Monitor of Windows 8 and My HP Compaq L2105tm

Is there a place I can get a driver to Windows 8 for HP Compaq L2105tm 21.5 inch LCD touch screen display? I am currently under the developers version of Windows 8 and I would like to be able to run my fingers and slide the tiles on the screen. The drivers that come with this monitor will not be installed on the disk, because it displays a message that does not have this version of windows.

After trying to install the driver on the cd unsucessfully because it detects that the driver is not written for Windows 8, I've done was to unplug the USB cable and then reconnected. This solved my problem with the version developer. You should not have problems with the final version of the Windows 8 market. It works perfectly and you do not need to install all the drivers to get the screen to work. I use the HDMI port, do not forget to plug in the USB cable supplied with the monitor to the computer.

  • Resource monitor shows Windows 7 and Windows Vista running different programs

I followed my programs and other at quite a bit lately since my system hangs and is running more slowly.  I'm trying to understand what might be causing this. I only had Windows 7 loaded on this desktop computer, as I bought it.  However, today I noticed that in the resource monitor to the title of the CPU that Windows 7 is the context of the operating system for some programs and Windows Vista is the context of operating system for other programs (including programs based Apple).  Is this a problem? Could it be added to some of my slowness and crashes?

This indicates the operating system, the program has been designed to target. If the application does not specify this in its manifesto, it is assigned to a context of Vista. This has been added in Windows 7 that allows new applications to benefit from new features, while older applications continue to work on the former.

I upgraded from XP to Windows 7 and I can't use my external monitor.  Does anyone know what driver should I download for my Compaq NW8240.  Thank you for your help in advance

    Hello:

You must manually install the Vista graphics driver as follows...

    http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdDetails/?sp4ts.oid=462858&spf_p.tpst=swdMain&spf_p.prp_swdMain=wsrp-navigationalState%3Didx%253D%257CswItem%253Dob_47268_1%257CswEnvOID%253D2096%257CitemLocale%253D%257CswLang%253D%257Cmode%253D%257Caction%253DdriverDocument&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken

Download and run the above driver.   You will probably get an error not supported operating system.

Conclusion of any windows error.  Go to Device Manager.  Click to expand the category graphics cards.

Click on the VGA Standard card.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software method and navigate to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

The folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp34716.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

After you restart if all goes well, the graphics should work very well.

  • Keyboard shortcut to move a window between two monitors instead of drag and drop.

I want a quick way to move a window from one monitor to the other in a double configuration monitor without having to drag the window with the mouse. This is particularly useful for full screen windows since to move, I have to exit full screen, catch them with the mouse and drag them to the other monitor. Ideally, I want something I can do with a keyboard shortcut.

I don't know if this exists, I couldn't find it in a list of keyboard shortcuts. I think it would be an improvement for anyone to use multiple monitors which has good reason to need do to switch between several programs. Since windows looks at multiple monitors and identifies each in the settings of customization like 1, 2, 3, etc, it would make the most sense for me to have one high and one low. So if I have a window screen 2, I can hit a keyboard shortcut to move it to the same spot on monitor 1 (low) or monitor 3 (upwards).

Maybe it exists in form some and I don't find it not, but if not I think it would be very useful, especially for anyone doing graphic design or programming work.

(Also I filled out the form for that matter like windows 7, which is what I use at home, but he put it under the XP forum since that is what the computer I write from is running on.)

Use the following key combination to switch between screens.

"Windows key + SHIFT + key.

    Detailed instructions:
Press in and hold the Windows key and then add and hold down the SHIFT key. While now hold both hit the left or right arrow key to move the current active window left or right.

  • U2415, around the gap between the Windows desktop and the edge of the monitor (bezel)

    Hello

I have a Dell Ultrasharp U2415. I've read all the FAQS and I know I have to perform the SUBMISSION, but before doing so, I just want to know if it is normal to have a gap between the Windows desktop and the edge of the screen. If the Windows desktop is not covering or fill the entire screen. There all around the smaller than a 1/4 "gap between the edge of the windows desktop on the edge of the bezel of the monitor, and this model has almost no bezel. The graphics settings in Windows 10 are set to use the native resolution of 1920 x 1200 monitor. I tried with different computers (all windows 10), and the drivers are up to date. The monitor is connected via HDMI since I don't have portable computers not with DP interfaces. Laptop computers have Intel and ATI video cards. I have check the put option to scale on the video card software and it is set to 100%. So, is this gap normal? Is the edge Office Windows 10 supposed to touch the physical edge of monitors?  If the gap is not normal, I will perform the integrated test.

