Motherboard drivers

Hi all

I have a Pavilion DV6 and I'm looking to replace the motherboard. I downloaded the manual for this laptop and I looked through it and found a replacement card that has the features I want. The problem is that only the number of spare parts for the Board of Directors is listed. And while I could find a place to buy it (Ebay, Amazon, etc.), I do not think that one of them contains any kind of CD/DVD with drivers. I don't know what specific models of computers laptops HP came with this card installed, so I don't know where to begin the search.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

It is a DV6-6c35dx (AMD). But the thing is that I am without an AMD card at an Intel, one.

If you do not Intel chipset, your product number must be included in the BIOS so that you can find the driver in the HP with the PN driver support page and find the correct drivers.

    Hello

My satellite 1130-Z24 died, with a main board failure. I replaced the Board with one, I got from E - Bay, which is not the same exact model, but I don't know which. The keyboard works except the arrows and the touchpad do not work, even if its detected in the Device Manager and XP installed OK, with Service Pack 2. Everything works well, the system uses the Windows generic drivers for display, but it works OK. I can find the model and the SN of the motherboard with BIOS agent, can someone help me find the model of the system, so I can download the correct drivers?

I need HP/Compaq Nash - GL8E motherboard, MSI MS-7225 a.k.a drivers. I searched the whole interwebs and had no chance at all. I need of audio chipset and NIC for Windows XP 64-bit drivers. I also need a BIOS update.

  • Should I update my Intel motherboard drivers?

I own a PC Intel D945GCNL Motherboard and Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3 operating system. I am a user of Home PC and my PC is also supported 32-bit in the display and the version of DirectX 9 .0c for multimedia.

    My question:

Is this OK to update the drivers from the Intel Download Center?

    For an example:

    (1) now I have Realtek HD Audio Driver 5.10.0.5404 in my PC. Intel Download Center shows that for Intel D945GCNL motherboard equipped with the Microsoft Windows XP Professional operating system, there is a latest audio driver (released 09/23/2010) called Realtek driver Audio ALC, which installs the version of the audio driver Realtek 6196. Is this OK to download this new driver?

    (2) now I have Realtek Ethernet LAN Driver 5.664.205.2007 in my PC. Intel Download Center shows that for Intel D945GCNL motherboard with the Professional Microsoft Windows XP operating system, there is a latest driver LAN (published 02/08/2010) named as version 5,764. Is this OK to download this new driver?

    (3) Similarly, should I update the version of the graphics driver, too?

Please give me your wisdom, advice, comments for this problem!

suresh87 is correct, you need to update the drivers you listed on the Intel site .  Card mother Intel® D945GCL has the Realtek ALC888, Realtek RTL811B-GR and the Intel® 945GC chipset (which includes the Intel® 82945GC Express Chipset Graphics Memory Controller Hub) as embedded devices.  With what is the case, the Intel® Web site is thefavorite of all the drivers of the said source.  Intel was able to customizations for all Realtek drivers specific to their use on their D945GCL which all drivers that you might find elsewhere will not be included.

Once you have downloaded and installed the drivers above, you can run DirectX® end-user Runtime Web install dxwebsetup.exe from Microsoft, , because it will download and update software DirectX v9.0c pilots who may be out of date on your system.

Vote if you find it useful.  Click on brand or propose as answer if that answers your question.  This will allow more quickly find that answer in the future.

  • Not able to find the motherboard drivers manual

GA-8simlh manual needed asmy ram runs at a much lower frequency it is possible and I think maybe it's riders not located in the right place, I have 2 sticks of 512 MB pc3200 ddr400 and at the mo its race to 200 mhz on my last Council that I could download the right manual and it said there on different frequencies and other things but I downloaded a manual and it does not show even a diagram of the jumpers still less a positional diagram or pic or table or something

Seems to me that if this mobo deals with adjustments of performance through the BIOS rather than with riders.  Read the manual you downloaded more carefully.

  • Satellite A300-1N8 - need 64-bit drivers

    Hello, fellow "Toshibers".

I got a Satellite A300-1N8 two days ago and I installed Windows Vista Ultimate x 64 on it, but guess what - my graphics card and my network card (and several other things as well) would not start.

It is important to say that this laptop is delivered without software (on the external hardware (CD,...)) at all.
The statement accurate status both devices given by the Device Manager is "the device cannot start. (Code 10) "and then they suggest that I should check for solutions on the Microsoft site. Well, that sounds exactly like "the keyboard does not work. Press any key to continue. "(Courtesy of Motorola in the dark ages of the computer).
So I can't use the graphical features advanced at the moment or connect you to the internet.

I put emphasis on the problem of network card for now.
The adapter is Realtek RTL8101 Family PCI - E Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0). I've updated the driver manually using the driver for Vista x 64 provided to the site Web of Realtek of the card, but it is all the same.
Then it dawned on me that it is possible to be something with the motherboard drivers, but I can't find anything useful for a 64 bit version of Windows Vista.

