Application of model names naming standards does not (consistantly)

I'm trying to understand the logical steps the application of naming standards to the columns in the paintings.  I say this because sometimes it does; but most of the time it isn't.  I noticed this strange behavior last night as he tried to apply my criteria for assignment of personal names but, for the life of me, couldn't understand the logical steps to do.

I have my own standards of naming template as shown here, which are the ones I want to apply:

Naming Standard Template.jpg

Now, for example, I create a new table called customary ADDRESS with the columns and data types.  For the primary key, I ADDRESS_ID , and in order to exercise, I put in the CITY, STATE and zip_code "Mandatory" (or NOT NULL).

When you go down (or double-click) on ADDRESS_ID or zip_code to display the properties for these columns, you will notice that the 'constraint name', 'Not Null Constraint name' are all empty - as it should.

Address Properties.jpg

When I returned to the table properties dialog box and click naming rules, another dialog box appears allowing me to select which specific naming rule, I would like to apply.  I keep all selected one, click OK.  However, when I now explore the ADDRESS_ID, CITY, STATE or ZIP CODE, there is no constraint names based on my model - at least not immediately apply (for some reason any).

As a work around for me, if I pointed out, say, zip_code, click on the naming rules , and then click OK, then click apply and again double-click zip_code, constraint name would eventually appear.  However, it is never uniform.

Address Properties_w_Name_Rules.jpg

The zip_code with the not Null constraint name column has finally appeared.

Column_w_Name_Rules_Applied.jpg

We should also not the standard naming PK never applied at all.

Why it does not work - is this a bug?

What I am doing wrong?

Is there another way to do this?

Hello

Thanks for the report detailed the constraint not null not defined by the standard naming Wizard. I logged a bug.

  • Index naming standards does not and unique constraints

I found yet another question of naming standards

I have tried to create a unique constraint as a normal index via the unique constraints and indexes in Properties of Table with the assumption that it will use the design properties of models.  This isn't.

    Naming Standard Template.jpg

As noted in the image of the model above, my Unique constraint model is {table} _ {columns} lancement_remarques

and my model of Index idx _ {columns} {table}.  Yet, when I try to create the Unique constraint, it creates the naming convention in names like CUSTOMER_ADDRESS__UK (2 lines of underscore?) as shown below.

    Table_Props_Unique_Constraint.jpg

My assumption is that he needed a column, so I added the column and also applied the rules naming - nothing.

    Table_Props_Unique_Constraint_w_Column.jpg

Is my wrong assumption on these constraints being appointed through the models?  If this is not the case, what naming rules is in this context?

The same behavior is evident when you try to create index.

I get not all comments on my posts.  Are these bugs or just user error?

    Hello

Thank you to report the problem, I logged a bug. You can get 'Rules of naming' works properly if you press the button 'Apply' before that.

I get not all comments on my posts.

I don't think that anyone (or any job) has been ignored on this forum. Depending on the complexity of the problem and our current commitment (other urgent tasks, holidays, time zone), you can get answer almost immediately or after a certain time.

It is useful for us, if you mark your messages as replied if you get the right answer.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

Once iTunes to work properly, you should be able to fix your device.

I can't connect to my user account name, and it does not accept my password.

    Hi Jillgatewood,

You did a recovery password file? You can use it to reset your password. Unfortunately if you have lost or forgotten your password, you will need to consult this article KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/189126/en-gb

  • Account name My Vista "a name of the user [name] account log does not exist on Windows Home Server" is not, despite the change.

My Windows Home Server (WHS) prefer the same name of user account on all computers that I use - for the connection and easier access to the files. So to my Vista computer, I changed my account [ancien_nom] name [name]. Vista indicates the name of the new account everywhere but the server after a while (!) stopped recognizing my account and complains about "a name of the user [name] account log does not exist on Windows Home Server" suggesting I should change the name of the account on the ESM. Since I have other computers where I can't change the name of the account (work computer), for this purpose I changed the name of the account on my Vista computer.

The reason why the WHS could work properly at the beginning maybe I can connect to the WHS folders in a separate process by using the new account name. Choose to save the password - which might have worked for a while, but no more. I also tried to connect as a network device, but I do not correctly reconnect with the identification information data (and saved).

1 is the name of initial account stored anywhere even if I changed and the reason why it can pop as in this case?

    2. any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    3. or is the problem only on the side WHS - then I might have to turn to a WHS forum

Now that you have a template file, you can create a page by using the template file. Have a look here http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Dreamweaver/10.0_Using/WSc78c5058ca073340dcda9110b1f693f21-7ef da.html.

