  Sorry I should have to take a look at this earlier, but you have several versions of Flash installed. Having multiple versions of the same plug-ins can cause problems.

  Take uninstaller from here:

  And install the latest version here: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
  Notice that the link is usually an 'optional' offer for the McAfee toolbar in the middle pane you can untick this box as it is not necessary to use a Flash.

  Thanks for your reply. Safe mode made no difference. However, I know how you feel. If you are in normal mode (with a Web site open), and then you press F11 for full screen, it will automatically hide the address bar. However, if WHILE in FULLSCREEN MODE, you enter a new address and go to another Web page it will hide the address bar after moving the mouse.

  As the title says, my R60 freezes (no response from the mouse or keyboard) moving the mouse (that it either via USB mouse, touchpad or red dot-in-the-keyboard). Can I use the keyboard to navigate through the menus / use the computer normally, but as soon as I try to move the mouse, everything crashes after 2-3 seconds of movement and I have to force a shutdown, reboot and try again... same thing continues to be.

For those who do not know X-Mouse, it's a tweak by which the focus always follows the mouse. Very useful for several windows where you don't have to click to get the focus. Turn off completely eliminates the problem.

  Unfortunately, I personally used X-mouse for 15 years and you don't much like turn it off just for a program that cannot deal with an established mouse control mode of long date. I hope that this can be corrected for firefox, but I won't hold my breath.

  When I open a video from a website or Youtube, it will not continue to play unless I continue to move the mouse. I use a wireless mouse. Same problem occurs for downloads. If I don't move the mouse downloads freezes. This only happens on Firefox. I don't have this problem with Internet Explorer.   I tried the following on a machine not that different to yours and it seems to work.

  First, download the Synaptics driver on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Disable your wireless card (should be f12).

  Open Control Panel, open programs and features, right click on the Synaptics driver and select uninstall.

  When you are done, reboot the laptop.

  When windows has reloaded, open your Downloads folder and launch the installer of Synaptics - when this is complete, restart the computer again.

  Open the Synaptics settings panel, disable SmartSense, then check if the touchpad works now with a key on the keyboard is pressed.

  If so, turn on your wireless card and use the utility on the following link to prevent Windows 10 to update automatically the Synaptics driver.

  I believe that when you watch a video on YouTube or listen to an audio file of the computer hangs after a few moments, unless you move the mouse.
