Monitor image is too large

I just installed Windows Vista on my Dell Deminsion 2350.  Everything is OK except that the image is larger than the screen of the monitor. How can I reduce the size of the image to fit the screen of the monitor?

Go to the Dell Web site > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.

And how to change the resolution of the screen; you need correct drivers installed to do this:

Change the screen resolution

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

See you soon.

  • by clicking on the published photos to enlarge does not display the comments. the image is too large

Click on the photo in the post, it opens too big to see the first comments of the photos. The comment is hidden by the big Board. It is only in firefox. It's OK in IE9, Chrome, etc.
I love firefox because of the aps to tab.

Caircraft are 2 x 3 image is higher resolution than your 8 x 11 file.

Change the resolution of the 2 x 3 to match you res 8 x 11 before you copy it to the new file or

Choose this layer in the copied file and then edit > transform > scale. Be sure to hold the SHIFT key while you move the handles to angle to maintain the proportion.

  • Too large objects on the Second monitor

    Hello

I just bought a Macbook Pro 13 "with Retina display and I am running Windows 8 with Bootcamp."

After tinkering with Windows display settings, it seems that the resolution on my second monitor is fine (after being initially too weak and thus producing the wrong image). However, program windows appear much too large. Is that what I can do to fix this? I find nothing in the display preferences.

    Thank you

  • The image file is too large

Hi, I am trying to download a book on Smashwords. I made the pictures so small now that I CASN barely see them (2.5 cm). Yet, this short story 1 200 words and 39 works of graphic art is still too large to download in format Doc (the one acceptable to swords)

I don't want to download a mac epub as it blows the content too. It never works with Smashwords requirements. (I made hundreds of changes and moving images in all directions no matter what)

I tried to compress the file and there is Mo.9 difference - not enouch.

I'm at 17.6 MB now, and I'm afraid this file will not work.

Is there anything I can do to make a smaller file with works of art (for small children) working here? Thanks guys and girls. Much appreciated if you go by.

To create this in what applications do you use?

Some applications (including MS Word, Pages, but also others) store several revisions and changes in the main document. Sometimes it's helpful (makes it easy to retrace your steps), but it leads to the bloat of the document.

There are two ways to reduce this. In Word, try to save as... to save a clean copy of the document (without any changes). In the Pages, use file-> advanced-> reduce the size of the file to do the same. Other applications may have similar options.

When the photos are displayed in OE they are displayed full size...
There is no way to constrain the size in pixel dimensions to fit
the window of the OE. You can use the scroll bars to see the entire
picture, but it's far from ideal.

Best bet would be to copy attachments in a folder on

Just open the message that contains the attachment and

How can I reduce the size of an e-mail signature because I am told that it is too large, truncated?

    original title: email signatures

How did you compose the signature?  If you have used the word or some office products, its probably loaded with unnecessary code.  In Word save as html, but use the filtered HTML and which should reduce the size.

All you really need is the basic HTML code such as:

    This is a signature.

You can copy and paste that into Notepad and add some text, formatting, and images you want.

I assume you mean the image displayed on your screen...

Right-click anywhere on the desktop where there is no icon.  Choose the resolution of the screen.  Change the resolution to one that works for you.

In the selections you can make, you are limited by the capacity of your video output capacity.

  • Received an Error Message using the Widget featured in publication of news about the locations are too large to rasterize.  Cannot preview page.

I get an Error Message when previewing a page that contains the Widget for Composition of new functionality.  The Message says that the locations are too large to rasterize and I need to make it smaller in size.  I tried all this burt, nothing worked.

This error occurs generally if/when there is a block of text high who happens to use a system font (and so must be output as an image). If that is the question, go to a Web font (always the first choice when you select a font to use on the web) or a 'web safe' font for all the text in the frame will prevent the error.

If that doesn't seem to be the issue, we will need more information about the specific page which generates the error.