Once you have created the page, you can export as XML.

Standard does not yet work. You can open the Task Manager, run Adobe 9 and the acrobat.exe process runs for a few seconds, then disappears.

He is still able to print PDF files, but when they have finished printing, open them in drive X.

We tried the uninstall/reinstall, delete key/temp items registry. Nothing seems to help.

    Any ideas?

Remove the following 2 files in this folder:

    1: wep.api

    2: webcheck.hlp

These aren't the standard Acrobat plugins. Remove them and try to launch Acrobat again.

From what I can find are a few very old 3rd party acrobat plugins

  • With Firefox 9.0.1 an application using a JavaScript confirm command does not display the message. Blocker is disabled for the domain of the application.

Application is written in php and javascript. Clicking a button triggers a javascript confirm dialogue. Since upgrading to Firefox 9.0.1 confirmation dialog box does not appear. Trainer first set to allow the full domain of the application, then off altogether. JavaScript is enabled.

It turns out that Firefox has become a little more picky about the standards that IE. (Imagine that!) Code created the entries of type = 'text' hidden, then calls a javascript function and the values passed in the entries hidden as parameters. The original code just pass the name of the entry as a variable. Then, the Firefox console complained that the variable was not declared. Once I spent the variable.value, then the error disappeared, Firefox has been happy, does not break IE, so I'm happy.

    Hi all

I am trying to deploy a simple plan with only one virtual machine, but it does not advance the delivery task. The virtual computer is deployed and applied function of "Customization Specification" because it takes the host name and IP. I tried with two models of VM, SLES11SP2 64-bit and 64-bit RHEL58. The model installed vSphere Agent and it is running.

If I deploy the same vCAC VM directly, it works.

    Best regards

    Jose Luis Gomez

Hello Jose Luis Gomez, I quote a comment of a member of the team of Application Director, Rakesh Sinha.

"... The issue is with the model itself, looks like the model is not properly prepared. »

Here are a few recommendations for you.

    1. follow the user guide to create the virtual machine template. The following link is the User Guide for Application Manager 6.0 on how to "Prepare vCenter Server Linux models of virtual machines". http://pubs.VMware.com/AppDirector-6/index.jsp#com.VMware.appdirector6.using.doc/GUID-659B901A-0071-43E5-9FBE-D1BB4EA8725F.html

    2. If you think that you have created the virtual machine correctly, please post here the following information.

-On the deployed virtual computer, what are the files and directories under/opt/vmware-appdirector / and/opt/vmware-appdirector/agent?

-Send the log in/opt/vmware-appdirector/agent/logs file, if applicable.

    Thank you!

  • By clicking on the application of the bar of tasks does not work correctly

The taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

If I hover over an open program (for example Live Mail), it appears like normal.
However, if I click on it to bring it to use, it does not appear.

    This just started happening.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Hello

Can you tell us which laptop model you have and what operating system are you using?
Have you noticed this problem with some or every single application that you can start from the taskbar?

  • Applications in the games and accessories does not open.

When I click with the right button on the program, say the painting and choose Properties, she says, they are located in the System32 folder, but they will not even open when I click on them directly. I think that is why my last Windows Update will not install, because this is a security fix for the painting.

    Hello

    1. don't you make changes on the computer before the issue started?
    2. this happens with all applications that are located in the games and accessories?
3 have you tried to launch the program from its target location?

First try to open the program from its location of the target. To know the location of the target and the name of the program, right click on the program item in the start menu, and then click Properties.
By default, the target location is % windir%\System32.

Try these steps and check the result.
Step 1: Turn off non-Microsoft programs, and then try to open the start menu applications.
Follow step 1 to perform a clean boot to disable all non-Microsoft programs: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
If the problem does not persist in the boot, it means that some programs non-Microsoft is causing this issue. To find out which program is the cause, try step 2 to step 6 to find the culprit: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
NOTE: Follow step 7 to start the computer in normal mode: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Step 2: Sfc scanner to fix corrupted system files.
    1. open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.
For more information, see this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

    I hope this helps.
Post back with the results, so that we can help you further.

    Kind regards
    Syed

  • named anchor does not

    Windows 7

    DW CS6

I created a site in dremaweaver CS6 using a template (.dwt). There is a horizontal Spry menu, with a fall to the low "submenus" (I don't know if it's the correct term).

