  Just got an iPad Air to take advantage of the rise of LR on this platform

  I use Fujifilm camera Remote for a wireless solution to transfer images from the camera via Remote Camera on LR. This allows only JPeg transfer but that's all I want when working in the field.

  Two screen dumps stem from the Tablet and iPad. In the top of the page LH of the image the Tablet shows info image (shutter, Aperture, ISO, camera, and lens speed), with iPad presenting options for the assessment of the image. Can't seem to get the iPad to display the info of the image.

  Is this possible on the iPad with a JPeg image?

• iPad, screen Orientation change without moving the iPad? An application perhaps? Is this possible?

  I would like to have the ability to change the orientation of the screen without physically rotate the iPad vertically.

  Here's what I mean.

  I have the iPad on the desktop and I want to check the email in landscape mode, I move on the table horizontally to landscape mode and orientation should change. It is not for the moment. I have to raise the iPad on the table and to change the direction from Portrait to landscape and when I go back to an application demanding in portrait mode, I have to again raise the iPad on the table.

  I was wondering if there is a utility app that allows the switch without raising the iPad and turning to change direction.

  Yes a few apps will change your orientation when you start them. Try roating your iPad in landscape ounces landscape enable locking focus on the home screen (in the last control center) and then launch the application of it rotates so it's the app.

• Moving from iPad to personal employer (should I change ID?)

  I use currently an iPad has published work with an ID of apple related to my work email. I am changing jobs and will return the ipad and have bought one for my own future use.

  How can I manage proactively the transition? I have a shopping app on the iPad to work that I made myself and I want to transfer to the new device.

  Would it not be possible to:

  (1) change the personal email address associated with my apple to my email ID, then

  (2) log the new personal device using the same apple ID

  (3) transfer my own purchases

  (4) keep using it this way, now free of links from my former place of work?

  Or is the apple, id I created for the work will be permanently linked to them even if I change my email address?

  Do not try to keep what they bought for me, just my own music!

  Changes to the e-mail address on the AppleID should work sufficiently, but I can not stress the following:

  Make sure THAT find my device is off on EVERY device connected with labour AppleID before making this change.  I would disconnect icloud entirely after turning off to find my camera on these devices and ONLY change THEN the first email address to your personal one.  This will save you a lot of headaches

  I used to be able to drag an embedded image from one place to another (IE, a paragraph to another) with the small lock icon. With the last update which have disappeared. Now, I have to delete and paste my anchored images. Convenient feature has really been deleted or must it be activated?

  You can always change the position of the anchor by dragging the anchor to the selected image symbol:

• First Elements 10 - moving to the time line images

  Have version 10 and no manual is still available, so a simple question im sure.

  I say 100 photos that I want to spend in my film, make a slideshow of sorts.

  Y at - it a way for all move and set the time (or the number of images) as each image is displayed.

  So select all 100 images and move to the line in time and set the time to display every second one to 1 as an example.

  Is there a way to select multiple images on the time line and put them all to show for a while.

  I know that a silgle element can be selected on the time line and dragged manually to make a moment specifice,

  but this time can be entered by entering a value/time?  I would like to change the time on all 100 at the same time.

  My goal is to make a quick movement of pictures slideshow, be able to set the time on the screen for each group

  the same value, all of a sudden, do not have to select each on the time line and adjust it manually on a frame-by-frame.

• I moved all my images on an external drive folder and deleted everything

  I moved all my folder of images to a disk all deleted and external turned off my HD.

  How can I me Lr to find the new location?  On the new external, it is in a folder named -images which also includes iPhoto and photo booth files.

• Help with solution of Liz Castro iBooks bug when resizing images in epub for iPad

  Hello world.

  I create an epub for iPad with small images that will expand when they are tapped. I read Liz Castro book and blog article and learned the bug with iBooks and the solution, which, like an HTML novice, I found it difficult to understand.  It took me some time to make it work, but I just wanted to share my (imperfect) progress for other laity or secular and ask for help!

  I just add this in my template.css

  and in each of my html chapters where there is an image, I removed the img src reference that has been automatically generated by Indesign and added this...

  I rezipped my files, transferred to my iPad, and the images appear small and expand when double-tapped. Fantastic! Thanks to Liz Castro. It is a bigger step.

