    Hello

If your applications do not appear in the implementation in the app shows, it can help to restart your iPhone and your watch. Close the two devices together, and then restart your iPhone first:

    -To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;

-To switch on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

  • monitoring activity shows not all SMV observed

I can't activity monitoring works so far.

I have two windows2k8r2 virtual machines installed on the NAV, vmtools is up-to-date for vsphere 5.5u2.

I activated the monitoring activity on the virtual machine monitor tab, also put these VMs in security group and then ask to SG integrated activity tracking data collection include the SG web these VMs in.

I also installed introspection prompted vmtools option (do we need common activity monitoring?)

the virtual machines and managed NSX joined the AD domain. On VMS, I tried to browse a few web and connect to some remote CIFS servers.

I think that at least the VMs was should be under observed of the virtual machines list and I see some flows under supervision of the activity but table/all the list is always empty.

    What part did I miss?

    Thank you

Thank you Ray. Missed me service Introspection of comments on the cluster installation. That role also mentioned in his post, but I wasn't sure of what is 'service endpoint' in the response.

got it working just after the deployment of cluster reviews introspection service. Already my vmtools enabled introspection comments and vm data collection is on.

  • Monitor activity and Mac speed

My desktop computer iMac (early 2009 with OS X El Capitan; version 10.11.3; Clocked at 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor; Memory 2 GB) is running extremely slow. That's what I've done so far: I managed the startup items by removing unnecessary applications. I was told do NOT install software of cleaning as MacKeeper or CleanMyMac.

Then, I had planned to quit some applications that are taking place on my Mac RAM. I understand that, to stop the app (s), I click on the app (s) in the list displayed in the activity monitor. My question is, how do I know which applications to remove? Some have names that I don't recognize and some list the system as the user and one administrator list any 'root' for the user.

Should I forget speed up the Mac and plan to buy a new computer?

It really depends on if you like throwing money at problems or if you want to try to improve what you already have. A newer Mac is usually faster, but you won't have it.

2 GB of RAM is a bare minimum to 10.11 as State of Apple in the requirements...

Update of OS X El Capitan - Apple Support

Any computer running on the bare minimum will have problems to do several things - you should simply stop all applications running in the Dock.

Activity monitor is not intended to be used as you describe - if you force quit the wrong process or app, the computer may hang, become unstable, or losing your data. Please stop looking at that and try to kill the process, it is intended to help you to diagnose the current state, force quit is not designed for this.

You can buy more RAM for your Mac, allowing him to perform tasks more, otherwise you'll have to accept that it is better to do one or two tasks & quit other open applications.

An Apple store may help you if you need advice on the installation of RAM, I think that this model can support up to 32 GB (Apple 16 GB of State, but the newer RAM modules are larger & seem to work) but you should check the model identifier in system information. That appears under the Apple menu, hold the option key & open the Apple (a.k.a alt key).

RAM is normally easy to ride, but you can get a technical person to do it for you. There are user guides made by Apple for the RAM Assembly in each model.

Slow can also be caused by other software or slow hard disks. You want to create a report to show what is installed? Etrecheck is designed to do this...

P.S. Apps like Clean My Mac & Mac Keeper will use more RAM, so that they won't really help your situation. Most of their tasks seems useless to me.

  • Pavilion Elite m9200t: Light Orange lighting... No monitor activity

Hello, looking for a little help.  I have a m9200t which was working fine until this morning.  When I turned on the PC the light output was orange instead of blue and the screen remains black.  The Office seemed to work because I could see the other LEDs (i.e. disc and dvd player).  I forced the closing down by holding the power button pushed in and unplugged the PC waited a few seconds and is plugged in.  This time when starting the PC, the power light was blue however no activity monitor.

I looked at the back and the light on the power supply is green, fans seem to work well.   I also tried to plug the PC on another monitor, but no dice.  Any suggestions on what could be the problem or some additional troubleshooting steps?  Thank you.

    Hello

If you can get the PC started using VGA so you can certainly get rid of the hibernation file.  Open the RUN and enter the following commands:

    cmd

powercfg-h off--> it will turn off hibernation (replacing offshore by the market a hibernation)

    output

Windows basic drivers should work with the NVIDIA 8600 if Windows does not start with the card in the PC.   The HP NVIDIA 8600 that I have on the shelf has S-VIDEO, HDMI and DVI.  You could try a differnet video card port if you have the right cable and your monitor and support this connection.

At this time the video card may be the problem.  Try to clear the CMOS memory. You may have a bios problem.

  • HP Pavilion p7-1529: HP Pavilion p7-1529 startup issues, no monitor activity

My HP Pavilion p7-1529 at start-up, the power led will Flash orange briefly, then turns off. The fan inside works perfectly well. To be attached to a monitor, the screen says "No Signal" even if the computer is on. The light output at the back is green and solid.

When the problem started first, the start light is blue but there is no response from the monitor and after leaving during several minutes, he would have himself automatically restarts and then fine. But the next day, what has happened, and it would be wrong to start. I think that there is something wrong with the boot priority in the BIOS.

