of trouble finding the right css to change to get this magnifying glass icon search to appear in the middle of the Nav menu bar rather than at the top.

  I tried to change the position of the background image, padding, margin, etc. no effect... I tried the magnification of the picture, but it stops in the middle if I do that...

  I tried to change it in base.CSS here: https://Joden.worldsecuresystems.com/

  I am simply not find the right solution.  I can change it to element in Inspector but that does not translate to a known class...

  Currently the CSS for this search button link is rendered inline... so instead of you be able to change the CSS class you must change the attribute 'style' on the element A (link) itself.  I'm sure that your search icon is rendered with the menu somehow module even if I can't find how to add styles inline via the module menu right now, but there is an easy fix without messing with your menu module.

  Right now in your style.css file on line 557 add the following CSS to your "#nav one" selector:

  min-height: 16px;

  background-position: 50% 50%! important;

  If you add CSS to your "#nav one" rule, you should be all set.  What's happening is it's inline CSS setting the background position to "initial initial ' and if you are not using the"! " important"declaration in your CSS CSS online will be more specific and will replace your CSS for background-position in"#nav one ".

• NAV/menu hidden behind images bar

  I placed my nav/menu widget in my master page. I have several layers in each page that I want to have behind the nev/menu bar so I can still use it. Muse does not appear to let me push back behind the navigation bar images. My photos are currently covering the navigation bar, so it cannot be used. Help! Thank you.

  With the release of 4.0 Muse, today, master page elements can now layer in front of content in these pages, whose captain has been applied. Order Master page content again select elements on the master page, right click and select 'Move to the first master plan' or 'Move to bottom of master' in the context menu. You can also select items in the master page, and then select object > in the background or foreground through the menu of the application of Muse. All the items in the plan pages masters 'Move to Master' game will appear on top of all the elements of the Page.

• Beginner question: UL Nav Menu and text

  OK, I appreciate the input in advance.  Even if I use one book Dreamweaver and online tools like Lynda.com... There are a few questions that I have not found the answer too, or don't know how to phrase my question correctly in a browser search to find the right answer...

  So, my question:

  I used the Spry which are great, but I took the time to learn how to create a Pull Down Menu of a non ordered list and CSS Nav.

  This UL is driven by text in the list... so what to do if you want to create a type of unsorted list Nav menu drop down, but to use only background for the menu nav graphics (i.e. the text is already anchored in the graph from Photoshop or the graph has no text and is just a chart).  Whenever I completely remove the text of a list item, that do list element disappears, which makes sense, but the question of how to create a Nav Menu with only the graphics that will crumble in several levels?

  Is what I ask not a real standard practice and I shouldn't do that?

  If there was a menu of level one, I know that I could use floated just the DIV tags, but since I pull down I don't see how it works in a nested multiple Nav drop-down Menu.

  Again, sorry for the noob question... and I thank you in advance for your answers.

It's a perfectly acceptable list item.  And it would be how you do these menus...

If there was a menu of level one, I know that I could use floated just the DIV tags

No need of div not tags, really.  Just floating images and pile them up with margins.

• Hamburger nav menu changes in breakpoints of Muse

  Hello. I'm working my way through "sensitive" Muse tutorial vids I started creating a site using the menu generally at various breakpoints. I have modified the presentation of the Navigation drop-down menu and changed to smartphone and mobile breakpoints but am finding continue to apply changes to all breakpoints, I generally menu in.

  What I'm doing wrong or not doing it please?

  Paul,

  You need hide main menu in other breakpoints, you can breakpoint, by right clicking desktop and then select "Hide on all other breakpoints.

  You will have to perhaps create individual menus for each breakpoint and hide them in other breakpoints.  I had to do in the past with responsiveness.

• Lightbox2022.js and Foundation 6 nav menu are not a perfect match

  On my Web page, I use the standard module_gallery of BC with the effect of the light box. For this module to work with the liquid of the js file must be manually placed on the page.  It's the lightbox2022.js (it is through < script > etc.)

  I use 6 Foundation as my framework.

  dependencies:

  'jquery': ' ~ 2.2.0.

