Movement on a curving path

I have been using the query attribute in the window of editing effects.  From time to time, I noticed that I created a curved path that follows the image.  So far, I deleted the anchor points and started around.

Now, however, I would like to have an image move in a less linear fashion, but have no idea how I fell into what I was already thinking like a problem.

Any ideas how to do this on purpose?

PrPro, they are usually called speed and have even their own chart, since it offers Spatial and Temporal variations, depending on the exact effects of alterations. While I use ease-out/ease-in for most of my keyframes, Bezier curves are the way to go here. We can obtain very soft movements, by "pulling" the Bézier handles.

With the mini-montage in Panel of PrE 8 effects, things became easier. This, for me, has been improved and gets closer to PrPRo. Careful work and good Adobe!

  • Is it possible to create a text on a curve path in Photoshop 6.0 (Windows)?

    Hello

I'm new to Photoshop and Yes... I use a very old version of Photoshop (i.e. Photoshop 6.0).

    I wanted to know:

If it is possible to create a text on a curve path in Photoshop 6.0 (Windows)? If so, how?

Note that I don't want to create wraped text (using the Arc etc..).

Specifically, I want to type text along the bottom of a circular image.

I checked the various blogs that explain how do to the newer versions (or MAC version) Photoshop.

I use the version of Windows.

Thank you... I appreciate all the help!

Looks like you're out of luck.  Text on a path arrived with CS (Photoshop 8)

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Photoshop_version_history

I doubt anyone here will be able to test it with such an old version, but the things that come to mind create each letter on its own layer of text and using the transformation that is free to rotate and position.  Something else will produce bad bad results - unless someone else has a better idea.

Don't think that "hierarchical" not... think "trace". You can overlap paths while doing so it won't make any differnce in the end. There is no reason that you should only follow the outside of the shape. Overlap the paths when necessary to continue the curves.

  • Cut cleanly curved paths

Hello! So, I have worked to try to do this cleanly shaved an once-a-circle curve off the coast to the edge of the box, it is on the top, but instead I always end up with the result that you see below:

    Screen Shot 2014-02-05 at 5.52.12 PM.png

    Screen Shot 2014-02-05 at 5.52.50 PM.png

So, is there a way I can crop off the right edge instead of actually just shorten each time I try to get rid of the wick hanging there?

    Emma,

You can object > path > Outline Stroke, then cut the new full path where it coincides with the edge of the green part, remove the surplus and Ctrl / Cmd + J to close.

Or you can copy the green part and move it above the white trail in the stacking order (in the layers palette), select both and object > clipping mask > make.

The old path creates a new path with the right end, the skins of the latter form the surplus way.

  • Curved paths?

    Hi there-

I have CS4 and it's been ages that I used Fireworks and even more since fires of animated gifs. I shot this evening and I realized I couldn't select the points between a path beginning and end and then every time to change the path to a more curve.

    Isn't this possible in CS4?

I am working on a jquery solution but realized how much easier and 100% waterproof, with an animated gif. Unfortunately, since it has filtered graphics, the Flash export animated gif is not good enough... and Yes, the directive is to use something other than Flash.

    Thank you!

Fireworks don't trajectories. Flash does, however. If you want to animate along a path in Firewoks you must do it manually. One way would be to plot your path, and then create a form that you want to animate. Convert the shape to a graphic symbol. Place the center of the symbol at the beginning of the path. Click right to the condition of double track and symbol and chose. Move the symbol more far along the path in State 2 and then again duplicate. Move the symbol on the way and duplicate the new State.  Repeat the duplicate State and move the symbol until I end-state, the symbol is the end of the path. Hide or remove the path on each State and test play your animation.

  • How can I create a mix on a curved path keeping objects at the same distance?

I have CS3 and I paint a chart with circles on a curved line, but the circles should be spaced along the line.

When I create and set the curve circles bouquet at both ends?

Is it possible to keep equal space between the circles along the line?