    TIA!

Based on the YouTube comments, which seems to be normal. "But you must run the APPLICATION to see if the"smaller than 1/4"gap" appears. If Yes, then we can say that it is normal. If this is not the case, then some settings of the operating system is the culprit.

  • Windows 7 monitor recognizing as digital and analog

I have Win7 Pro 64 bit, a monitor Acer X 223 and a Radeon 5850 Videocard.  I use a single DVI - D cable to the DVI port of the monitor to the video card DVI port.

However, when I go to 'Control the resolution Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display\Screen' he monitor correctly under the heading display, but it says "(analog)" next to it.

I entered the monitor settings and made sure this 'digital' has been checked and not analog.  I've updated to the latest Catalyst drivers.  I'm looking for suggestions.

  • I want to monitor the disk space and CPU on a windows - DONT see machine

I want to check the disk space and CPU on windows server 2003 box - DON'T see pltform for windows box all 'fileserver mount' or 'CPU '.  I do not see these services
for my UNIX/LINUX platforms. What controls what in health platform services, and WHY doesn't show the windows platform the platform services. I have Server 3.02
talk to the windows client running 3.02 box. I just reinstalled the client on windows
box and still the same. Nothing in the health platformservices). I restart the HQ server and its
client also. NOT knowing how to manage the windows box. I can go in manually and add an assembly file server service and name it and then this name appears in the services of the platform
health. I shouldn't this for CPU, NetworkServer or mount fileserver interface. ???  I talked to John Mark Walker and is well why this is happening?

I'm not an expert but I have encountered this problem also.  That's why I think it happened to me.

    1. I installed the server and checked it was running and I was able to connect to Headquarters.
    2. I installed my agent on another box and as soon as he said it started successfully killed him so that I could go ahead with the installation of the agent as a service.
    3. I installed the agent as a service and started it.
    4. this particular agent in central administration did not show one of the hard disks or WIN32.

I fixed it by deleting the agent and put it back.  After you start the agent for the first time and it communicates with the server let it run for a while before you kill to install as a service.

    1. stop the service of the agent on the windows machine
    2. open your command line, change to your agents directory and run hq-agent you to uninstall as service
3 remove the data of your agent directory folder
    4. use the download of SERVER installation to install your agent
    a. by running setup.bat - full (option 3 for the installation of the agent)
5 finish the installation of the agent so that your window says 'agent started successfully.
    6. DO NOT CLOSE THIS WINDOW
    7. connect to your HQ and accept your inventory of auto-discovery, access this resource, and you should see that it is only partially completed
    8. Refresh every few minutes and you should see all the icons of availability to change green checks and your additional question as disks and CPU added.
    9. once filled close your agent, install it as a service, and then start it again.

I was killing my initial discovery officer before he could finish, looks like you have the same symptoms.

  • Re: Tecra S5 - 15 q - monitor display lines vertical and error 43 for GPU

After about 5 years my Tecra S5 is experiencing problems with its graphics.
Most of the time the (internal and connected an external via VGA) monitor displays vertical lines, and windows gives an error 43 on the map.

I was wondering if there is a way to solve this problem, and if this problem could be solved under warranty (although the protohistory of the warranty expired 3 years ago.) .

In my opinion, it is bad material work and as far as I know only way to fix it is motherboard Exchange. I n t have this model of laptop, but I can presume that the GPU is fixed on the motherboard and cannot be traded separately.

    Fixed under warranty? Of course.

where I can download windows 7 and serial key what would you say?

Please please help me in this regard

    Thank you & best regards

When you request support, please provide the number of name and/or product of comprehensive model of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq made thousands of computer models which are all different. Without this information, it can be difficult, even impossible to help you solve your problem.

You can download a (ISO) image of Windows 7 SP1 by using the links provided in this HP forum thread titled "How to install Windows 7 without the disc". During the installation of Windows 7 you must use the product key of Windows 7 from the Microsoft COA on the underside of your computer. If your computer came with a different operating system, you will need to purchase a copy of Windows 7 with a COA and a key valid unused product.

I'm running an additional monitor in Win10 to a USB connection, but it uses a USB adapter / VGA, and to make it work, I had to install the drivers that came with the card.  Before that I did, Win10 has not even seen the monitor.

I do not take up that simple...

Try the driver windows 7 for her at the link below and you will need the W7 software protect tools because I do not think the Vista software works.  Ditto for the quick launch buttons.

These drivers have been extracted from the 6910p who was the first series HP business notebook, support for windows 7 and the one that follows in the line after the nc6400 (the 14.1 "model of your screen).
