• The LR4 library filters not working not

  Has anyone meet a problem when they turn on the library filter? I found without any options is selected, it displays all images without a problem.  I'm selecting filter on the default columns and adding a column of file Type.  LR4 recognizes all of the options available for all areas, including the file Type column, which shows the RAW 18 and 7 picture files TIF.  When I select the RAW file option, no image appears. If I select all Types of file again, they appeared all.  I then tried to remove this column and selecting one of the columns that automatically rises, as the lens.  When I select one of the options lens sees it, the same thing happens; No images.  I'm trying to filter the images, so I can all my CR2 files convert to DNG, but if I must choose each individually, it will be a daunting task!

  Try to go to the map, enable, and disable the filters, which dates back to the library and then restarting LR.

• Filters library on iPhones - do work?

  as far as I know - filters in the library of work only on iPads, but in stands of docs that they should work on iPhones too - but they do not. There is error of docummentation or I do something wrong?

  Sorry, this is an error in the documentation. Filters are not supported on the iPhone. I'll edit the documentation.

• Filters library on Android

  Hey all,.

  We have published multiple folio in different languages for our Android app.

  Introduce yourself as supposed Folio.

  We've also added filters library for each folio (before publication), but the Android app does not show a filter button.

  We checked the Adobe Web service response and all the filters are to come in the app.

  This site says help filters are available for iOS, but I find it a little hard to believe:

  Any ideas on why it's missing or someone can confirm the target item is really just?

  I add a new column to my filter (type of file for example),

  but when I restart LR, this new column does not persist and that it is simply missing.

  Either I'm back with the default columns 4.

  After you have added a column for library filters save it as a custom preset and name it what you want.

  Thus, if in the case whenever the filter gets changed default column, you can still select it from your custom preset list.

• Bug in version 6.2.1 of the filter? (flag to reset filters turned off all the time)

  I love working with the filter with indicator / without indicator with my photos.
  With the 6.2.1 last version, with indicator filter go back "filter off" all the time.
  Example, 3 pictures are marked, I select, I merge them into an HDR... .and when you finish the filter is reset to filters turned off.
  Also edit a photo in Photoshop... .returning to lightroom... .filters off

  Quite boring!

  also ask, if you merge 3 pictures that are flagged (picked) in an HDR, it would be nice that the merged result is marked as?

  I think that you have unlocked filters.  Make sure this file > library Filters > Lock filters is verified (the lock is also represented by the padlock on the right end of the library filter bar - make sure that it is locked).  When it is locked, the current filter is not changed by Photo > merge pictures (at least in my 2015.2.1 CC).

• How to connect in the library filter mechanism?

  I've been harping on not being able to write plugins that support the library filtering (since I couldn't understand how do reading or by painting on the API SDK programmers Guide), but now I see that Jeffrey Friedl has done exactly this with its plugin focal length sort.  Unfortunately, the source code is hidden. Someone knows how to do?

  I have a little routine that creates a field of shade for the name of the folder (after deleting the characters not supported such as blanks).  I put it as being available for filtering objects and smart.  I'll post the code, so you can take a look, but it's a work in progress, you will see parts of the code that are no longer used, but I was too lazy to take it off.  There are other unrelated routines as well.  Without laughing

  Remember this are the fields of the shadow and will thus not be incorporated into the files - but they can be updated and used like any other field sorting, etc.   I needed file name but have tested with others.

  I don't know how to add a zip file to this post, so I'll send to you directly.

• Keep the filter for a game/folder

  In early versions of LR, it was possible to keep search filter settings. I wish I had it back.

  Scenario:

  I work on all marked green in a set X I have spend to set Y, and you want to see all the images that are rated 4 stars or higher.

  This used to work and I got a solution to make it work in new versions of LR as well, but I had to reset my preferences and now he's gone. Maybe it was a preference that must be defined via a command line.

  Follow the instructions below in the order:

  1. make sure that the file > library Filters > filters Lock is enabled.

  2. make sure the > library Filters > filters separately to remember each Source is checked.

  How is it possible to search for photos in Lightroom 5, where the IPTC 'Source' field is empty? Is it possible to add fields for additional metadata for library filters?

  The only way to find the IPTC Source field in LR is to use the criterion of "Available IPTC":

  

  This search all the "searchable" IPTC fields (Adobe specific exactly those whose fields are, but they include the Source).

  However, you want to find photos which the Source field is empty.  LR is a criterion "is empty" for most of the areas, but the normal way you would work around and that, for example for the title, is to:

  Title does not contain a, b, and c... x y z 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

  Unfortunately, this work around does not work in your case, since

  Available IPTC does not contain a, b, and c... x y z 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

  Returns only those pictures all the including IPTC fields are empty.  If there is a photo with a title of non-empty IPTC and a vacuum Source, this criterion would not go back to the photo.

  To find the field of the specific Source, you will need to use a third-party plugin, e.g. ExifMeta, Data Exploreror any filter.

• Is it possible to organize folios shared in the application of the content viewer?

  I have all the collection of folios that have been shared with me. My list has grown up a bit and it becomes more difficult to find some slips in the viewer content on my iPad application. The order seems to be somewhat random. Is it possible to organize the list of folios? Bonus question: A way to create folders and put some slips inside files?

• Lightroom 2 Collection shows 48 images, but they aren't there?

  I created a collection called "Favorites". The catalogue indicates there are 48 images in this collection. However, the images do not appear.  (This seems to be different from the problem of "missing" - I understand how that can happen...)  I am confused - do not know where to look and don't know if I lost these images somehow?  I have about 25 other collections, which seem to be well.

  Check that your library filters are set to 'none '.  Also make sure that your filter bar does not all filters applied.

  Whenever I choose to filter my images by flags, I can click on the flags I want, however when I click on the file and return filter indicator turns off. Is it possible to fix this?

  On the file menu:

  • Filters-> Lock library filters

  and/or

  • Library of filters-> remember filter from each Source separately.

• One of my iPhoto library isn't stop unexpectedly

  On my MacBook Pro, I have two iPhoto libraries. The first is old, small and rarely used. The second is my main, very large and currently closes unexpectedly when opening.

  I recently added a few new retouched photos and them organized on this great library. Everything worked well and I even leave the iPhoto app and reopened a couple of times, no problem.

  So, when I was looking at the pictures, he leaves the on me. Now, whenever I try to open it, it stops within 45 seconds.

  Strange part is, I can open my little library very well, and I can access photos if my external hard drive is plugged (large iPhoto library is saved on it).

  I tried to 'Fix' the library, I restarted my mac in 'Safe' Mode and now tried the SHIFT key while opening iPhoto (all recommended to me through Apple support.

  I wish I could contact the experts in iPhoto, but they are no longer available through the phone call, which I am unable to do.

  What version of iPhoto do you use? If your profile signature is still valid (OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)) you probably have the problem that the functionality of the site does more work in older versions of iPhot, because Google's servers are no longer available for iPhoto.  You can test this by disabling your internet connection.  IPhoto starts correctly, if you are working offline?   In the library, I read only VO based on a table of database and is added to a module of the Application. In my AMImpl class I wrote a method say 'retrieveVersion' that runs my VO and returns a string. The original Version has been exposed in the client interface.
