  A phone call with the technical support of Adobe has solved this problem. The disks mounted very well on my desktop, but don't would not appear on two new Macbook Pro. If you go through finder on your dock you are able access the disks to install just, they don't show the traditional way for Mac users. It works well, and I'm finally able to use my software on a new Macbook Pro hard earned. Thanks to Shay at the support which has been so helpful on a Friday evening at 18:00!

• Can I retrieve a picture from a video (in Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS5)?

  I am running Windows 7 and Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3.  Extract an image of one. MOV file is way over my head, but I want to try.  Right now the file is in Lightroom, but the options ' open in ' are grayed out.  I exported the file on my desktop and I can play the video with Windows Media Player.  I bet that somewhere, somehow, there's a way to do what I want.  Help, ideas or references would be very appreciated!

  When you say "Extract an image", do you mean save one executives as an image in Photoshop?

  Here's what you can do:

  1. open the video in Photoshop file > open and select the .mov file.

  2. once the video opens in Photoshop, open the Animation Panel, window > Animation

  3. in the Animation Panel, move the playhead to the desired image, and then save it as an image, file > save as.

  and Voila!

  Hi, I upgraded my old imac to a new. I bought a new Mac and I did not uninstall the Photoshop cs5 and illustrator cs6 my old imac. While installs the software for my new imac, the screen invited that I have already installed the software and I need to uninstall the previous computer to reinstall to another, but I already delete all files from my oldmac and impossible to uninstall. I contacted their 800 number but can't connect and I tried to chat with Adobe and a portfolio of error. I'm from Philippines, is there another number to call?

  Hi Ryan,

  You get the error like "too many activations. It is always advisable to disable the software before uninstalling an Adobe product.

  However, you must contact Adobe technical support to have the number of activations to reset. Here are the coordinates for Asia Pacific:

  As I said earlier, the DNG Converter works ONLY on files, not on files.

  Do not target the individual files.  Target Of THE FOLDER that contains them.

  Make sure that said FILE DO NOT contain any other files , you have already settled before, or your settings will be eliminated when re-converted to DNG.
