  Your antivirus program may be unstable or corrupt.  Have you tried to uninstall completely, the removal of the program remains associated with it and then records by restarting the PC to reinstall the latest version from the manufacturers Web site?

  I have a Lenovo idea Pad S10 and I love it.  Its a great little machine.  I would like to make one or two questions please.  Can on put a larger hard drive and how much memory is the maximum.  I currently have 2 GB of memory.

  Also, I tried to do my income tax using it - I uses Taxcut and tried to install it on and the machine said he couldn't make Taxcut.  I suppose that the system is not big enough to cope.  If true that I very well because I have a desktop computer, but I was just wondering if we can get a bigger hard drive and if it would make a difference.

  Background: on my HP PC for years, I've created folders for each Member of our family.  Thus, a paper copy of each group photo were regularly filed in each issue of people pictured in it.  Migration to iPhoto and iMac five years ago, all copies of the same photo were transferred on my Mac.  More recently, I've migrated my iPhotos library of Photos.  I would like to clarify these multiple copies to a hard copy, but I feel of the complications and risks. In particular, the integrity of all the projects I did (for example attach a photo to the album, a book or a slide show) could be compromised if I happen to remove the copy special paper which refers to this picture (the correct term?).

  It seems to me that, if I could see the actual photos on the hard drive and use the double Finder here, I could get the job done.  I could combine that info (faces, keywords, descriptions) that I added on a large number of copies and sign him for a single copy and then to eliminate duplicates.   Independent of how this feature works, you want to have your photos in one place and have a backup (second copy) somewhere else. All hard drives will not be successful at some point - some more early, some late - never trust to have your files in any safety devices if they are on a single disc. Once you have your sorted, it would be useful that you will organize/name/tag new photos immediately if the task is relatively short and simple. I copy my photos on my internal hard drive for my camera, take a quick look with preview to see who needs some changes and then decide where to put them - either drop them immediately after naming them or bring in an editing application and then file them away.

  Thank you Joe Maniac.  I deleted the original linked files on my internal hard drive which were dng files, but had copies of the raw files edited and edited the exported raw files (in JPEG format).  I don't have copies of dng files.  So what I ended up having to do was import the original raw files which then made a DNG copy on my internal hard drive.  The link has not changed, but now the files were back in the original track for missing photo alerts disappeared and I was able to see my change history.  The process has been painful, but without the dng, I had nothing to do a link to more if at least re-import them files has recreated the dng.  I don't know if there was an easier way, but it seemed that the problem did not the link deletion.  I use LR for a few years, but it was a rookie mistake, precipitated by my hard drive being so jammed up I ended up delete what I shouldn't.  I should have just moved the dng and the link to an external hard drive.   My advice make a library of portable split is a general guide, but as such, it has all sorts of details that you may not need.

  I guess you have previously installed iTunes such as library files were in the usual place of C:\Users\ < user > \Music\iTunes but the media were on an external drive, for example in X:\ < Media folder >, and no longer have access to the old library, or are perhaps new to iTunes, then so be it you will need to start over again. If, then hold down the SHIFT key when you launch iTunes. Keep now until you see a prompt to create or choose a library. Click on create and make a new library at the root of the external drive, i.e. as X:\iTunes , where X is the drive letter of the external drive. Once this operation is complete, use Windows Explorer to move the existing media folder within the X:\iTunes\iTunes Media, rename the folder that you moved as say other media to avoid any possible confusion in the future, select the menu with Ctrl + B bar and use file > add folder to library, to import the file to other media in the library. Will everything that iTunes adds to the library be shuffled around. All that remains in the other media will be happy that iTunes does not know what to do with such incompatible media or album art carried out by Windows Media Player. You can sift throigh this, take what you want and use replacements for all players what you keep.

  @mikeh95269662 - Yes, you can store files in Active CC but have not in your creation Cloud Files folder on your computer.

  Creative application Cloud Desktop open the Preferences and move from the general to the creative cloud tab tab. Then, under the creative cloud Apps tab switch to the files and sync on / off select disabled. This means that no files will be synchronized.

  Hi amireos,

  Yes, you can create your workflow where you can keep all your images on the external hard drive and the Lightroom catalog file as well.

  If you start with Lightroom and then use the Destination location as external hard drive when you import your image of the external source such as a camera or SD.

  If you already have your Images on the Mac HD drive, then play all your Image on the external hard drive first and then import images directly from there.

  Finally, you can change the location of the Lightroom Catalog as well.

  Default location: folder on the Mac Drive HD, there is folder called Lightroom that you can move on the external drive too (however catalog Lightroom can't memory space as its only import previews of the images is not the real image and full)

  Once you move the file catalog Lightroom external hard disk, then you need to browse the catalog file when you launch Lightroom only once.

  I was a little confused on the way Thunderbird handles the local folder. My local folder is not strictly local, but IMAP as my account records. I would like to be able to unload some of my old files on my hard drive and have them always accessible via Thunderbird. The question becomes greater now that I use a lot of server space, and since this is a business account that I would rather not remove them. I want to archive them. I tried archive but it is just another IMAP folder and so is my local files. Initially, I found having the local convenient IMAP folders because I could file emails from multiple email addresses into common folders and easily get to them via my PC or my laptop because they are IMAP.
  All I want to do now is to archive some of my old emails, so they are no longer on the server. How can I do to make it. I thought it should be an easy thing but now after having spent a few hours looking for a solution and finding I'm frustrated. Everything I've read suggests that the local folder should be stored on my hard don't drive not the server, but this isn't my experience.
  Any help would be greatly appreciated. (I use Thunderbird 24.3)
