Hi mbelva,

Moving images from your hard drive to a memory card or vice versa is no different to move files from one folder to another. Insert your memory card into your card reader and then open Windows Explorer. Make sure that your memory card is recognized by Windows. If it has you should see it in Windows Explorer in the left pane under computer. Then locate the pictures you want to move, and either drag them from the folder on your hard drive to your card or cut and paste. Remove the memory card when you are finished.

  • OJ6480 am not able to import photos from the memory card inserted in the printer to laptop?

I can't import pictures from my memory inserted in my OJ6480 card.  I am connected with USB and nothing appears automatically after you insert card.  Also, I used the menu photo option and he doesn't want me to import.  Help, please!  Thank you.

    Hi cafahr,

I understand you are trying to print photos from a memory card.

I find the user manual for Officejet 6480 and found the following.

After taking pictures with your digital camera, you can print them immediately or save them on your computer. To save the pictures on your computer, remove the memory card from your digital camera and insert it into the slot for card memory on the device.

    To save your photos

NOTE: Use these instructions only when you use a network connection. If you are using a USB connection, then a dialog box appears automatically on the computer when you insert the memory card into the device.

    1. Insert a memory card into the suitable location on the device.
    2. press on the picture Menu.
    3. press the arrow keys and select Photo transfer and then press OK.
    4. press the arrow keys, and then select Yes.
    5. press the arrow keys and select transfer to computer, and then select the name
    of your computer.
6 follow the prompts on the screen on your computer to save the photos to your
    computer.

From what you described, the question is simple, the dialog box does not appear on the computer. What happens if you start it > computer or workstation? Do you see something here that looks like it could be the card into the printer?

Try to leave the printer and unplug the power cable (with the inserted memory card), leave the printer unplugged for about a minute and then plug it back. I want to see if this will push the communication to the computer.

Have you used this memory card in the printer before successfully? I ask because the problem may be the memory card or the memory card reader in the printer. Take a look at this link, memory card troubleshooting.

I hope it's useful. If the problem persists, please return with answers to the questions I asked, I'll gladly do some additional research and return with possible solutions. Please also let me know if you use a Mac or a WIndows OS.

I worked on how to record photos (attachments email; when the Save button is facing the edge, it was a bit a helping hand), and I save on the memory card.  But where did they end by?  How to access photos on memory card?

Thanks to some research by keywords, I fell randomly on the charges which do not seem to be accessible via folders Photos/camera...  But I can't find to display the new anywhere and the charges that should be here are not visible to me...

In addition, how to change the order of the files, or indeed the names of files in the files of the device in the Photos app?

Have now managed to connect using the USB cable, so access SD card and move the photos to the visible file to the Photos app.  It's DCIM - camera.

They are then visible on the Photos (first page is always useful), as well as always appearing on the records of the unit.

  • Appeare photos and videos have disappeared to a destination and the memory card folder after a halt during the transfer.

I was downloading photos and videos from a memory card to camera in a USB card reader. After that most of the photos and videos (about 245 to 249) have been downloaded, asked me to jump on the last bit. Now, no pictures appear in the folder where I kept them or on the memory card. I get an error message when I try to eject the card reader. How can I recover pictures, because this is my only copy?

    Hi JanetSmart,

    • Have you tried plugging the card on another computer to see if it works fine it?
    • What is the file format of the file 29?

It could be a virus, I would also say that you download and run the latest Microsoft Security Scanner to scan the card and check if it helps:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: the data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.

    Hi Vladimir

    > I am not able to move applications to the SD card.
as indicated by the user SlateIsHandy, impossible to move apps to SD card.
This is a limitation of the Android system. For as far as I know that this was not possible in the first version of Android ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) and Jelly Bean

  • put photos on a memory card, through my printer

I'm not sure I have the right forum.

I am trying to put pictures on a memory card, the card will then go on my digital photo frame, I put the card in my printer which is smart Photo 5520 and I use windows 7, when I did it before with another printer, the card came as a removable device, and then I did just to drag the image on the memory card icon I did it with my Epson but my HP printer won't.

I asked all the time and the girl who helped me it paired with the Internet, I saw my pictures on it, but she wouldn't let me put more photos, that's why I'm asking again, I hope someone can help me, that I know that the idea at all, I'm not a computer buff, I only know the basics I thank you in advance to anyone who is kind enough to help me

I would actually try an external memory card reader and see if it works with this drive. You can buy one at any computer supply store.
