  I have a 2008 iMac that was a gift for my wife. Since I got it with there have been intermittent problems the display becomes unresponsive, the mouse moves, the clock does not update and you can not click on anything. the only way to fix it is to ssh to it and it reboot remotely.

  I installed from scratch, installed 2 different adapters, 2 different drives and installed the Mavericks, Yosemite and El Capitan, from scratch every time.

• Too much Mouse Move event queues events

  I have a VI that I want to be able to move the scroll bar and then update the graphic cursor position corresponding as I do on different orders.  I meet a problem after removal of the scroll bar on a thumb, where he seems to be pulled and give too much mouse move events and it failures of the program.  Any ideas on how to avoid this an average mouse move samples of the event or something?

  Without looking at your code (do not have LV12 on this machine) I'll take a wild guess that you have locked the façade on the mouse move event.  Try to uncheck it and see if that helps.  Phase II should be faking a loss event queue, but usually, I don't have to do unless I do something really slow in response to an event.

• Very slow ARD mouse movements

  When checking my jobs local (same LAN) in ARD in macOS Sierra the mouse movement is very slow, are not smooth at all and the STI jumping cursor.

  This was never the case with ARD in the previous versions of OS X as El Capitan. I use the exact same settings and configuration. Control ARD clients so got very boring now under Sierra.

  Any ideas or others facing the same behavior?

  You use a USB-serial adapter?  Has been sending peripheral data when you start the computer to the top?  The device sending the data while the USB adapter has been being connected?

  It's probably a Windows problem.  If you connect a serial device (adapter USB-serial anytime or a build/PCI serial port at startup) and the device sends data, then Windows think that standard equipment is a mouse.

  If you look at the dialogue of the event, the VI no actually not a mouse move event. The components are, you must supply a component node reference. It will probably also work if you use the Panel refers, but I don't know I'd do it.

  3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

  4. are you referring to freezing except office mouse movement?

  It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

  I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

  Thanks, but I already did those things.  But I seem to have found the answer: I pointed out that the problem seems to be related to the modem broadband.  I found KB/810719 related to this issue.  I followed the instructions: in Device Manager / network adapters / properties / power management check only allow management Stations to bring the computer from sleep mode.  That fixed it.

  Your question is not quite clear to me, but this sentence "I can click on" show/hide elements "for the mouse, the text caption and select box to show or hide the slide." is ring a Bell! Have you used the "eye" icon in the timeline panel to "hide" the objects? That is not intended to hide the version published, only to temporarily hide for editing purposes, have has too many objects on the slide. If you really want to hide an object permanently, so it does not appear after the publication or during a preview (play Slide is not a preview, is also only for editing, synchronization) you must use the 'other' "eye" icon you will find at the top left of the properties of this object Panel. Quite confusing to have twice the same button to completely different purpose (there is even a third version in Drag Drop & who still has another feature, just hide the links in the D & D).

  Your idea should work perfectly and is how some would approach it.

  Another approach would be to just the part of the text of the State above the buttons.  This way you shouldn't have any code to display text as the button symbols have their States included with them.

• Adobe Captivate 5 - I need to add a mouse movement to a slide that does not...

  I am trying to create training/videos for a drawing software.  Captivate recognizes not that there is a movement of the mouse, as the mouse does not 'click' at the end of the movement, only the Enter key is used.  I need to add a mouse movement so that my clients can see the action taking place better.  I can't find how to add a mouse movement to a slide that is not a mouse already assigned to it.  Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.  Furthermore, I already tried a copy of another mouse slide... • Controls mouse movements MC Timeline?

  Well, I've looked everywhere to find an answer to this question, but nothing helped. It's here.
  
  Anyway, I have a movieclip that has 16 images that contain a 360 product view bitmap images. Lets call it mcProduct. What I would ideally happen, is to have the 'x' mouse who coordinates when the mouse moves that it plays through the timeline mcProduct.
  
  So from the middle of the scene, if you move your mouse to the right, it would move through the timeline mcProduct rotate the image to the right. And the other way around when you move the mouse to the left.
  
  I realize that the mcProduct should play timeline backwards at times. But I can't just write a script to navigate the timeline of the MC.
  
  Help, please! Feel free to email me or just post directly on the forum. I believe that a solution to this could really help a lot of people out there.