  But it is not perfect. I would like my image to be aligned to the centre and to ensure that there is some space between the text and the image. My images are now aligned to the left, and there is no space between them and the text preceding and following them, so that it looks like a mess on the page. Before I changed the code it worked well, after I changed it it does not work. When I initially exported the InDesign file, on the Image taitouche set the spacing to the Center and 2ems has added to the image and check the box to Insert a Page break before and after a page break.

  To remedy this, I added the following to the div.group in css

  text-align: center;

  top of the margin: 2em;

  margin-bottom: 2em;

  When I converted it to an epub I've seen there is no center of the image, but there was a margin at the top and bottom. While the file opens in the problem of Sigil that it won't transfer to iBooks on the iPad, which I think means that there is a coding error.

  Some things to consider:

  1 centering and space above and below your div can be done in CSS with:

  {div. Group}
  Width: 50%! important;

  top of the margin: 1.0em.

  margin-bottom: 1.0em;

  text-align: center ;}

  There might be other ways improve to achieve this. I am not an expert in CSS or HTML; I know that what has worked for me in previous projects.

  2. in iBooks, there is a bug (or "feature") which causes the iBooks to ignore text-align for some items (such as

  ) if iBooks preferences are set to full Justification = WE. Instead of being centered, these items will be left-aligned (or perhaps justified? I have not tested). This is the default setting, so most users likely to leave like that. (the elements are not affected by this bug.)

  One of them is to wrap the text inside such an element in the empty tags .

  3. I don't know what is your target audience, but keep in mind that iBooks is far behind Amazon and BN.com in terms of volume sales. Kindle and the Nook do not support resizing images (again, in any case), so unless your book depends on this photo processing to deliver his message, you could put a lot of time and effort in a feature that few readers (yet, cases) can take advantage of.

  I have the eclipse plugin and when I run an app in the Simulator, simulator window appears and it is empty.  I use the Edit-> copy instant camera and then 'paste' in the painting and the image of the phone rises.  I looked around and I can't find another post with this problem, so any help would be appreciated.

• In what color space is LR mobile make the raw images share?

  The title says pretty much all this.  I installed LR on my iPad, import raw images captured with the Camera Connection Kit, previously made some changes and exported jpg by email to myself.  The files come into Photoshop as "mystery meat", i.e. without embedded profile, or even an exif tag.  I'm probably leaving sRGB, but it would be useful that Adobe would include at least the color space tag in the exported file.

• Image on a full-width layout fluid width

  I try to get a picture of full-width using the new fluid width in Muse CC 2015 page.

  I moved the edges of the image area to the outside edge of the page layout (pint, I can see a red line appears).

  But when I visit the site in Safari, the image remains a fixed width.

  Any idea or alternative work would be much appreciated.

  Try this in addition to the step, you already performed:

  1 look at the icon of scaling in the strip of higher order

  2. your stretching wide browser page by clicking on the double arrow to the left of the breakpoint bar.

  

• Y at - it a command to 'lock' clips to prevent them from accidentally move on a frame or two when moving to another track? (i.e. 'shift' in Avid?)

  When I edit a show, I will of course wind up with 3-4 channels of video at my rough cut stage. But then, for the final cuts, I always need to move all that there is only 1 video track. I have to do this, just select and drag down clips and cross my fingers that the arrows 'snap' is accurate and that's not really breaking a clip at random a few images. (Sometimes there will be a random audio clip on track 12 Let's say what happens to have a cut off images that first decides she wants to align, which leaves me with flash Gogo images unless I zoomed down to each clip... that is annoyingly time!) For example, in Avid, you can hold the 'shift' button you move clips up and down any number of tracks. This is particularly useful when you do a half hour or hour long show and you can just select any given track and then hold SHIFT and probably know that they are all moved down perfectly and not accidentally moved on any amount of images. Sorry for the explanation too, just can't think of how real this feature is called!

• I can't import photos from the iPad

  It returns an import error whenever I try a mini iPad import. Images can be viewed in Lightroom and imported using iPhoto.

  I recently migrated library Lightroom for a PC-don't know if it's relevant.

  Under Lightroom 5,7 I have Mac with Yosemite.

  The error "cannot be read" means that there is a problem of permissions to write to the destination.
