More installation of CS3 questions

HI, I have Win xp and I had downloaded CS3. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times and I've never had this problem before. I had a problem with the CS3 version and thought I have just uninstall and reinstall, but after I uninstalled it using simply add and remove programs, I tried to reinstall and continued to get the message that he was already running and let it complete the installation first of all. I'm crazy and so went uninstalled everything manually. Always the same message and now its projection upward to add and delete and I can't remove it! I have been put into registry and tried to uninstall all cs3 it but then every little thing I uninstalled appeared in Add and remove programs without the possibility to uninstall. Then I put everything in registry and photoshop shows always upward here even if I removed everything. So I downloaded the clean script Wincs3 from Adobe. I followed all the instructions but I can not get this program to run, and now I'm PISSED OFF! I've never had this problem with Adobe before and I don't like. After that, I did all these nonsense I tried to reinstall and get this stupid message. Can someone help me to reinstall photoshop? I don't know what else to do. I should add that when I tried to run the WinCS3 cleaner he says its not installed and when I click on WINCS3 cleanupadditon it just POPs and closes immediately. I turned the popups blocker and firewall and still have the same problem.

Not sure if this will help, but there is a Windows Installer Cleanup utility, you can remove install entries that you don't want, but it is dangerous to do that in an overzealous manner, so be careful.

    I thought about it. I just reinstalled all my apps that wouldn't launch and it works fine now. You can simply uninstall the apps screen update CC and then install here once again.

  • Necessary for the installation of CS3 CS4?

    I had the new imac and had to reinstall CS4 for a reason any.

    They I want to install CS3, (sometimes I need to upm rear and there is a filter I think only works with version CS3).

    So I put in the installation of CS3 disc, it is starts and in the middle of it says, continue for CS4 installation disc.

    I got confused and all just canceled everything.

    But why a CS3 installation asked me to install CS4 disc? Thank you.

    With a Mac you can have both installed, but I think (at least I still got to do it this way) you need to install CS3 first. If you have CS4 out there and you try to install CS3 it does not because there is some library files that cannot be reversed to accommodate the "old" installation

    This unit has been installed and functional for since December. The main computer is connected via a USB cable. Other computers using the wireless feature. Now, nothing works. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer several times during the last three hours. This was done using the installation CD and also download the drivers/installation on HP website. I also tried to install just by pluggin installed in the unit. Nothing has worked. I tried then connected to the router and go wireless alone. A couple of times showed the Panel of the connected printer. However the blue light continues to blink and nothing has worked. When installing via the USB cable, it showed "USB storage device" failed. Most often, he showed the printer as printer FAX 8600. I do not use or want to fax. The scan function has never worked. When the device is blocked, the only cure is to unplug the power supply. Any suggestion is appreciated.

  • Serial No. rejected as invalid on my installation of cs3.

    CS3, I installed it on my computer.  It was licensed to multiple users.  When I enter the serial number, it tells me that is not valid.  I did a chat with support, only for them to send me here - say that they is no longer supported that version.  anyone knows what is the problem and how it can be corrected - or how can I talk to someone at Adobe.

    A serial number of the volume requires a volume Installer. You should be able to get it by logging into your account on the Site of Licensing.

    Possibly your serial number is incomplete.

    I'm trying to install CS3 on my new laptop Windows7. A file called "adobepdf.dll"is. necessary to complete the installation Adobe references say find this file on the disk, but it is not found.  Any ideas how to proceed?

    If you use an installation cd, copy the contents of the disk in a directory desktop and install from this directory and use compatibility mode to install.

    I have CS3 I need to install one Mac to another. It has already been turned off and installed again as well.     I get 'the installation program stops running Message' after disc 1 ends and ask disc 2 when I try to install CS3 Master Collection.  This is new Dell Vostro 270 s PC with Windows 7 Professional, which replaces a HP Windows 7 Home Edition. CS3 ran OK on the HP.  Suggestions?

    So please try to download a new copy of the installation files.  What to ask a second disc indicates he has difficulties to locate the required installation files.  With the download, you will have all the files installation in one place and it will be not necessary to insert the CD.

  • Hyperlink InDesign CS3 questions

    I create hyperlinks in InDesign exporting to a pdf file. I ran into 2 questions that I hope someone can help with. I tried this using a Mac (OS X Leopard) and a PC (Windows XP).

    1. I have a link that I try to go to a pdf file that is located on an https site. I created the destination using the full URL. I assigned to it for the words in the document (the "for more information" type words). In InDesign, in the hyperlink Panel, the drop-down menu to go to Destination of works. When I pdf file, however, there is no hyperlink available on the Mac or PC.

    2. "words" in InDesign that are actual URLS, all are typed in parentheses with spaces on each side, IE [www.adobe.com]. On the PC, some of these links work in the pdf, and some do not work as they include the closing parenthesis. I did them all in the same way and do not understand what I could have done wrong. And on the Mac, they all work. If there is no easy answer, I might have to convince the author of the document to exit media. :-)

    I hope that I have included all relevant information. It's my second try because when I tried to post, I got a notice that I was not open session and could nothing when I tried to send, even though I was logged - VERY frustrating.

    I appreciate any help on this.
