move image size across new canvas keeping size

Hi sorry if requested before, couldn't find the answer here!

I'm creating a canvas size to 100 x 100 mm and place an image on all properly sized. I then get this image on a canvas of A4 size, so I can make several images to print on 1 sheet of paper, but when I drag the picture off the model 100 x 100 and the drop on the canvas of the A4, it does not appear in the same size, but about 50%.

Can someone tell me if I can fix it?

I'm trying to create a full image square sheet to be printed on a rollercoaster and save paper by getting as much on a single sheet as possible - I did this a few months ago and was working fine and have come back after a break and make it work!

Thanks for any help

Hi, I think it's because of the resolution: when you move a picture from one page to another, it will get the new resolution, so if your image in the A4 is 50% probably the resolution of the A4 is the double of the previous document.

To have the same size, pls get in the first document and check the size of the Image/Image that is the resolution. After entering the A4 document, check the size of the Image/Image that is the resolution, if it is different on the other check "Resample" and decrease the resolution to the same value of single images.

  • How do I keep the size of an Image when it is placed on a new canvas?

I've worked with a lot of different Photoshops, but recently, I was in another computer so I just Photoshop Elements. I was excited about its use and opens a blank canvas to start working with. When I pasted into another image, he immediately reduced the image to fit at the height of the canvas, which is not what I wanted. I want the image to maintain full-size when pasted in the new canvas.

I've scoured Google for an answer to this, but the answers do not work, I can not find them or my mind is not enough common sense to understand what they are saying about tech.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  • Reducing size of image makes things new and unwelcome to my png

I've recently upgraded to Photoshop 6 to 5.5. My job is to take large (1500-3000 pixels square) and their reduction to 256 or below. During the upgrade Photoshop 6, I started to notice that the images were looking a little harsher and less mixed with small amounts. I have included a comparison of the image once it is resized up to 192 x in both programs. The original image can be found here: Image. As you can see, there are certainly a different style of mixing pass that leads to a contrast high on the borders between colors and lines.

These images are used in a game, and the new CS6 images seem to get worse on the iphone than the old ones. Everyone recognizes what is happening here and how to correct or mitigate the problem? Any help or insight is appreciated.

  • CC 2015.5 settings dialog Print - Preview Image size incorrect

I just upgraded to PSCC PSCS5 and the last installed update.

When I was using PSCS5 I always had problems printing and have not used PS for printing since I Lightroom, which does a MUCH better job of handling the print job.

I try to print a picture on paper photo 4 x 6 on a new Epson HC-P400 (the successor of the R1900 and R2000).  The Photoshop print settings dialog box, with the preview of the image, seems to show that it will print a tiny part in the middle of the complete picture, even if all the settings are set to adjust the image to the size of the paper.

I'm afraid to try impression because this same issue has been a problem 5 or 6 years when I used PSCS5, and he would try to print the entire image, spray of ink everywhere inside the printer.

How can I get PSCC to correct preview and print the image to the appropriate size?

Here is a screenshot of the image in the main window of PSCC (reduced to 20%):

And here's the print settings dialog box

  • The image size is reduced to export

    Hello

I have a problem with lightroom 5. When I export images, the image size has been reduced. This error is new, an image which i does there is half an hour was created in the full size, when I export now, his is reduced by half (orginal: 5184 x 3456, jpg. 1707 x 2560). I have not changed any settings. Does anyone know, what to do?

    Please excuse my English basic

    Greetings

    Robert

    export.JPG

The size of the results is not exactly half, nearby.  Half would be 1728 x 2592 and yours is 1707 x 2560.

Is the problem that you are original are offline and you export from previews smart?   You say Original under the histogram?

Check the dimensions of the photo in Loupe by pressing the i (eye) button until you see the dimensions.  Having only a glimpse smart does not change dimensions.

  • Image size Presets

    Hello

I saved the new image size presets in Photoshop, but when I update they do not seem to migrate to the new version, I use Photoshop 2015, through creative cloud. The system is Mac running OS 10.10.5

    Graham

See this link for the predefined settings. It will give you an idea where the settings are located. You actually want a file called new Doc Sizes.psp located in the Photoshop settings file. This is the path to victory:

C:\Users\[user name] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2015\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 Settings CC

Names of preference files and locations in Photoshop CC

  • Basic image size problem

Seems I have lost a few basics about the sizes of the image.

