  If you have both the same elements exact the edict should open normal upward. Where I work we constantly are simply the prproj file because we all have exactly the same elements of edition, such as the lower third, bumps, voice-over, music, promotions, entertainment.   However, as Steven mentioned correctly, you can go to project > project mananger and you copy all your clips into a new folder. You can create a cut version of the project or a full version of the project. But if you and your interlocutor, that both have the exact same thing, so you should not need similarly to use project mananger, if add you a link to all the media correctly there shouldn't have been any question, I did this literally 1000 times and never had a problem unless I accidentally hurt linked something.

• Moving project between first CS5 and CS5.5 will not work... Help!

  If all goes well installed CS5.5 sparer dir and tried to import the CS5 project. Well he opened very fast but then he had trouble scouring the project. It seems that CS5.5 dislike some mov files. I tried to create a new empty project to 5.5 and just imported these "problem files", but then it works very well with the washing and rendering. There is no open problem the project in CS5.03, everything works perfectly there. So what I did? Yes, I backed up my c: drive and formatted, it... 28 hours later I installed everything nice and fresh with only the CS5.5 version on my drive. That worked better? N° !!! the same problem. After another 15 hours of trial and error, I got my "blessed of God" has registered C:disk. As far as I understand that this problem seems to be a problem with 5.5 and not my setup of the computer with codecs etc.? If there is someone out there who can help me?

  It is indeed true.  Adobe is aware of the problem and working on a fix.

  No, this is not possible. Lightroom requires the catalog to exist on a hard drive (internal or external) that is directly connected to the computer running Lightroom. The best way to share images between computers would be to have the catalog and images on an external hard drive, they can be moved between computers.

  I already use FIrefox Sync option, and I love how it works. I like how it saves my bookmarks, passwords, history, etc., and it is easily accessible from my laptop.

  There is one problem that I have, that is how to synchronize groups of tabs between computers? I already know I can click "Tabs from other devices", but it will be either open them individually or you can select more than one, but in any case I see my tabs in groups. I have so many tabs and I have six groups.

  I tried to use other applications like Manager Session, tab Cloud, Session box, and they all do the same thing. They are great to save your tabs, but none of them save in groups. When I try to open all the links will open in a group.

  Hi vegsire, creating folders in bookmarks tab also is a good approach because it is much less fragile than tab groups in the session history data.

• How to copy files between computers on the LAN

  I have a wireless network at home. How can I copy files between computers?

  You have access to the files on each computer in the another computer - can you open and read them?  In other words, the network connection is working properly and you have the permissions of files and folders?  If this isn't the case, after return and we will address this as a separate issue.

  If so all you need to do is open Exploere Windows on a machine, and map a drive to the C:\ drive on the other machine.  Here's how to map a drive to another computer: http://www.vista4beginners.com/Map-Network-Drive.  You "got to do thi on the other machine if you want to share files in the two directios.

  Once done, open Windows Explorer and go to the drive where, the file to be copied, right-click on it and select copy.  Then go back to Homepage Windows computer and select the drive where you want to copy the file (in this case, the mapped network drive).  Go whenever you want to copy and click the folder where you want that he stored and right-click and select Paste.  The file will be copied.  That's all there is to it.  Once the mapped drives copy really works exactly as it does if you have just one computer that you are handling.

My wired desktop backup is fine. NA not lose that connection.

  Me too, I unfortunately have the same problem.

  Installed a replacement wifi router and lost access to a NAS. And it is the only element that would not be re - connect...

  It's the config probably simple setting of the wireless router with the IP Address of the NAS (10.1.10.199 if this is of any help), but it's clearly a mystery to find useful info on how and what to configure...

  Unfortunately, it was easier under XP...

  For several days, my calendar application (part of Mail, calendar & people) was not properly synchronize between computers.  If I run the application modern calendar on my Dell laptop to update Pro Windows 8.1, at a meeting of current calendar, it seems that I can make entries but after reboot the same computer or on another computer, the entries are lost.

  I thought that the answer might be that I need to uninstall and reinstall the app Mail, calendar & people.  But when I do, I meet the download of Windows Store pending problem that never ends and you try to run the troubleshooter Windows Update store still hangs on the re-registration of the Windows store.  None of the fixes suggested in the thread on the subject works for me:

  I am answering my own question as I've found running a registry cleaner on the affected computer registry errors found especially for Windows Store.  After the repair of the registry, Windows Store downloads work properly and I am unable to reinstall the Mail application, calendar, & people and it now correctly syncs between computers.  The registry cleaner that I happened to use that figure in the Norton Utilities 16 but I guess any other good registry cleaners might work as well.  Utility for troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Update store never work properly and that's it for me.  He would always hang on the re-registration of the Windows store.

  Microsoft must make its app Store Windows more reliable than to make a crucial Central application for Windows 8 (the application Mail, calendar & people) more robust and more functional.  I used the software to Microsoft for more than 32 years, but repeated like this with Windows 8 experiences are very encouraging.

  If you want to copy (not move) a layer to another file, click and drag the layer in the layers Panel on the other image.

  'Move' means remove the layer from the source file.

  You cannot synchronize between computers, what can be done if, for the information of your E2 to the Vista 64 bit PC Sync via bluetooth. You can check in your device manager to see if the PC has already installed bluetooth. If it finds just the port bluetooth on your PC, put the E2 a few inches from the PC and in the hotsync Manager choose to hot sync through bluetooth. If you have not already installed on your PC, you will need to purchase a bluetooth USB bluetooth dongle, install the drivers that come with it and then synchronize. The first time you sync it might take a little while that according to the amount of data you have on the device.  I hope this helps...

  I keep all of my current sites on three computers. A desktop and two laptops. It helps to have a dedicated sites for flash player and I try to only make changes on one system (the office) and then copy the updated sites on laptops for the meeting with customers and remote download. If I have to make changes to the location of the customer, I have simply bring home updates and copy them on the desktop.