    Thank you

There is no single provision for this. You can improve somewhat by repeated applications of object > path > AddAnchorPoints.

If you are using the right mixture to automatically generate patterns of an same object (e.g., nothing is really mixture), try to use a ScatterBrush instead.

  • Align objects or text on a curved path

I have a variable number of lines of text, I would like to organize along a semicircle. I would like the text to look like each text string is radiating from the circle (the way I like a semicircle).

I would do this in adobe illustrator

I would like that text to be spaced along the path depends on the number of lines of text I.

I've seen other discussions suggesting the mixing tool or brush tool. But both of these ideas does not really help me. The mixing tool would create shapes distorted in the meantime, twist and distort the text. The Brush tool would make each a little 'conical' text, and I'd rather have the text without such a "cone-shape.

I enclose a photo that shows half my intentions. In this pattern I began to turn the first 4-5 lines of text. I have plus-chaines of text (just at the top of the semicircle) I would also like to include the path indicates the semicircle.

The ultimate goal is to get each of these raditing of local-names of the advice contained in the little red tree.

Is this possible in illustrator to align text on a path like that? It is almost similar to normal objects align and distribute objects.

I'm working on a Mac OSX 10.5 Adobe Illustrator CS3.

Thanks in advance for your time and helpNJtree_fullmtDNA_02.jpg

You can use it too. In the image below, I typed the letter I with the Type on a path tool. The character Panel gives the full control of the distribution of the letter using kerning (space between two letters) and follow-up (space between letters) and also the height of the letter. Then, a brief text, separate, a compound path > Release and use the paths described in the letter, I paste each line of text on them. Smart Guides will make this easier.

Edit: if it's just a circle or part of it, you can use the suggestions in this thread http://forums.adobe.com/thread/992211?tstart=0

  • Image moving along a curve.

When you define an image to move, it is forcing them to move along a curved path. How can I prevent this from happening without having to move the anchor points to remove the curve?

I just thought of it. Auto Bezier interpolation has been created.

  • Odd spike in the graph of the position when using facilitated easier?

    Hello all-

I encounter this problem recently and can't seem to find a solution (TBH don't know exactly how you get it either).

Creating two keyframes for position of a layer, even when the thing is moving in a straight line with no other keyframes, I get this weird effect where the layer of sort of "wanders" out of the way before arriving at its final destination.  When I open the graph editor for post curve looks like this:

    Screen Shot 2016-03-29 at 3.04.15 PM.png

I want a smooth curve between the two keyframes, or a straight line, but rather boost MI get which is odd.  This continues to has and I can not find a coherent reason and its driving me crazy

Thank you very much for your help!

The default spatial interpretation gives the energy of movement. Sometimes when you set or move there is a small delay and you get a little pingpong or unexpected because of the energy in the movement movement when the position is changed by a keyframe. If you zoom in and look in the path, you can see which overlap the Bezier handles on the path. This problem is extremely difficult to fix in the graphics editor by dragging the autour values. When you set the default linear spatial interpretation this energy with all its vectors is removed, so you get straight lines between points. This can work very well for your entertainment, but most of the things I design works best with energy and curves.

If you have a problem like this example and you need to maintain a curve and want to smooth movement, it is generally easier to start in the Composition Panel by examining the path and use the tool (g) feather and modifier keys Alt/Op; ion and Cmnd/Ctrl to set the curve. Take this example:

Correct with the pen tool gives me this:

The other option is to adjust the speed Keyframe or keyframes Interpolation to smooth out the path and movement.

In most cases, if you want a smooth path, then it is better to start with the pen tool in the Composition Panel and then work on schedule. Then you can refine things with the tools of the keyframe. If you need to do a few poles using the graph Editor, it is usually a good idea to have the reference chart (speed in this example) visible and choose Edit Position to the position and the speed of change at the moment.

Because of the energy put into movement along a curved path editing speed or graphics of values can get really confusing. That's why I usually start in the Comp panel.
