  Wearing me trouvle find the latest version of the BIOS and MY firmware for my PC HP 8100 Elite SFF (AY032AV).

  On the software page and drivers for this machine there is no frimware BIOS file or currently, any ME language or OS I choose.

  I don't know that I downloaded another update of the BIOS from there in the past, it looks like some sort of error on the page.

  If there is any representative of HP, read this it would be great if you could fix this problem on the PC AY032AV.

  I have recently reinstalled Windows Vista, and I'm constantly getting error codes when I try to download the updates. So far, I found solutions for all of them, but I can't find solutions for the updates listed below.

  I thought that maybe the old files make it difficult for Windows to date.

  Information on my computer:
  System model: Compaq Presario CQ 50 Notebook.
  Name of the operating system: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic

  Error Codes and updates include:

  Another thing is, whenever I try to download these updates, my computer always wants me to reboot.

  I tried following instructions to solve the problem of error code found on the Microsoft Solutions:
  1. I have disabled the firewall PC Tools Antivirus and Windows. Tried to download again and no luck.
  2. I ran the Microsoft FixIt "System Update Readiness Tool", and he said he couldn't find any problems.
  3. I've been through the tool administrator CMD System File Checker, and he says "not found any breach of integrity.

  I can't help you with this question, but if you live in the USA/Canada, I recommend that you call this number and arrested a set of recovery disc for your PC.

  Have the serial number handy to give to the customer service rep.  It costs about $10 for a set.

• Transplanting hard HP Elite SFF 8200, 8300 and vice versa

  Some time ago I asked a question on the transplantation of the hard drive of my HP 8200 desktop computer for my new HP 8300.

  As suggested, I installed files to controller hard drive before the drive, and almost everything seemed to work fine. (Windows installed some additional drivers after training has been installed).

  The operating system recognizes the new serial number etc, but HP Support Assistant still thinks it is installed in an HP 8200 machine. This caused a problem or two becauseHP support help has tried to install a new update of the BIOS for the 8200, which of course will not work.

  I have installled the hard drive of my new 8300 in the 8200 and run Setup from there. This has caused fewer problems but still think that it is installed on the 8300!

  I assume that there is a file that identifies the operating system of the machine. Is it possible to edit this file, or replace the file with the correct version?

  If set to host as a single external monitor during startup frequent windows loses resolution external monitor.

  Example of resolution monitor post seting like 1280 x 1024, start with connected dyndaock, frequent resolution 1280 x 800 not correct and external monitor image not correct.

  Operating system is Vista 32 bit, driver dynadock is 2.3 update and dynadock displaylink displaylink site 4.6.16208 site.
  Same problem with Windows Xp 32 bit.

  How can I solve the problem?

  If I understand the first message, external monitor resolution automatically goes to 1280 x 800 even if you set it to 1280 x 1024.
  I guess that your external monitor is connected to the dynadock.
  Is this good?

  AFAIK, you can customize the video settings of the dynodock.
  It provides a video output in two modes: Mode and extended Mode of mirror.

  Mirror mode creates an identical display of your computer to the external monitor screen. In mirror Mode, the dynadock automatically selects the settings (screen resolution, color quality and discount rates) for the external monitor that will allow the best resolution based on your computer's settings.

  Maybe you use the mirror mode and therefore the dynadock the resolution automatically because it of the best for the external monitor.

  I recommend checking the Dynadock manual for more details.

  I'm going to upgrade the ram on my laptop 4 GB to 8 GB. First of all, I will post all the details of my laptop then explain the problem.

  Then to the right, I installed Windows 7 32 bit top centuries ago and implemented at the processor level and have never had problems as I work with computers.

  I did some checking and found out that my motherboard supports up to 8 GB of ram and decided to purchase two 4 GB RAM modules. I made sure that I had good ram to my laptop.

  I upgraded the ram and it recognized without any problems and has even stated that 8 GB of ram was installed under 'System' in contol panel and in the bios. As it was a 32 bit OS it has only 3 GB of ram. So I decided to upgrade my OS to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and that's when the fun begins.

  Basically, my laptop does not start if I have more than 4 GB of RAM installed (in all configurations) and get a BSOD. I had a few different Stop error codes, but I can't seem to find a solution. Also, there is no all/many options to change in bios, so Im puzzled.

  I tested the modules of ram with Memtest several times without error and tried in different laptops without problem. I know that my computer laptop suppors the 8 GB that I had no problem running the 32 bit OS.

  All my drivers and other software are up-to-date and work very well and have installed all the updates of windows to date.
  If anyone else has had this problem and is at - it a patch/fix available?

  Any help, ideas or suggestions are welcome and I hope I can fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

  You are right. Your motherboard can be upgraded with RAM and max RAM for your laptop model is of 8 GB.
  This info you can find in the specifications of the laptop.

  Problem is that, for the upgrade, you must use 100% compatible modules. I'm pretty sure there must be a compatibility problem.
  Can you please tell us what modules you use (brand and specification).
  For example: module 4GB compatible for this model of laptop has part number PA3670U-1M4G.

  This driver is found to use with an open word file and when my daughter tried to save it on the disk, she noticed that the light on the drive is not on and the drive was inaccessible.  I noticed that the reader expects in an awkward position in the port; That is to say that she was raised vertically upward to perhaps five degrees while still remaining in the port.  Is it possible that the physical connection to the road on the connector was broken due to his being bumped?   It is more of a general question that specifically do everything with Flash, but I was hoping someone here might be able to give their opinion!

  I'm designing a program and I'm not sure what screen to resolution, I think that this program will be mainly used on laptops, and I did some research in the most common resolutions floating around, either 1280 x 800 (which I use personally) and 1024 x 768. My question is, are most of the laptops more big screen these days? (As at the time, I'll go to 1280 x 800) or is the most frequent more square resolution?

  After hours of tests with batch processing and searching the Internet, maybe someone of you can help me:

  I have about 3000 files jpg. into a single folder (all different sizes and proportions) and I need all of them cropped to a specific proportion (height: width = 4:3) and then resized to a specific size (for instance 800 x 600px). Batch processing can do a lot, but a critical stage is not possible: once an image has been loaded into PS, I need user intervention to determine the acreage (size and position) before the rest of the process (cropping, resizing and saving) can run again automatically.

  For example a photo of 2000 x 1000 px: "culture window" allows me to choose an arbitrary area regarding size and position (i.e.at 20px to the left and 10 px high, size 1000 x 750 px = fixed proportions - and different for each image), then the cropped area is resized to 800 x 600px, then it is saved. (Similar to the tool selection with fixed proportions)

  The essential Act is the interaction with the 'proportional cropping. If resizing is not possible in a first time, I could also do with a second batch run myself.

  Jdb files seem to contain a lot of junk that is unrelated to our application. For example if I use strings and grep - c for a particular string in our objects serialized on a file healthy jdb by that I get about 14 000 folder. On a 1 GB DB where I killed the process, I move showing 1,000 per file. Looking through the files with a hex editor jdb I normally see our data for most of the file, but in these, our data seem to be rare. We use Java outsourcing, so it is easy to see where are the object.

• 800 LTS G2 Elitedesk: How to enable legacy boot on Elitedesk 800 G2

  Hi all

  We recently received a sample Elitedesk 800 G2 unit so that we can tailor our solution for OS deployment him before that people in our society early buying.

  We use the PXE-boot legacy for deployments so I wanted to set up the machine to make Legacy Boot and set the inherited from PXE first boot order.

  Since there is no documentation or the help that I could find, it is a process of trial and error.