Main menu link entries to the relevant pages, not a problem, but I also want the submenu items link to specifc places on other pages, for example this (in the template)

    "< li > < a class ="MenuBarItemSubmenu"href ="... / photoshop.html "> < /a > Photoshop"

    < ul >

    < li > < a href = "photoshop.html" > < /li > < /a > clipping mask ""

    < li > < a href = "photoshop.html" > Content Aware Fill < /a > < /li > ""

    < li > < a href = "photoshop.html" > color and pattern replacement < /a > < /li > ""

    < li > < a href = "photoshop.html" > shadow < /a > < /li > ""

    < li > < a href = "photoshop.html" > Spot Healing < /a > < /li > ""

    < li > < a href = "photoshop.html #vanishing" > < /a > Vanishing Point < /li > ""

    < /ul >

    < /li >

to link to this (a caption under the image)

    < div class = "block" > < a href = "images/vanishing_point_box.jpg" > < img src = images/t_vanishing_point_box.jpg"' alt = 'a clear Red box with a lid' title = 'a clear Red box with a lid' > < / has > " < class p = "caption" > < an id = "vanishing" > a simple red box with a lid < /a > < /p > < / div >

but it simply doesn't. By clicking on the element of Vanishing Point in the drop Photoshop just takes me to the top of the photoshop.page.

I tried initially doing so using Insert > named anchor & insert > hyperlink & when it does not work I tried to enter the code manually, but nothing seems to work. I tried to change id = 'leak' to name = "vanishing" after reading around online... still does not

I tried to do as much text on a single page to the text on another and it works fine, so I think the problem is either because I'm trying to link a menu item or a list, or because the target is a series of divs nested... maybe there is a limit to how many levels of nesting that is going to work. I may be completely wrong here, so any help would be appreciated.

I see no way to attach files here, but if anyone thinks it would be useful to include the complete code for each file (2.45 KB & 6.46 KB) I can do.

    TIA

ID is unique to the page & can be used only once.

    I used HTML5

tag in my example.  But an ID can be applied to any block-level element - for example. div, section, header, footer page, li, p, h1, h2, h3, etc...

    Class = 'block' >

    vanishing point

A simple red box with a lid

  • Manager of the standard does not come to the top

    Hello

The standard Manager is not coming and the standard Manager log file front end indicates the last date transformed as far behind.

Where, as the internal Manager newspaper shows the error below.

Could not contact Service Manager FNDSM_ < host name > _ < sid >. The TNS alias could not be located, the process of listening to < host name > could not be cont

acted, or the listener cannot generate the process from the Service Manager.

And when we ping for the alias, it's ping.

Following are the measures taken until now

    (1) made with relative to the creation of the files of library and reissue of links such as FNDSM and FNDLIBR executables using adrelink.sh

    (2) autoconfig Ran that isn't a problem.

    (3) check the entries in the AMT that is absolutely perfect and listener is running as well.

    Thank you

    Hi all

Thank you for being so patient to help

Here's the thing that was wrong, someone has included a program in the standard Manager that actually does not from the point of time which is included.

As soon as I excluded from the program, standard handler started working?

    Thank you

  • Help, my Acrobat 7.0 standard does not open, "plug-in failed to initialize" can anyone help?

Hi everyone, im really stuck and not too well with all the stuff of tec. My Acrobat 7.0 standard has been working very well for a few years and studdently over the weekend, it does not open and gives me the followig error:

"There was an error while loading the plug-in 'updater.api". the plug-in failed to initialize. "

Anyone know of any solution to this problem? I could uninstall and reiatall or y at - it an easier way? Apparently although I said 500USD for the product, there is no support available on the phone unless I'm updating so Im at a dead end.

Any help would be accepted greathfully.

    Thanks for listening

    Ciara

You can find that acrobat listed in the Add/Remove programs (different name with Win7) in Control Panel. If so, then try the repair from there. I'm assuming that since you said that it does not open, you do not open simply by double clicking on a PDF file. If I'm wrong, then just try to open Acrobat menu programs.

Also, you say AA 7.0. There are updates via AA 7.1.4. It is generally wise to update the program to the latest version, or at least in the initial version of 7.0. Many bugs have been fixed in the first place and these latest updates are usually to plug the security holes that have developed. You can try to update to 7.1.0 in the Help menu. Each after that you may need to download Adobe > downloads. In this case, install them all after your current version in the order. Download site patches are not cumulative and must be installed in the order.
