• V4.1.1.887 Data Modeler - 8 opens and displays only the areas of my design of the file

  Yesterday I was working in my design of the database with data v4.1.1.887 maker and then saved work in file and closed the application.

  After some research and testing, I finally solved the problem. I did the following:

  I deleted the text value from my memory of java in the java Control Panel of windows,

  I deleted the 4.1.1. C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\datamodeler\4.1.1 carpet

  I changed the memory to-Xmx2048m in datamodeler.conf in the datamodeler\datamodeler\bin folder

  then tried to start the Data Modeler but never value began, then reduced to-Xmx1024m and he began

  and not migrated preferences the next time I opened the Data Modeler and set preferences with utf-8 (I noticed it comes by default with coding cirillic)

  I closed and restarted datamodeler the external newspaper and made settings worked very well.

  I checked the Objects.local file and it's there. then I closed the design without saving changes and ended Datamodeler application.

  Then I opened the Objects.local with Notepad ++ and I found and structure XML and the data that I wrote in my family business contact section has disappeared from the design

  I restarted Datamodeler opened and closed my recent design and that article accompanied by white, the datamodeler clos

  The best way to do what you ask is with the widget of Composition. Start with the ToolTip predefined, which by default displays the info on working capital. You can change the display option to click, which is what you are looking for. You can also add the close button or the info disappear in slowing.

• HPCM error - definition model has changed since the last calculation

  I have a bit of a problem on an application Coordinator.
  
  (1) message warning when I go to balancing-> "model has changed since the last calculation."
  (2) message when I select cube considered in balancing-> 'the database has not been updated with the latest results of calculation."
  
  What has been done before I got to this point:
  
  (1) add a few lev 0 members in the current hierarchy for cost center
  (2) run a comparison to check if they are picked up (OK!)
  3) deploy EPMA (result: SUCCESSFUL message)
  4) go to HPCM and deploy the two cubes (OK-> at least is what the status of the job)
  (5) control of new members in OTL (OK! they are there)
  (6) the HPCM Calc launch, check the box to erase all data of calc prev, check the box to regenerate calcs, check the box to transfer data to the reporting cube.
  result: employment status: OK!
  
  But in reality: never got transferred through to the reporting cube.
  
  I repeated steps 1 through 6, a few times, I even changed something in the (alias) shared library to check if it went through.
  In EPMA it says that the app is 'in sync with the deployment. And when I run a comparison with deployed application, it does not pick up anything.

  Hello world

  Just realised I never came back with the answer to my question. I was developing the new application and starts the compilation of the Calc sequentially, so while I was developing Calc for step 2 or 3, rebuild only those scripts are calculate only the specific areas. This is the reason why I received this message. As soon as I transferred both apps and recalculated at the beginning, the error message disappeared.
  Just in case someone wondered.

• Differentiate the tables changes and no changes do not

  I am relatively new on (I've always been a sort of paper/felt for Whiteboard guy) formal data modeling tools.
  
  On my question/Scenario:
  
  I have a warehouse of data with a few hundred tables inside. When changes are made to the data warehouse, we're supposed to present an ER diagram preferably with tables in one color, tables be changed to a different color and the tables does not change does not to another more neutral color.
  
  Here is my current process
  
  (1) import of relevant existing tables in the data dictionary
  (2) create tables or change existing tables
  (3) change the type of array for the modified tables and dimension for new tables. The existing tables, I leave it as what.
  
  Success with this process generates a diagram that fits my purposes, but I have a hunch that I'm not using better methodology. What is a better way to do this using the oracle sql data model (version 3)

  What you certainly works, but a better approach would be to define new types of classification rather than use the Dimension or fact.

  Then go here:
  Tools-> preferences-> data-> diagram maker-> Types of Classification.

  Press the Green plus sign to add a new type.
  Add two new types: new and changed and assign each a unique color.
  Press 'OK' to save.

  Now, when you go back to the diagram, you will have two new types from.

  Hi Slf@LF,

  Numbers and pages are trying to be smart and recognize wht kind of data that you enter. If you enter something that resembles a date they will treat it as such. Some people have problems with serial numbers because programs to format their numbers and not text.

  View the data that you are trying to enter and how it's changed and we ca probably to understand what is happening to her.

• All my settings have changed and all cookie exceptions are deleted

  I generally work with disabled cookies (do not allow web sites to store cookies). I then manually allow selected sites to do so.

  Recently, I tried to add a site to the exceptions list only to find out that good number of my settings were changed and all my exceptions have been removed.

  I do not did it intentionally. The only thing I can think is that I allowed FF upgrade to 36.0. I think it was a few weeks ago.

  How can I get the list of exceptions in the cookie back? There was at least 100, perhaps much more. I have no way of knowing which they were all.

  How can I avoid this happening again?

• Firefox 22 changed and locked Windows 7 title bar (big and bold)

  Don't know why the decision was made to map the Windows settings, but upgrading to FF22 FF21 has also changed and blocked my settings of fonts Windows 7 toolbar (active and inactive). Now, they are big and fat. While I can change the color, I can't change the font, the size of the police, or unbold (stays "BOLD" independently "B" highlighted or not).

  Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but it just made my ugly windows.

  See the image. Color is changed, but the police are not a size 6 and it's also when "BOLD" should not be.

  You can't really change the entries in regedit because they are data hex values. But this (after hours) to solve my problem.

• Add, change and delete the file "iTunes" on a NAS

  The title probably sums up what I'm trying to do. I'm looking for a way to add, change, and delete files on a NAS.

  Hardware: MacBook Pro 15, 1 TB of storage, 16 GB memory, OSX El Capitan.

  NAS: Qnap TS - 453 has: storage nominally 16 TB, up to about 5 TB.  4 WD 4TB disks in a RAID 5 configuration.

  (1) NAS' iTunes folder is not really true Apple iTunes and

  I'm not looking for something that would synchronize the files iTunes NAS to one of my computers, I am all prepared to do myself if necessary.

  If I can't find an application so I use the app 'Brute Force' change my Mac iTunes required records and download again to my NAS.

  Why do you need an app to put the files in a folder on the NAS Server?  Make them just above in the Finder.  Maybe I'm missing just your problematic here.  Do you mean add your PEMA files to iTunes? I've never used this file format, but kind of, I would be very surprised if iTunes supported it.

  I don't understand what you're trying to say here.  "Apple iTunes" is an application. Yes, a folder is not an application.

  Be warned, we see not few messages from people that use iTunes with a NAS. Often the problems cannot be explained. sometimes just iTunes and NAS disagree togther.