I would try to reset the BIOS and boot priorities, but I don't know how to do that without being able to see the options on the screen.

Update: I did a reset of the BIOS and CMOS Battery, and now the starting lights turn blue again.

  • Automatic configuration of the HP w17e monitor active at random

Currently using an hp w17e flat, wide LCD screen connected to a NVIDIA 9500 GT video card located in a computer that is running Windows Vista Edition home premium (32 bit).  Running on 1440 x 900, 60 Hz frequency suggested by the insertion of the packaging of refreshment. Also in the 32-bit color setting.

(Other computer stats available at http://www.compusa.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=4419976&sku=T71-3446%20ON&srkey=3000%20H210%2057088788)

Tuesday night (13/10/2009) let my computer playing music with the monitor off.  Morning, Weds(10/14/2009) and any platform is off.  Turn it turn it back on and seems to update windows pushed a lot of updates.  Then I noticed the problem.  Randomly, the automatic configuration of hardware on the monitor turns on.  Tried different applications (games, firefox [windowed and full screen], or just sitting on the desktop), and the Automatic Configuration dialog box appears in the center of my screen and shakes the screen.

Monitor checked button, it is not blocked (before this, don't think I hit a few months...)

No change, I tried older drivers I had before the update of windows, still didn't try to update the NVIDIA drivers, arrives.

Reset the monitor through the monitor menu.  Still happens.

Reset the NVIDIA graphics settings, still happens.

Installed the update optional windows update for the hp w17e LCD wide display.

Monitor connection video Cable disconnected to the video card, checked pins, pins are good.  Reconnected.  Still happens.

Tried to connect to another video on the port of the video card (always the same type of connection).  A reduced frequency, but screen looks flatter and more gray/less dynamic.

She returned after swapping the video ports when I open the NVIDIA Control Panel.  Didn't jump once while typing this.

    Suggestions?

    Updated several days later.

After the passage of the screen to the other video port on the back of the computer (vid card has 2 ports I could use, been using a) and disconnect / reinstalling the power cord on the monitor itself, auto config jumped just once shortly after reconnection of everything and not since.

Weird and intrigues me, but hey, if it works now, will to run with him.

  • How to use the activity monitor?

Can I use the activity monitor active processes against a list of processes that are supposed to be here vs not and if so, can someone point me in the direction where the default process for comparison?

You have a problem or if you are curious?  I think that etrecheck would be a better choice.  You could start your mac in safe mode to see what is typical.  There is a lot of process.  I have internet google with the name of the process.  is going to be a bit tedious for all 185 or let etrecheck aside.

You can run etrecheck, by default, it leaves aside the common process of apple.

Download etrecheck.  Click the link to download at the bottom of the screen.

  • What is airportd in the activity monitor.  Is there a list defining what are these processes?

I have a 'airportd' process that appears in my monitor activity periodically and locking system. I don't know where it comes from, or find a definition of what is our why it runs.

The airportd process is the demon of the airport. This process is used to manage your wifi interface, which Apple has already called the airport. Do you use the WiFi on the Mac?

  • Y at - it a measure of GPU activity via activity monitor?

Y at - it a measure of GPU activity via activity monitor? I see CPU and energy monitors. I guess that GPU usage should be reflected in the values of energy, but it could be buried among the other components of the system of consuming energy. I came here from the HT201464 article which apparently does not match t a community.

Did you see the part about the GPU on this page...

Use the monitor activity on your Mac - Apple Support

    • Graphics card: The type of graphics currently used. Higher performance - cards use more energy. Mac which are used for automatic switching graphics save energy with the help of the integrated graphics card. They move to a graphics chip more powerful when an application needs. "Integrated" means that the Mac is currently using the integrated graphics card. "High Perf." means that the Mac is currently using graphics performance. To identify the applications that use high-performance graphics, look for apps that show 'Yes' in the column requires high performance GPU.

This info is displayed at the bottom of the tab energy. It is not the most detailed, but you should be able to see what applications need mode performance.

  • Split view activity monitor and Console?

On my iMac I'm able to run the Console and monitor activity together in split-screen mode, I find that gives me a good workspace for diagnosis. However, on my new 12 '' MacBook, I am unable to do so. Both applications are enabled for the split screen mode, but when I drag one side I am unable to choose the other - I am able to choose other applications well.

Why can't I do it on my MacBook when both are running the latest version of El Capitan?

I saw in the forum of OS X, applications have a minimum width, so if the two minimum widths are wider than the screen apps can't share a split screen. Makes sense.

  • Monitoring of the activity of PC-based desktop

I want to create a system of control of the activity of the office, using LabView 8.0.

My question is, had no example for this system, because I don't really know how to start to program the system.

Discription this surveillance system is like this:

For example, we have two computers, one is host and client. So, now, I want to use host to control the client computer at the office, then on this client computer, we can monitor desktop activity. I intend to install the webcam to the client computer and to monitor activity in the office.     In LabView, you have an example for the surveillance system?

