• My wish list for the next version

  I'm quite new to Muse. I am currently developing a trilingual site for my own business.

  Here's my first wish list, after a few days of use (some of my desires are already available, but I have not found how to get them)

  1. menu widgets: currently, there are 3 options to decide on the content of a menu: 'All pages', "Top-level Pages" and "manuals".

  It would be greate to get some new options like:

  • "All the pages under a certain page" (which corresponds to tree full under a certain page)
  • "The pages of top level under a certain page.
  • even better (but may be more difficult to achieve): all pages of the current subtree from the level 2 page (it will be great for multilingual sites: it would be very easy to develop these sites by using the following site map:)
    • to the next level: home, language1,..., N language
    • in respect of each top-level page: the tree of the page (the site) for the language
    • .. .and it would not need different masters for each language! = > very simple to develop, high level of consistency...

  2. menu widget (but in fact, this wish is for any King of multi-party widget):

  It would be very useful to be able to copy - paste all graphics & behaviours (including properties) property of an element to another: this is especially true for menus with submenus containing and manual content: currently, if for example I have a menu with 5 top level items and a submenu for each of these 5 elements, the setting I put for the first submenu are not automatically replicated on the submenus of the other elements of level superior and I need to perform the same job 5 times! This could (should) be preventable.

  3. Japanese / no Western fonts:

  I would be more than welcome to get fonts non-Western menu of fonts for text objects, even if the Muse language setting does not match those fonts.

  For example, I want to work with the English user interface, but I need to access Japanese fonts!

  I don't see any technical reason or no business reason for not allowing this!

  4. the Japanese WEB (safe) fonts:

  It would be more that welcome to be able to add some Japanese (non-Western) fonts, and same course systems setting the interface language user of Muse does not match Japanese (non-Western language)

  We currently have all work in an international world and the market. It is simply false to think that people who work with a certain language of the interface user only want to work with content in this language! Language of the INTERFACE of software and content language are two totally unrelated things!

• I use hp eprint and that you can not set the e-mail account. Should what settings I use for the Description, host name, Port and use SSL?

  I downloaded hp eprint app and you cannot configure e-mail account

  I suggest you ask on a forum of HP. It's nothing to do with Thunderbird, as the eprint software connects directly to your email provider that I see.

• How to check my hotmail (while zooming) e-mail messages without having to scroll down to each new e-mail (after pushing to the top of the arrow for the next message)?

  You can "zoom in" all sites using this add-on: NoSquint. After setting your overall zoom level, you can still adjust the zoom on different sites.
  After the installation of NoSquint, click on the % in the bar of the add-on call site preferences, then click the global settings button, then the zoom tab.

  If you do not have the bar the module displayed, you can click the new tab button ("+") or a box empty bar tab to the right of the item and choose the module bar on the shortcut menu.

  You can experiment with sizes greater than 125%, but I wouldn't not much higher than 150% unless you have a large screen high resolution.

• When I add bookmark (Apple D), if it is already listed then my only option is to move it from its original folder or go later than in copy/paste a second copy. Is there a change of preference around that? Or, can you make one for the next version?

  I wish I could save a bookmark in both places without moving from one folder to another if I already have this bookmark saved in a folder of bookmarks. I write a lot of papers and love to go to the different materials.   It has been like this since Firefox 3.0 was released in June 2008 - 7 major version releases so far with her like that and the developers have not changed - so I wouldn't count on it.

  I just got back my repaired MacBook Pro and cannot get my email Yahoo Server.  Update of the logic board, memory, and a new design was needed.  I got home yesterday, and since them, I've not been able to get my yahoo sbcglobal.net email.

  Make sure that the ALT key is not stuck

  Recovery methods:

  If you use XP/SP2 or SP3, and are fully patched, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.

  To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.

  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

  Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.

  Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.

  First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.

  If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.

  If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.
   
  If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:

  A general warning to help avoid this in the future:

  Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

  Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages.   I'm working on an application where many different types of devices will be put into a test set-up for Board level testing.  Depending on the type of Board, I need to create an ordered list of all necessary tests for the device.  I have a state machine and a single State for each of the tests and try to figure out how to create a list of tests for the specific device.  I want to have control in each of the States to remove the first element of the list and then take the next value and he lead the shift register used to go from one State to the other.  This should allow the state machine switch to the appropriate State based on the type of device and its sequence of necessary test.

  It should be with a table?  Is there some containers easier to work with this use case?  I need a container that will allow me to easily add between 5 and 30 names of State (based on the needs of the unit type) and easily remove or increment a pointer to the next State in the container.
