• The files move in Lightroom 6

  Since the update of Lightroom 6, I can is no longer always sort the images.  For example, I import my pictures from a card in a new folder, and then create additional folders to the new folder via right-clicking on the previous folder and selecting "add a folder". When I try to drag an image to the new folder I get the change of cursor over the symbol '+' and is normally except the file never moved to the new folder.

  I used lightroom almost every day since its creation, is not new to me - and it worked properly in all previous versions.  I'm dragging the image, not the grey box. I created all the files WITH lightroom; I rechecked that read/write permissions are granted. I optimized the catalog; I downloaded and installed the latest version and the latest operating system;  I've read several forum discussions - none seem to relate.

  Any idea that it might be?

  I'm on a MacBook Pro running 10.10.4 with a 2.6 ghz, processor i7 with 16 GB of memory and a lot of space on the hard disk.

• Blur of movement/before Lightroom and Photoshop

  Hello:

  I'm interested in control/motion blur in photography, before Lightroom and Photoshop.  A lot of photo subjects (for example, the leaves, the cars, the waves) is moving.  I calculated the size of the pixel of a photo.  It is not only the information to pixels of the sensor.  For example, with a certain lens zoom and focus distance, each pixel represents a definable area of the image.  Then there is the printing area, which corresponds to the original area of the image.  There are a lot of variables to consider.  Movement both within and beyond each pixel affects the image.

  I'm interested in literature, documents or people who will guide me in the understanding of the control of movement/blur in the picture.  With this, my photos will be much better, and easier to modify.

  There are 3 variables to consider in digital photography;

  Shutter, f-stops and ISO speed. To reduce motion blur, the best way is to increase your shutter speed.

  Fly and get these pixels out of the autopsy table.

  Take photos, adjust certain variables, take a few pictures.

  Obsessed by a granular level will take you far actually take pictures, or at least all of the pictures that are going to feel proud of.

  We all want the excitement of taking a great photo.

  But they are ultimately dependent on more heart than cold logic.

• I tried to move 6 Lightroom to my new computer.

  The original files (23,000) are on an external hard drive. In my new computer, I have a 5 TB harddrive, so I copied my original files tot the new hard drive. I downloaded a copy of Lightroom 6 and imported the original files and also Lightroom Lrcat. Apparently, something has gone wrong. I lost collections and also impossible to edit the files I get a message that Lightroom cannot find the original files. If there is a simple method to solve this problem, I will be very happy. If not, where can I find a person who can solve this problem for me (in Dutch).

  I use lightroom 5.7.1 and I noticed that there is an upgrade to Lightroom CC (6.0, 2015).

  When I tried to download it, an error has occurred: Creative Cloud Installer could not perform the action and error 201.

  I'm going through 4.4 Lightroom at Lightroom 6 on a Mac under OS X (Lion).  I bought Lightroom 6 one update (I use Lightroom 4).  Lightroom 6 Setup continues to show that he can not find a product 'calling' and calls for a statement of the installed Lightroom product and serial number.  I'm currently under Lightroom 4 purchased through the Apple App Store in 2013; According to information that I can glean about this product... it doesn't have a serial number (if it was purchased through the Apple App Store).  Does anyone have an idea on how to provide a serial number valid for 6 Lightroom Setup?

  You don't need to transfer the license, you just need to install it on the second machine.  Your license allows you to have the software installed and activtaed on both machines.  If you already have installed on two machines, then you just need to disable it on one of them (using-> Deactivate)