I would say that first of all, quantify you exactly what you want to achieve and look through some examples embedded LabVIEW.

Check the screws of TCP communication under example Finder-> travel-> Networking-> TCP & UDP, I think what you are describing looks you want involved networks.

There are two ways that you can use to get a picture from a webcam, you can buy the package of plugin NI Vision, or if you simply send the image of the webcam, you can access the driver dll and retrieve the image of working memory. For more information on this, check out the 'node to call the library', also under the examples section

  • withdraw the authorization allowing you to monitor the memory usage

I now often have either force quit, restart and started having panic 'of the core"since I agree allow Firefox CPU usage monitor. I'm still on OS X 10.6.8 on my Mac. I got no problem with anything since installing this OS X.

However, from time to time with the latest Firefox 7.0.1 installation I think the program or my computer 'blocks' and seems unresponsive. I left active Firefox and resident on my computer last night and once again, everything will be inadmissible. I opened the monitor activity and noticed that Firefox was consuming 283 MB of real memory (now 298,6 MB) and I have this one open another tab for the Seattle Times. I withdraw my permission to allow Firefox to watch my memory usage and need to know how to delete the cookie or what ever that governs)

Go to Firefox > Preferences > advanced > general tab and uncheck the box "send performance data" more information here.

  • Training activity does not save on Apple Watch

    Hello

After a few months of working fine, all of a sudden when I finished a workout 'Other' activity me not is given the option to save the workout.  It is just to get back to workout options screen when you press 'end '.

Also, I noticed that during the training that he does not show activity when I put my wrist, even if this field is selected on the iphone with "CV last activity", so I'll have to press the wheel to return to the main screen to be able to select "training" even once.  Not sure if this is related to the problem.

All software seem to be up to date and I tried the classic "turn off and on again.

The rest of the watch seems to work without problem, it's just what is a little annoying because this monitoring activity has been one of the main reasons to have the watch.

Any help + tips gratefully received.

With many thanks and best wishes

    Nicola

    Hi Nicola

    Try the following steps:

    • Close open applications on your iPhone:
      • Double-tap the Home button, and then drag upward on each Preview app to close.
    • Restart your iPhone and shows. The two put together, and then restart your iPhone first:
      • To turn off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;
      • To turn it on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
  • Second monitor is not detected after upgrade to Windows 10

After you have installed Windows 10 upgrade Windows 7, my second monitor is no longer functional. The computer is an HP Touch Smart 610-1065qd. I connect on the second monitor through a USB 2.0 Port Replicator 2005pr HP. The Replicator appears as a drive when you look at this PC and an arbitrator in him like HP USB DOCK, as it did in Windows 7. The Replicator seems to work, I can't access the SSD on the device and use a wireless mouse. The receiver is connected to the port replicator. The second monitor, also connected to the Replicator, as it was before the upgrade. Now the system is unable to detect this monitor. The MANAGER of peripheral DEVICES, MONITORS, indicates there is a monitor Active, listed as "PnP monitor" generic Device Manager displays a second monitor as a hidden device. Identified as a "generic PnP monitor' and the State of the device is"currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45) ». In Windows 7, I don't remember the second monitor listing. USB and the DISPLAY NETWORK DEVICES, the entry is USB PORTS port REPLICATOR 2.0 HP 2005pr. Under GRAPHICS cards, there are two lists. The first is an adapter named "AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5570". This corresponds to my video card. The second adapter named "glance speed Boost. I believe that Ancestry.com can installed this. "This device is working properly" is the condition for both cards. I manually checked new drivers for all components. There is no effect. Then, I went to HP and downloaded the most recent Setup to monitor. I then tried to load the drivers and monitoring software. I also loaded the screen in compatibility mode, then in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3, then compatibility for Windows 7 and finely mode as a regulator. As a result, I tried the same process with the original disc. After each test, I rebooted the system. Still unable to detect the second monitor, nothing in Device Manager and unable to detect a new monitor on screen. I attempt to change the Projection. He also, had no effect on the display. Then, I deleted graphics cards. First of all, the adapter "AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5570", which corresponds to my video card. Second, the "Speed Boost glance. This also, don't give not any what on second monitor display. Even if it is visible only when show it hidden devices is checked. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I finely found a fix for the problem to my question; Second monitor, not detected after upgrade to Windows 10. Not the one I was hoping. It turns out that the fault was with the HP 2005pr USB 2.0 Port Replicator. It seems that the driver may be at fault. After more than a month of waiting, I decided to replace the duplicator. I decided to buy a Port adapter to replace the duplicator. What is much less expensive experiment and see if it was infecting the duplicator. It turned out that my second monitor is back and healthy. I decided to continue to use the port adapter and buy a USB Hub to replace this part of the duplicator. I no longer use the HD Audio output, after replacing the old speakers with Bose USB speakers some time ago. I thank everyone for help.