  'what input': ' ~ 2.0.0.

  When the web page has made and you want to click in the menu nav navigation menu all disappear. The menu is also "mounted" with the dynamic menu (liquid).

  A test, I left out the lightbox2022.js, and the menu nav works. The effect of the light box is not applied.

  One the same problems in collaboration with F6 and the lightbox? Or is there a more recent js.script for the device of light therapy to work?

  Neither will help you.

  Something is built in a way, something in another that supports the compatibility mode for jQuery. Just like you have two different plugins for jQuery for a site and they are in conflict.

• You can create a sticky Nav Menu that cancels pinning when you scroll?

  I was wondering if you can give me a little advice? I saw this great effect to http://theme.co/x/ where appears the menu nav pinned to the bottom of the browser window until the page scrolls, no matter what size the window is. You know off the top of your head if this effect can be achieved by Muse? Thank you in advance. Dan

• NAV Menu and submenu

  Help all,

  I created 2 menus. Main menu of nav and a sub menu just below. I want so much to set on top. Sense when the user makes a scrolling to the bottom of the page, both menus do not move. I created a PHP include to the main nav so I can't include the submenu in that since the submenu is for only 1 page and not others.

  So, how can I have both the main and sub-menu NAV stay on top and does not scroll as well as other content on the page.

  Without seeing your page online, I can only assume you are using Bootstrap & default affix on the top navigation bar.  Having more of a sticky top navigation bar does not work very well.  It would be cleaner if you embed your submenu in the existing NAV top of the page.  Or put your submenu in a vertical side bar that snaps at the top during the scrolling page.

• Help mobile flyout menu, please

  I'm trying to figure out how to do a drop down that is similar to the way in which Gmail iPhone and Android app works.  It's very simple: it is the icon of menu typical mobile at the top.  When this icon is struck, the slides of current page right about 75 percent of the way, revealing a menu below.  The menu scrolls / slide up and down to display more choices that can display a screen.  When a menu choice is typed, the page who slipped away to the right slides in position with the newly selected page.  There is no submenus, just a long list of menu items.

  I have attached a picture to show this.

  I sure would appreciate some help on how to do this.  I searched and seen some tutorials, but can't get enough.  I'd be happy to buy a widget that does this.

• phone view: mobile nav options?

  I start on a new site for a client and wonder about a better nav solution then the Panel - accordion
  I would like at least to shut up when he goes to the next page rather then stay open. That's what I'm Anita Adamski Design

  and I wonder if there are other solutions for the nav phone menus.

  Personally, I would use the 'Tooltip' widget there instead of the accordion. Set your shutter release button, and in the target simply add a regular menu of Muse. In this way, that you don't have to update the accordion every time that you add or remove a page.

• Mobile Nav links work do not

  I am creating an updated version of reactive my website using Dreamweaver CC and can't seem to get the NAV working on the mobile version - it allows me to select one of the options, but that option won't "click" through and take me to this page - and if I stay on the original page.   Here is a link below, plus my code navigation of the "mobilenav" - ideas or suggestions much appreciated!

  It certainly seems that I have not implemented properly... like the formatting of the site changed and the background color has invaded the text box.

  This might be partly my fault for missing off the coast of the closing tag when initially replying BUT I have quickly changed-but of course, you seized the code until I did.

  The closing tag is missing (marked in red below): put this in and see what happens.

• Nav Menu links open new tabs - Home Page

  Since the upgrade to Muse 3.2 (mac) I find that the initial load of my sites homepage, all menu links open in a new tab. Once in this tab, all items in nav works as expected. I tried to look for a solution, I found a suggestion "somewhat related" indicating that the problem might be that Muse still thinks one of my pages contains a submenu. The solution was to add in another higher level page, and then remove it. I have done this and have not solved this problem. Giving to the group for a possible solution.

• NAV menu appearing in the center of the page

  I need help. Im a graphic designer by trade - but a friend who has a crazy web shop has been left in the lurch by her web guy and asked me to look at the problem. The left aisle of his shop window appeared in the center of the page instead of the left menu.
