  It could be where you register to.  Make sure that you set up a database on your local drive (that is, your computer's hard drive).  Then select your disks scratch in the preferences (make sure you have enough free space and there is enough defragmented).  Backup speed is not a problem of RAM.  Make sure that you save not on a network drive. People have also disabled 'save with PDF compatibility' > OFF in the preferences help to accelerate.

  Nobody here knows where you specified to save the file on YOUR computer. Thunderbird does not control that.
  You can open the file again, and then select Save. It will more than likely try to save in the same place. Pay attention to the place this time to see where it was saved. If this location is not to your taste, specify a different location, and then delete the first record attempt.

  First, make sure that the original image is larger that you need. It is easier to delete pixels that so add nonexistent pixels.

  Place the image in the template.

  In the menu filters, choose Convert to smart object. (Make sure that the image layer is selected before doing this step)

  Now reduce the size of the image of what you need (ctrl-t or cmd - t) when satisfied click return/enter.

  Because the image layer is a smart object, you can replace the inner image in another image and the scale will remain the same. You will find the option to replace the image in the layers > smart menu object.

  Peripheral is installed last BB Desktop Manager and Roxio BB9000 to manage image files that initially, I got 5 photos loaded into the BB9000 and could see very well in the media, photos, images, I then took 2 pictures with the camera BB9000 and saved. They came very well in all the images in media, photos, I then used Roxio, launched from the BB Desktop Manager to remove these 2 photos of the BB9000 and everything seemed to be fine as Roxio showed the 5 original images as present in the home, user, file photo when I disconnected the BB9000 and accessible Media, photos, images There are now 5 images and 2 broken icon thumbnails. Then I activated the mass of home media, Options, memory, I then connected the BB9000 via USB (to stop BB Desktop Manager at this point) and open the disk (in my case G:\) in Explorer. I clearly see 5 images in the original folder and each of them can be opened through Explorer. Then I unplugged the USB cable and this time there are 4 icons image shattered by the media, photos, images, while the 5 original images are still all there. An image has been duplicated (called trail.jpg) and if I delete one using the BB9000, probably both will disappear but for the moment, did nothing. If I select one of the broken image in media, photos, images icons and select Remove, a prompt appears "the selected file is read-only. Are you sure you want to delete? ». By selecting Yes, does nothing. The image remains a broken image icon. How does it evolve?

  This seems to be that the actual image file has been removed, but the bbthumbs.dat file still has the image in his thumb nail index.

• LIGHTROOM IS RUINING ORIGINAL IMAGES!

  It's crazy!  It happened a few months ago, but I thought it was a bug and now it happened again, and now it's corrupt my original files.

  Here is what is happening, at least my actions to date.

  Lightroom 4 worked fine and dandy.  No problem whatsoever.  We then moved to LR5.

  Now, as I'm in the Library tab through images, as he seems to be pulling a picture shows upward with jagged edges and just - look corrupted.  So I look at the file in the Finder, and now that the image cannot be opened in Photoshop, preview or any other application.  For some reason any previews LR plague the REAL, ORIGINAL images.

  

  

  Now return a month earlier, it happened when it was not a big problem, I had the original RAW files saved, but, now it has damaged at least two folders and the original RAW files cannot be opened.

  Here is the summary:

  -Regarding corrupt cameras/discs - I have files Hasselblaad and Canon in doing so.  I have a lot of different cards that have been used in the present.

  -It's only when I opened upward to 5 Lighroom.  Otherwise, the files were fine.  JPEG conversions that have been made of these weeks of images were very good.

  -It happens to one in every 5 photos or more.   That is A LOT OF PICTURES TO BE CORRUPTED.

  For those that I backed up, now I have to go figure out who...... rename them etc.  AND HOPE AND PRAY for this does not happen.

  -It says that it cannot open the file.

  

  And then when I go to the finder, through lightroom, RAW image it does not work to make it even in Photoshop.

  SO this is corrupting my files so that Photoshop cannot recognize them.  NOT all pictures are affected, just the folders go to Lighroom.  All other files in lightroom (from same camera/day) agree.

  IT IS INSANE.  I hope that someone from ADOBE help save me from what seems to be the imminent my entire library Photo RAW destruction if I continue with the LR5.  I have thousands of images from around the world... I would be devistated to know that this product and the situation is not reversible.

  This issue started after having added that the RAM and/or 10.7.5 updated iMac? The fact that the G-Drive Mini with LR raw image files work on your MB Pro would indicate a problem with iMac system memory or possibly drivers display.

  Download RawDigger, install it on your iMac and try opening the G-Drive Mini LR raw files. It is a much less demanding than LR application and if open files OK this probably indicates that the iMac's faulty memory.

  For the iMac problems I start by uninstalling the 6 GB OWC and try LR with just installed Apple OEM memory. I worked 20 years in the design of system memory and the best "memory test" is to run a resident OS application that has the very heavy memory usage. Many questions will be that when you run such applications as LR, which reveal memory stand-alone diagnostic programs. Let me know what you find and we can continue the investigation.

  In case my scenario, I have a screen where I select the slills as SQL, JAVA, JEE, etc for a particular job type.

  To implement what I have 3 tables

  (1) JobDetails

  (2) SkillDetails

  (3) JobToSkillMap

  In the screen new creative work, I have a component SelectManyShuttle to select the skills required for the newly created position. The SelectManyShuttle component is packed on the SkillDetails Table. Details of newly created work goes to the JobDetails Table. The JobToSkillMap table contains the mapping between the work and the selected skills that has foreign relations JobDetails table key / SkillDetails (JobId and SkillId respectively). It is very well implemented.

  
  

  Now my problem starts a selected edition specific Job while in the editing screen. I am able to get all the details for the work selected in the respective fields of the Screen(by executing the executeWithparam on JobDetails with the selected JobId) change but not able to find a way to be adapted to obtain the skills selected for the task selected in the component SelectManyShuttle.   Please help me find the way I should follow to obtain concrete results.

  Thank you Joe Maniac.  I deleted the original linked files on my internal hard drive which were dng files, but had copies of the raw files edited and edited the exported raw files (in JPEG format).  I don't have copies of dng files.  So what I ended up having to do was import the original raw files which then made a DNG copy on my internal hard drive.  The link has not changed, but now the files were back in the original track for missing photo alerts disappeared and I was able to see my change history.  The process has been painful, but without the dng, I had nothing to do a link to more if at least re-import them files has recreated the dng.  I don't know if there was an easier way, but it seemed that the problem did not the link deletion.  I use LR for a few years, but it was a rookie mistake, precipitated by my hard drive being so jammed up I ended up delete what I shouldn't.  I should have just moved the dng and the link to an external hard drive.   I imported the photos from my camera to my computer and saved in a folder in my pictures.  When I go into my photos and do turn and then try saving the picture, it says "you cannot rotate this image.  The file may be used or open in another program or file or folder can be set to read only. "I have tried many and repeatedly edit the files and folders to uncheck Read-only, but it keeps changing its property back to read-only.  I also know that the file is not open or in use anywhere on my computer.  There must be something wrong with the parameters of only reading, but I have no idea how to do to figure it out, I tried several times to change.

  Okay, it looks like that your camera records the files in write protected files.
  1. There should be settings on your cam to stop recording pictures like "non-indexed.
  2. but right now, try this:

  Right click on image > click Properties > click on advanced > check / uncheck the ' Index
  This file / folder...' option (should be the second option)
  Click OK > click on apply.
  and you'll see it disappear / appear

  You can do this for all the photos (hold down the ctrl key while selecting to choose several files at once)
