• Monitor changes in the value of a variable in a module of code labview TestStand?

  Hi all

  A code in Labview module called from an action step has a particular variable that changes its value when running vi. Is it possible to monitor these changes through for example a local variable in TestStand and display different values on UI in real time via UIMessages?

  You must post a UIMessage during execution of your VI.  As the following picture below, you can ignore the SequenceErrorMessage string and use the value of your variable as the numericDataParam.   I guess the trick is to determine where to display the user interface of Message, in your case, the variable updated at certain times or it he constantly updated?  I'm not sure of the performance LAG if at all times you post a UIMessage say every 100ms.

  In the attached VI, I want to continuously monitor 8 (table 1 d 8-bit Boolean) switches for any change in value and who pass the changes.

  I also want to clear the Stop lights.

  Try this, for example.

• Using motion via Panel effect monitor changes bad clip

  What I do: I click on / highlight a clip. Appears in the correct list of the applied effects. In the monitor Panel, the clip has a box around it with handles, I should be able to move.

  Then: I move the slider in the monitor Panel to click-and - drag to reposition (or resize).

  What's happening: I click on the monitor Panel changes the list of effects applied to that of a different element and the element highlight original loses its highest point (IE it goes from light blue to the same blue as all the other clips)

  The clip that is actually in the process of change is now the clip of the headrail most (IE above the clip I want to edit) even if this item is disabled.

  Hope someone can let me know how to solve this problem - it does not always

  You want to scale or position the image on 1 video...

  1 right-click the editing area monitor, and select Select, followed by the name of the image file on 1 video

  2. perform your scaling and positioning of the image on 1 video in the monitor area under the Panel or edition Palette/Motion of applied effects effects tab/Applied expanded whose Position and scale properties.

  This should work for you. Please let us know what your schedule allows.

  Add on... Also look at highlighting / selection of the Image on the video 1, keeping away from the monitor and go to applied effects tab/Applied effects Palette/Motion expanded Panel and its controls to scale and Position.

  Lack of MRP on the portal a single imported located forecast.
  
  Is there a simple way of reporting system changes that users make their predictions?
  For the moment, we have a report disco set up to report that forecasts place data that we run regularly in order to make a comparison.
  
  I thought it might be possible to copy all existing in a second set to provide a baseline for changes regularly. Is this the right path to take, or should I get to the portal instead? (Unfortunately, changes to the portal must be nominated by our IT contractor, so I can't cut costs by doing the basics I).

  You can watch in the activation of the audit trail of on the mrp_schedule_dates and mrp_schedule_items tables. And then by writing a report based on the tables/views in created audit (e.g. mrp_schedule_dates_a and mrp_schedule_dates_ac1)

  I am looking for a solution to this issue. More info: I have a dialogue-type VI with only a text field, which is a string. The user needs to analyze a Data-Matrix Code from a device in the chain. The scanner itself works as if the user has typed the code through its keyboard.

  Is it possible to notice that the entry has been given without needing an additional confirmation of the user (by pressing the button enter or, for some reason any, that it works this way, click anywhere in the window)?

  The workflow of this process must be smooth, so registration should be automatic.

  I just figured out how to do this kind of things, it's by activating "update value while typing" for my channel. This way labview automatically continuously checks the entry and if I can use it as a break for my loop condition.

• Monitor shows erratic colors when waking from sleep

  Brand new Mac Mini, two monitors Dell, OS 10.11.3. The monitor which is connected to the Mini with a bolt of lightning > HDMI cable, when he wakes up from his sleep, sank about half the time the monitor changed to a purple that covers the entire screen. I see the desktop but everything is purple in color. If I disconnect the monitor for 10-15 seconds and turn it back on, the color scheme is usually back to normal. Can't get on the other monitor connected with a HDMI > HDMI cable.