When I create a new image, I want image must be made up of centimeters, not pixel, because the pixels do not tell me anything of the physical size of the future picture. So, when I do the new image to 4 x 6 cm, seems that Photoshop does not know is that a cm! So I have to manually "guess" how pixels are there a cm in order to make this cm as real as a 'leader of real life".

I am sure that this problem has been asked several times, but I have not found the exact type. I know that Photoshop does not know how many pixels my LCD has, that's why he asks on pixels per inch or pixels per cm in order to create a picture.

I would have this problem solved somehow, so that when I create a data mm image into a square, Photoshop CS would know the pixels in my monitor and I would not guess pixels...

Basically speaking how to create an image with the "actual size"?

When you create a new file, you can set this specification.

Also, with one trust you open and view > leaders verified, by right click on the rule you can make that adjustment

If, however, you want to set your res file so that it matches the actual size measured with a ruler, follow these instructions:

For the image that will be presented to a cm on your monitor is a cm of the image, you must determine the resolution of your screen. Here's how:

    1. open a new file: 500 px of width and depth.

2 see 100% of the size.

    3. use a rule. Measure the width of the image to the screen in cm.

4 divide 500 by the width of the screen image.

Result: Resolution of the screen in terms of pixels per cm.

    Next:

Define your image at this resolution by going to:

    Image > Image size

Enter the size of the Document screen resolution: resolution field

    ***

Don't forget: This allows you to create a match of sovereign of image and is not designed for sovereign-to-print match because its resolution is probably too low for quality reproduction. It would be wise to make an image of dupe for your rule of corresponding image.

  • Export the LR5 Image size

I used LR a good amount and you have not run into this problem before.trying to export images for use in Wordpress (resolution 1620 x 720) and that I put the 'image size' parameters as 1620 x 720 and 'dimension', 'pixels' and 'resolution 300', she continues to their output to 960 x 720.

The original file size is 3264 x 2448 in JPEG format.

    Also, I use Lightroom 5.7.

Any thoughts on what keeps me out in my size?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Best,
    Glenn K.

You first need to crop the image to a lengthening of 1620 x 720 (or equivalently of 9 x 4), and then when you export with the 1620 x 720 size settings, you will get what you want.

  • CS5. When I flatten layers in an image size is increased from 100MB to 50MB. Why?

I'm using CS5. When I made a few adjustments (layers) size was 100MBs. It was a photo of a painting. When I flattened the image size is gone to 50MBs. Why? How canI keep original size?

Because you have more one layer all layers that you have been merged into a background layer without any layer mask.

    Hello

Please help me, when I try to resize the file psd his watch this message... .whats the matter?

"Could not complete the command image size because that file name is not valid"

    Thank you!

I had the same problem with you and tried to look around, but I solved it myself. One or two layers created by the insertion of your library which have been uploaded to the server cloud.

When you open the file, you can see the warning as "recreate a link... blah blah your file" If reject you the message, you can still work on it, but you cannot resize, or drag all layers to other new file (tried).

Everything you need that discovering the layers that are related to the server delegating and delete it. FACT.

  • Is there a way to return to the window "Image size" traditional?

In the new CC in Photoshop, there is a new window simplified "image size."

I would like to return to the previous mode. If I change straight pixels or measurements, taken a pop up.

We do print and web, so sometimes you need pixels, you need sometimes inches or mm. But we used change them in right way, now you must choose via pop-up. This differs from the workflow.

There is no way to return to the classic Image size box. You will need to use a previous version of photoshop for this.

  • the sequence does not match my image size

    Hey,.

I start the new project choose standard PAL video as below:

    Video settings

    Image size: 720: 576v (1,0940)

    Frame rate: 25.00 FPS

Format of the pixels: D1/DV PAL (1.0940)

    Fields: Bottom field first

Then I did in Photoshop framework of ornament size 720 x 576 and 300 DPI and the import of my project but I discovered the sequence window does not fit my frame. And I have no idea why, when sequence and framework of ornament are the same size.

    It looks like in below:

    ornament-frame.jpg

Does anyone has an idea what I am doing wrong? In the past, I've already done similar things, and there is no problem at all.

    Peter

The pixel formats are different. Your ornament PS is registered with you and square pixels video use 1.0940 paragraph use film to set the IRON to your ornament.