Help me, please. I ran out of ideas.

    Hello!

    Have you updated the BIOS?
For Satellite A300 is already a BIOS that is available with 64-bit Windows.
Then look at the Toshiba site, download and install it. Then the problem should be solved.

  • XP pro, some drivers missing-

brilliant title huh? , Anyway Im back on behalf of my dear mother again. His HP 4200 64 athlon x 2 machine w / svc XP Pro Pack3 worked along just great. suddenly, an afternoon (today) is not connected to the internet. He had been in line the night before. After some poking around, I discovered in the Device Manager the yellow question mark next to the name of the device and on the inside it says that the device drivers are not installed. She also lost the volume control device, you know the tricks of audio device. Since she can't get online and does not know where the drive or if there is a disk :) (ok noob of 66?) I want download drivers for his transfer and then to his computer. Basically, if I can get her back on line itd be good. Please tell me how to locate the drivers windows xp for modem (ethernet) speedstream 4200) and audio device TY TY stuff very much, Jim

Me not wnt be troble juice try a lern

To get her back, you must reinstall the CD OEM drivers or the motherboard of the machine of your MOM. Keep in mind pilot are same same specific motherboard manufacturer varies depending on the hardware & driver from model to model, one version to another of the same model.

Generally IC Audio would be one of the among the popular one like: Realtek, Intel, Sound Max etc.

If the system has a sound card then you will find CD of drivers from the sound card manufacturer.

For the modem Ethernet LAN or network driver works, it is requires no additional drivers. You could reinstall the driver LAN of your MOM machine motherboard drivers CD.

Because it is a HP system, you can contact HP to obtain the driver download media.

  • Broken USB drivers

XP Pro is able to identify the device connected (down for name and brand) but just then with the wizzard found new hardware and then fails to find the drivers for the device, regardless of the option that I chose to install it. I believe that this problem can be due to the upgrade of computers to sp3 (recent full reinstall). However, the computer had run sp3 before reinstalling and the devices wrked even well before, not even show the wizzard. All devices I've tried claim that their drivers are supplied with xp.
In Device Manager, the device appears under the other heading with the question mark - however it shows their exact model name and brand.

  • I'm building a Windows98SE virtual machine on a host OS to Windows XP Home using Virtual PC SP1 (with the fix for XP home). Do I need to install drivers for the emulated hardware?

As I understand it, all hardware is emulated (that is, it 'sees' that which is emulated, not the physical hardware in my computer: sound card, motherboard, etc.), correct?  Here's my question: do I need to install the motherboard drivers, video drivers, or the audio drivers for the emulated stuff.  In other words, even if I have an Athlon XP 3000 + processor on an ASUS motherboard, do I need to install the drivers from the motherboard with the chipset emulated by Virtual PC?

You have no need track down all the drivers.  They are installed automatically.

  • Update of Windows configured to never install drivers

My computer Gateway dx 4640 OS windows vista top pk2

Please how I have configured windows update to install the drivers and how to problem of Fixer with \driver:\acpi answer sloww

    thonson35,

According to conventional wisdom, you should not install new drivers, if all goes well with your computer, because doing so may mess up something that worked fine before. It is true that this side effect can occur, but you're much more likely to improve the performance of your PC.

To minimize your risk of breaking your PC with a bum driver update, create first a point of system restore you can come back to if something is wrong: type to create a restore point in the search box of the start menu and click on Create... in the window that opens. This will create a safety net that you have access to, no matter what happens.

Your next step in upgrading the drivers should be updated to Windows. Click search for updates, and then click the text noting how many updates are available. Generally Microsoft class driver as optional updates, so even if the text Windows Update indicates that you have not need for critical updates, you should always click the link. Check the box next to all the drivers updated, and then click OK to install.

Then, visit the Web site of the manufacturer of your computer or devices you have connected to it. Check the support page for your machine and download the new drivers that appear. In most cases, you will need to know the particular piece of hardware that is installed on your computer (check Windows Device Manager if you are not sure of the model number of a component is), and you should only download the drivers you need. Install the new drivers according to the instructions; This step usually involves a simple executable file running and then restart. Test your system carefully after each driver installation and make additional system if restore points you're upgrading of several drivers. The biggest performance gains result from an update of your BIOS, motherboard drivers, and graphics card drivers.

  • Windows boot slow.and installation of the drivers.

Original title: Watch Windows reinstall the motherboard drivers?

I just got my computer fixed and reinstalled windows vista home basic 64-bit. A week later a windows popup (windows new hardware detected) driver installation said that windows was reinstall some system drivers. This does not block it. From time to time once (not all start-ups but most) windows has a very slow start and when I connect the popup apears. The drivers are all motherboard related so I contacted the manufacturer and they just said to reinstall the drivers and if it does not reinstall windows. The system has a very slow start up. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes to get to the login screen. A final problem, time continues to reset. I do not want to reinstall windows, and I don't want to take it to the computer repair shop and wait another week. What should I look at?