  Only, I raised the issue here because my previous Mac Mini had video problems - both monitors would turn off randomly to black screens asking the full restart. Assumed a Mini hardware problem so I bought a new Mini and now I am having a problem of monitor again on the new Mini. (I remember reading a couple of years on the problems of video/monitor on Mac mini).

  Question: before concluding it is a hardware of the monitor problem, are there any known issues with a bolt of lightning > HDMI connection? I have not purchased and tried a new cable, but would that be a problem?

• HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF: HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF: using VGA and DisplayPort simultaneously for double configuration monitor

  If the title says it all. I'm trying to set up two monitors on my HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF. Here is my configuration:

  1. first monitor (Acer B223W) lights DisplayPort and displays things normally.

  2. second monitor (HP LP2065) is on the VGA port.

  The problem is that my second port monitor never gets a signal from the machine and going to sleep mode. Connect the second monitor changes my main screen at a desk empty (no icons, no taskbar, just a plain painted paper), which I believe means it tries to use my VGA monitor as main display.

  However, the VGA monitor never seems to show anything. I spent my main screen on the first monitor successfully too, but is not all about him either.

  In case the problem persists, please exchange the monitor and VGA cables cables once and check.

  Try and clear CMOS by following the steps below:

  1. turn off the computer and unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
  2. remove the access panel.
  3. on the system board, hold down the CMOS button for 5 seconds.
  4. replace the chassis access panel and reconnect the power cord.
  5 turn on the computer and let it boot.

• My PC "think that" there a second monitor which is the main (but it isn't), how to undo that?

  I managed to set my main screen for a second non-existent monitor.  When I start my PC, the "secondary" monitor is the external monitor only connected to the PC, but the main office is LEFT more non-existent "primary" monitor (all my icons and the start menu are there as well - but I can't get to one of them).  If I right click on desktop to the secondary monitor (the monitor physical only), I can click on 'settings', but I only get the hourglass, which disappears after a few moments.  I presume that the video display settings applet opens on the primary monitor does not exist, but I can't seem to him.  I spent some time trying to 'capture' and move, but it's just frustrating and useless unfortunately.  Now...  I start in safe mode and go into the video settings, but there is no option for a second monitor. So, I have an amendment to the resolution of the screen available only in the hope that will force a change when I reboot, save and restart right of Windows XP.  When starting, the main office is always on the wrong monitor.  I've been asking questions already ;-)

  1. can I plug a second monitor? I can't because there is no other VGA connector on the machine, but there is a header on the System Board - however, it is disabled in the BIOS...
  2. don't reset the BIOS?  I did, I have reset several times, and there is no effect.
  3. do I tried another monitor to rule out the possibility of H/W failure any?  I have and get the same results.

  Is there a way to simply put the display back set to 'normal '?  Unfortunately, without a solution for this, the machine useless.  I'm puzzled.

• 2011 x setting of the sharpness of monitor refuses to stay together

  I recently got this monitor used to a member of the family because she bought a new computer. I set up the monitor, changed all my settings and grabbed lunch. Once I am back on my machine and turned on, I noticed that my sharpness setting was four instead of the two that I put it. So I reset, checked a blog on design references, played a game on Steam, ODDS and ends, then went to grab dinner, leaving my computer on. I'm home, puree the space bar as I normally do to wake my computer and noticed that my sharpness is set to four instead of two. Days to attempt to resolve this problem, asking friends and using ask.com to try to get an answer, I'm here now. Any help would be appreciated.

  I understand that the monitor you have received from a member of the family keeps returning to a different level of sharpness than what you set for. There are only so many things you can do with a monitor, and here they are.

  Start by unplugging the power cord from the screen and the wall. Press and hold the power button for 1 minute. Plug the power cord into the monitor, and then directly into the wall (not a powerbar protector or a lightning arrester)

  Then, press the Menu button on the front of the monitor. Navigate the menu to Factory Reset and select it.

  If the steps above do not work so I suspect it is the monitor, and the only thing I can think is you contact HP Support for service options.
