Model & gt; Optional region - BODY tag

Hello

Is it possible to do an optional area inside the BODY tag?

I want to put following line inside the body tag (but not on all pages!):
"OnLoad =" load() "onunload =" GUnload () '... (code for Google Maps).

I tried to insert the optional region but DW does not seem to accept it... y at - it another way around?

Model Dreamweaver is still blocking the body tag?

I use a DW template with an editable and it blocks the body tag. I can't address the body with a div or class tag.
Y at - it a possibility to use a model that does not block the body tag?

First, you must define an editable tag attribute in your model for thetag. Later, you will need change this attribute on the child pages.

Models of Dreamweaver and optional region?

Hi guys,.
Ive created a layout in three columns, with the div names left_column, Center right_column. I made the model in a model, and my left column and the Center are editable regions. However, my right column is an editable optional region.
My Web site will contain aprximately two types of pages, one with a right column and the other without.
So what I would like to, I would like to do is by rightcolumn is off, I want the content of the Center div (text, images no matter) to flow through the page, i.e. on the right column if it is not used to display anything. Can anyone advise me if this is the way to do it, because I'm just going around in circles.
Also how do you spend on and off optional regions? I expect to change true to false value of <!-InstanceParam name = 'good' type = 'boolean' value = 'false'->, but when I go in the design view sound still there. Any help would be appreciated, p.s. what html editor is used on these maps, very sensitive sound?

You must do so through the model properties dialog box. Edit > properties of the model.

a default optional region is disabled, but appears on the model.
Im making a site from a template. I put a link to an additional CSS file as an optional region. When on the pages where I need the normal CSS substitute I access the properties of model and it lights, but the default is to make it off.

The problem is that even if the optional region is disabled by default, it seems to be on the template page. Is there a way to change this? Its important among the divs in the extra CSS have been set to display none, so I can't edit them!

Templates and editable regions < body >

I have a model for the site with all the div, as I would like.
If I area-editable regions, then where it says < body > in the template - it can be changed in a single page to say
< body onload = "DoThis (); ">
because as soon as you open the template, it is up to the page back to the < body > and the onload bit is lost.
I wanted to use templates to maintain consistency, but when you have problems with the editable regions all the time that I wonder if this is a feature implemented there to help or harm us.
I tried to put the tabs html in an editable area, but then the said model id had not.
Please how can I do the < body > tag editable in the various documents because I want this function to launch the load on one page only.
The only way around this would be to have an onload for each page and have only a function empty on the pages that is not required, but it's unprofessional.
I think that there is another thing like document.ready but don't know where to put it in the document, and if it is as effective.

Try this, you can use it in any region can be changed as thesection of the page.

Fixed an old issue that was originally double closing body tag, caused by Business Catalyst do not like the model Dreamweaver EditRegion tag. EditRegion4 Switched back to: {tag_pagecontent} corrected the problem. Now have the correct closing of the body.

Asymmetrical body tag error

I have the following code, saved as a .dwt file, which is a template file, but whenever I try to create a new page from it, it gives me error in my closing body tag, I checked the beginning of the tag and it seems fine to me please if someone can help me fix I would be really grateful reallt.

I've read about them in DW MX Templates by Brad Halstead and Fröhlich summers?

I'm not sure 100% what you ask, but yes:

-You can use several optional regions in a template.

-You can use if several sections addressing the same variable of model property

(You might even be able to nest an optional region in another option when using models, but I don't think I've ever tried...)

Optional region works for IE6

I have a model with three optional regions. Two of them appear together. The third argument will replace the first two for some pages. I tested it in FF, Opera, Netscape, Camino, Mozilla (most of them for PC and Mac) and the work of optional regions perfectly. When I tested it in IE6 for PC, optional regions operate partially. I hide two of the regions and show a, but the space where were two hidden areas is not satisfactory in the visible region, but the page gets all messed.
Could you please advice?

Code of hinding with optional regions
I get an error message:

I know not why, it's because I use: onload = "body" load() onunload ="GUnload ()" > in the line: "

This will display a google map on my 'Location' page, but it's the only place where I need this code and where the plan does not exist (all other pages) I get the error.

Is it possible to hide the part of this code in my template?

I tried to have both versions of the line with or without the card code in "Optional regions" but not luck.
Expert advice greatly appreciated.

Editable & quot; OnLoad & quot; in the body tag
I have a site based on a template, but I would like to add my own Javascript function calls to the attribute 'onload' of the 'body' tag on some pages. I know that this can be done by setting 'onload' as an 'editable attribute"in the model.

However, I have also a few 3rd - party, as PopMenuMagic of P7 extensions, which act by changing "onload" in the body of the template tag. I think that by setting this as editable attribute, I will then prevent changes to the model of these extensions of reproducing the pages based on the template.

Is there a way around this conundrum?

Give your #container background #fff (white) and a padding-about 200 px background color.

The padding-bottom generates a white background for the 3 labels and footer.

My example shows the problem on a green background.
