Mouseover video sound video = promulgated

Hi guys,.

I'm working on a video for our Web site and I want the volume to be turned off but lights up when the mouse is hovered over the video.

I saw hovering to the sounds but I don't have an audio file; I want the audio from the video to become audible when hovered over.

Can someone show me how to do that by changing the code in the player below?

" < object width ="320"height ="240"> < param name ="movie"value =" http://fpdownload.Adobe.com/strobe/FlashMediaPlayback.swf "> < / param > < param name ="flashvars"value="src=rtmp%3A%2F%2F173.192.105.222%2FoflaDemo456%2Flive1 & loop = true & autoPlay = true"> < o nMouseOver_volume = 25 > < / param > < param name ="allowFullScreen"value ="true"> < / param > < param name ="allowscriptaccess"value ="always"> < / param > < embed src = ' http://fpdownload.Adobe.com/strobe/FlashMediaPlayback.swf "type =" application/x-shockwave-flash"allowscriptaccess ="always"allowfullscreen ="true"width ="320"height ="240"flashvars="src=rtmp%3A%2F%2F173.192.105.222%2FoflaDemo456%2Flive1 & loop = true & autoPlay = true "> < / embed > < / object > " "

The video is set to start automatically and that's what I want.   I just want to play in silence until the user puts the mouse over it.

Thank you very much for reading!   Chris

You can do this post in the forum Flash. As mentioned above, this should be done in the file Flash hold your component of reading. I don't know the code or the detailed features, but basically, you need to do two things. Each of them refers to properties of the component. First, you will need to adjust the volume to 0 at the beginning of the video. You may need to add an event and a landmark for this, nut it may be an easier way. To activate the sound, you can place an invisible button on a layer above the drive component and use the mouse in the event the volume of the video. You may be able to declare the volume level with 100 being the maximum, or simply turn the sound on or off, or both. The code is to reference the player through its name of the proceeding and any property that defines the audio level. Flash son I know can help you with the details if your using 2 OR 3.

  • video iPod 5.5 generation, Sound of Dock - None of helmet

    Hello

I've been browsing the forum here among others trying to figure that this somewhat strange question out and I finally decided to see if anyone here has an answer. I recently bought an iPod video 5.5 opportunity generation 30 GB (A1136, model #: PA446LL, SN: * V9N) out of craigslist. The iPod seems to be fully functional, aesthetically and hardware wise. Up to what I tried to listen to a song via the headset. To my surprise, there was no sound coming through the socket. If I turned the volume all the way to the top, I could hear a slight static noise (not related to music), so I guess that is under tension. I read online that this can be caused by welding cracked on the audio decoder or dac, so I tried pinching right/bottom right corners without changing the static at all. Thinking that I had just bought a broken iPod, I tried to play this music even through my car stereo receiver using the dock/usb connection and it worked perfectly. A little confused at this point, I took the thing out and inspected the cable jack and Ribbon of the helmet, the motherboard and audio chips. Everything went perfectly well, including headphones and cable, it was not folded connections inside and it was clean. I tried to press the chips on the motherboard, while playing music once more it is taken apart and it was not even a change of the static (when volume is 100%). I tried various headsets/headphones and with each of them, as you are connected to the socket you can hear precisely the left channel and then the right gets their power.

I've read only a few cases of this particular issue happening and the response to each of them was to get a replacement headphone plug. I am skeptical to do what I can hear both channels is fed fine, there is no audio. I ask if someone who has some expertise on this motherboard (820-1975-A) knows where the problem lies (audio impeccable out Dock but headphone jack has absolutely nothing). I have the tools needed for soldering and re-flow if necessary.

    I tried the things:

    -Different headphones/earphones

-Cleaning of the headphone jack/re-seating the ribbon cable

-Tighten more integrated chips while music played

-The 5 'R' apple suggests (including restoring w / mac & windows several times).

-Different file formats (ALAC, MP3, WAV (16-bit, 44.1 kHz))

    -Hard reboots

-Possibility of other things I don't forget

Things I'm NOT willing to do:

    -Return to the craigslist seller

-Apple call / go to an Apple store for a replacement

-Buy a new logic board (I understand the one I may be impossible to fix)

I appreciate your time and I hope that the heart of this problem can be highlighted!

    Bump, still having the issue.

    Hello

Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in Flash Player settings. (See this article for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).

To turn off hardware acceleration in Flash Player:

    1. Go to the Adobe Flash Player help page.
    2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on this page.
    3. Click settings on the shortcut menu. The Adobe Flash Player settings screen opens.
    4. Click the icon in the lower left of the Adobe Flash Player settings window to open the display panel.

    5. Remove the enable hardware accelerationcheck box.
    6. Click close to close the Adobe Flash Player settings window.
    7. Restart Firefox.

This Flash Player help - display settings page contains more information about the Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you are interested.

Does this solve the problem? Let us know.

  • When you watch a video on Facebook, etc., the video part freezes and the sound continues to play until I have spend on them... Same video works fine on Chrome?

When you watch a video on Facebook, etc., the video part freezes and the sound continues to play until I have to go over it. I use Wuindows 7. The video will restart when I pass this pointer/mouse.
The same video (s) works correctly when you use Chrome?

This issue may be caused by malicious software.

Make a check of malware with several malware scanning of programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
All of these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.

  • No sound on YouTube videos since I updated from Flash Player. Anyone got a fix?

