  Hi - I have two groups in a report for different SQL and two formulas for each group, CF_ELE_CNT and CF_ELE_CNT1. In the model that I used the code to print a section below or not.

  The problem is when no data in the second group it was created not the tag XML for CF_ELE_CNT1, if CF_ELE_CNT has 13, it does not always print this partucular article. If I remove the CF_ELE_CNT1 in the State, it works fine. I was wondering how to handle this.

  In the user interface, I give all the data of three fields with refcursor. now in HQ DB happening all the values to be updated at the same time.
  (Q) now my question is how to update all values.
  For example: create procedure procdname (ip_allvalues in typerecord)

  end;
  
  the procedure input parameter above can manage all data from three fields as they pass.
  (1) if the parameter handle, should what kind I create?
  (2) I need how can I update multiple records at once?

  Why do you need to update all records at once? And what is blocking you implements a loop on the user interface which, for each changed row, submits an update of the DB? Note that you will get no improvement with a bulk operation when entering comes from a user interface.

  Use the date_to_displaydate function in the view to convert dates in order to correct the format for the user to see. Read the date excel string and convert it back to date using the displaydate_to_date function. In this way the model will work with any format mask that is defined.

  I managed to create a service application web Manager restful using GET for the Restful service module. I am able to get the data in row on the presentation of a table row id in the application. But I can't find an appropriate example, how the new data in the table can be posted or deleted. I created a POST handler for a URI scheme and look forward on how to proceed. Any help would be really appreciated.

  My question is:

  How can I retrieve the value of the source field of a web - app data-types when you insert the "form web search apps" on a web page.

  By chance, I came up with this workaround. Of course there are other methods to get your data from a web - app, but if you want to use the 'Web apps search form', it would be a workaround.

  I noticed that the "Web apps entry form" contains all the fields of web applications for your web application (including the fields of the data source).

  It is possible to add the fields to the form of the "Web apps entry form" in the «Web apps search form»

  If you insert the "Web apps entry form" on a blank page, you will see all the fields in your web App including the "data source fields. The names of form fields contain something like.

  "

  If you copy the form field desired (containing the "CAT_Custom_number"), you can paste it on the page in the form where the "web app search form" is inserted.

  In short:

  1. Add the "Web apps entry form" form on the blank page

  2. Select & copy the form fields that contains the 'web app data source field' and its value

  In my application, I have two regions - region report (interactive report) and other is region HTML with text elements two - Empno and name
  
  My report has two columns Empno (varchar2) and Ename (varchar2).
  
  When I click on the link change in the column of the report, the empno should be a read-only value EMPNO and ename is a text with the value of the ENAME field.
  
  When I run my application, I have encountered the following problems:
  1. If my empno has special characters such as "#", the characters after that is not posting
  2. If my empno has special characters such as "," characters after the decimal point is considered to be a value of next texitem

  Do not pass the data values in the URL. If it is possible to escape values to make URL - and APEX parameter-safe, it is much better to avoid the problem completely.

  Create a primary key of the substitution on the table which is an immutable discreet digital identifier and use it only as a URL parameter. In pages/target areas, use this value of PK to extract the data from the table.

• How many users can simultaneously Apex handle?

  I'm just evaluating Apex at this stage. Can Apex handle thousands of concurrent users? I know the answer should be dependent on what the app was, what were users, how well the app was built... but there is probably still something basically answer the question (I hope). The application is more or less an accounting software package order, with some users to enter data and other reports view, etc..
  
  How much difference would use XE vs one of the full oracle dbs do? The specific application that I think would be deployed in a society where Oracle is the standard database, but I am curious about the ability of the XE to welcome many users also.

  You can do this with the help of dynamic action. You need to get the value of the column of a line click in IR (using jQuery) and set the value to the elements which, in turn, can be used as a filter to other reports on the same page.

  This dynamic action update your IR region

  And your IR region would have an appropriate where clause, with "Page to go" set on your radio.

  'GROUP BY summary' means that you will get a line of output for each distinct value of the summary. He has no need of SELECT DISTINCT since the GROUP BY is already ensuring that the lines are separate.

  There is no variable binding DATE in SQL * Plus, so you must use a VARCHAR2.
  If you do something similar in PL/SQL, you can use a DATE variable. Make sure that you do not call TO_DATE on something that is already a DATE.

  I did see to see what has been select so that I can use similar, not like, etc... Then I check to see if there is a date value so that I can learn to use AND in the select statement.
  
  If both the field and the dates are selected, so we could select where xxxx and date...
  If the field is selected only, then we could select where xxxx
  If the date is selected only, it would be more select the date where xxxxxx
  
  The problem is when I check for date is "" in the cfif statement, get error on null values. So I check for date is null or is not null, but this still does not work. It works find when I check for both the field and the date is not "", then I can use AND, but when I try to check for any what other combinataion, I get error NULL.
  
  How can I fix?
