  If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. • Application of model names naming standards does not (consistantly)

  I'm trying to understand the logical steps the application of naming standards to the columns in the paintings.  I say this because sometimes it does; but most of the time it isn't.  I noticed this strange behavior last night as he tried to apply my criteria for assignment of personal names but, for the life of me, couldn't understand the logical steps to do.

  I have my own standards of naming template as shown here, which are the ones I want to apply:

  

  Now, for example, I create a new table called customary ADDRESS with the columns and data types.  For the primary key, I ADDRESS_ID , and in order to exercise, I put in the CITY, STATE and zip_code "Mandatory" (or NOT NULL).

  When you go down (or double-click) on ADDRESS_ID or zip_code to display the properties for these columns, you will notice that the 'constraint name', 'Not Null Constraint name' are all empty - as it should.

  

  When I returned to the table properties dialog box and click naming rules, another dialog box appears allowing me to select which specific naming rule, I would like to apply.  I keep all selected one, click OK.  However, when I now explore the ADDRESS_ID, CITY, STATE or ZIP CODE, there is no constraint names based on my model - at least not immediately apply (for some reason any).

  As a work around for me, if I pointed out, say, zip_code, click on the naming rules , and then click OK, then click apply and again double-click zip_code, constraint name would eventually appear.  However, it is never uniform.

  

  The zip_code with the not Null constraint name column has finally appeared.

  

  We should also not the standard naming PK never applied at all.

  Why it does not work - is this a bug?

  What I am doing wrong?

  Is there another way to do this?

• FWD entity engineering of relational model name changes?

  I changed a name of entity in my logical model after generating a relational model. But I can't understand how having SDDM (3.0.0.665) to propagate this change to the relational model.
  
  In the screen of the engineer to the relational model, if I select the entity changed tree, in the details pane, there is a checkbox next to the Name property (this line indicates the gap between relational and logical name) "Selected" but I can't check it out. Comparison/copy in this same dialog box Options tab, the checkbox next to name is enabled. But, when I send an engineer the name is not changed.

  After changing the name of the entity, select the relational model engineer
  Down at the bottom, select the tab General options.
  Select apply the translation of names
  Engineer

  Now the name will change in the relational model.

  What happened with the label 'white' on the main model of slides? This can be changed? Is there a reason it's called white? If have tried to change the name, inserting text in the name field, but it modifies the jut white - foo. I also tried cha ging the name of the image in the library.  It seems very strange to me.

  Hi Lori,

  'White' is the name of the theme associated with the project.when that you apply a new theme to your project, it turns into this theme name. To have a custom to your theme name, you can also save the theme for this name and apply it to the project.

  I have a guy here for emergency! I have more than 2000 model files in a library. These models are all labeled with the same names I want my layers to have. I'll make a new layer for each design for a total of 2000 layers. layers of 2000 is way more layers, then I want to name by hand, so if I can run a script to give the layers the same name as the model they are packed with it would help enormously.

  Using trial and error with the Oracle-Jena adapter, I think having discovered an upper limit of 25 characters on the length of the names of model RDF Oracle lets you create. Can someone check it for me? If so, I'm curious to know why 25 was chosen. Is this an arbitrary length chosen in the Java code, or is it a restriction imposed by the database itself? This length is hardcoded or is it configurable somehow?

  It is imposed by the database. It is not configurable. Database is limited to 30 bytes. Internally, we need to use a few bytes ourselves (as the suffix etc.). If you see 25.

This virus seems like it has intelligence.

  What about first formatting the entire HARD disk, then use the Toshiba Recovery CD.

  I don t think that the virus has changed something in the DMI and changed the model number of the laptop.