There is no sound on the videos from YouTube and videos on any other site that uses Flashplayer. Audio is well on sites that don't use Flashplayer. Have tried to reset Firefox, as well as the removal and reinstallation of Flash Player, but without success.

Thank you, but I had already checked the stuff related to the sound and figured out that the problem had to do with the plugin Adobe Flash Player (aka Shockwave Flash). I finally solved it by uninstalling Flash Player (using a special tool is downloaded by Adobe), the deletion of a bunch of files created by Flash Player in various locations on my computer and reinstall Flash Player. Instructions on how to do this can be found here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

  • When I play videos from VIMEO, all I get is the image and no sound. They work fine on IE, but suddenly won't be on Firefox. With the help of Windows 8.1.

This just started today. (I believe that yesterday there was an 8.1 automatic Windows Update when I shutdown - don't know if that is related.) Anyway, when I click on a video VIMEO - video VIMEO ALL - everything I get is video (photo), but no sound.

If I go to the same link in Internet Explorer, the same VIMEO video and audio play perfectly.

Videos from other sites, Youtube, etc all work seamlessly in a browser.

    Simple solutions for this fix?

I use a desktop computer Dell XPS 8700 relatively new with Windows 8.1.

Nevermind - I just ran an update of Firefox, and that seems to fix the problem.

  • Why Divx won't play video with sound on Firefox, but will play with sound on Chrome?

DivX will play movies based on the web in both sound and audio on Chrome.

DivX will play only video on Firefox.

I've deleted and reinstalled Divx on my computer.

I have a desktop running Vista.

I just became aware of this problem yesterday. In the past, I got no problem to launch these videos on Firefox with the sound and video.

I had this problem with videos at home yesterday as well.

I've also seen this conversation http://veehd.com/forum/viewtopic?f=523714 and it may be a codec problem? No one has confirmed yet.

Please post back with your results, it might help other users!

  • WebRTC does not work when the video or the sound is not present

We are a website with WebRTC that uses rooms for people to talk to each other. We want this service to be available for people who have only mic and sound or for some reason some don't want to share video (or audio). We use the EasyRTC (www.easyrtc.com) framework.

With Firefox, we encounter some problems. Firefox connects when someone has only video or audio, are all in the room (we have a text chat that works), but users Firefox cannot hear or see the person who shares only its or images. If the single user sharing audio or video using Chrome, this user can hear or see the Firefox user (!). We confirmed it on our own site, the tawk.com and the appear.in.

This may already be known to mozilla:

    https://groups.Google.com/Forum/#! Searchin'/easyrtc/firefox/easyrtc/prYy4VeJV8I/wbUi7Ze2GmkJ

It seems that more and more websites using WebRTC pop up (tawk.com, appear.in, vline.com , to name a few). Would be a shame if people couldn't use Firefox for these purposes...

I hope to see this problem soon! Or maybe there's some kind of workaround?

I am answering my own question as I mentioned in this bug report.

  • Linux_64, Youtube: HTML 5 videos are good sound black and buttons work perfectly

    Hello

    I have a Firefox update on a 64-bit GNU/Linux also updated (it's always PCLinuxOS).

Flash videos not work well enough (quite slow, but I guess that's normal), but I have a problem with HTML 5 video on youtube (haven't tried others): the buttons display correctly and are functional, the sound of the video is rendered without problems. But there is no video, all I get is a black image.
When I right click on "Stats for nerds", I see:

    Dimensions: 640 x 360
    Resolution: 0x0
    Stream type: https
    MIME Type: video/mp4; codecs = "avc1.42001E, mp4a.40.2".

All 'frames decoded', 'video bytes decoded', etc fields are empty (""-").

I tried to start firefox in safe mode, disabling hardware acceleration (which in any case does not work under linux, this?), empty the cache, none of this worked...

    What do you think?

You can try the media.gstreamer.enabled pref set to false to see if does send the multimedia file in a different format where you don't have the right codec to play the file mp4 from YouTube.

You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.

  • Sound does not play in Youtube videos.

When I look at a Youtube video in Firefox, there is no sound. The same video has sound if I watch it in Chrome. Also, other types of videos make it sound in Firefox. This started happening a few weeks ago. So far, the sound worked fine.

    I have Windows 7 and Firefox 23.0.1.

Thank you for you efforts. None of the suggestions has solved the problem. However, the sound began to play again his own. I don't know why it stopped working and I don't know why he has returned to work. But it's working now. Thanks again.

  • Video plays sound and no image in firefox

When I try to watch a video in a blog page, I get only sound and no picture. I can watch the same video very well with Google Chrome

I solved the problem by downloading and Installing Real Player. I don't know why, but the videos now play in Firefox. Thank you for your support and your response.

  • All embedded videos in articles of the internet and YouTube play sound but no picture

My problem started about 2 weeks ago. Before that, I could directly play any video on Youtube or any video embedded in a Web download.
Now video games, in the sense that I have sound and the time elapsed bar moves along the bottom of the screen, but there is no video, just a complete green screen. This applies to any video on Youtube or incorporated into an internet download.
I can still play any video I already downloaded on my PC, that this Flash Video or MP4 file.
The latest versions of Windows Media Player, VLC Media Player, Media Player Classic and Adobe Flash Player players installed on my PC.
The problem started at the same time there was a major update to my program free antivirus Avast (to the 8.0.1482 version), but it is probably a red herring, as I struggle to believe this might have something to do with the problem.
I also tried on Internet Explorer and the problem is all the same, it is not specific to Firefox.
    Can anyone offer a solution?
    Kind regards
    Barry
