MozBackup deleted backup account, subfolders and Thunderbird emails

There is no support forum for MozBackup and my two emails to the developer remained for months, so I am posting this here.

MozBackup usually saves a Thunderbird account, I deleted, including subfolders and emails that existed in this account. The account has been deleted in Thunderbird and seems no longer to exist there, but it is supported on several occasions. MozBackup says it's backup "Mail\name of account\name removed from the subfolder of account\name removed from the email deleted in this subfolder." A rollback restores the old account in its entirety, with all the emails. An upgrade to the latest stable version of MozBackup, 1.5.1 makes no difference. Various improvements in Thunderbird make no difference. I am currently using 24.4.0.

How can I get rid of entirely, this account of "ghost"?

Open the profile help menu (ALT + H) > troubleshooting information.

Click the open file button and then close Thunderbird.

In the Explorer window to open the mail folder, you will need to manually delete the entry here for your old account. Note that accounts are a folder by using the name of the server of the account. A digital suffix indicates multiples of the same thing. Although it could be Bill@gmail and Bob@gmail and Fred@Gamil would be googlemail.com googlemail - 1., googlemail - 2.com so a duplicate is not automatically a duplicate.

original title: Windows Mail lost all subfolders

All of my Windows Mail subfolders and the emails contained in disappeared mysteriously.  I closed Windows Mail with all folders and opening Windows Mail again the next day, only the default folders (Inbox, sent, etc.) were present.

I created a new folder named "Test" that I can see has been saved in "C:\Users\San\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Local Folders" as well as other folders by default, but I can find no trace of my 20 folders + that I had previously.

Nobody knows what could have happened and if they might be elsewhere on the HARD drive?  I have run several searches looking for folder names, but so far have developed in white.

  • How do you delete an account without opening Thunderbird?

I'm having a problem where whenever I open Thunderbird (38) it freezes. I am convinced that the problem lies with my Comcast email account, I created a new profile and that you have NOT configured the account from Comcast and Thunderbird worked without problem.

This problem occurs on 2 different PC from Windows using different versions of Windows (8.1 year 10)

How can I remove the account from Comcast without opening Thunderbird?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I solved this is another way - although I "lost" my emails from Comcast.

I contacted Comcast and they had apparently changed the ports and it was enough to mess things up for me.

I got the new server incoming and outgoing of them info.

Created a new profile and set it to my personal email. Once inside, I created the account of Comcast.

I think that they also shifted a pop to an imap - or at least that's what I've done with.

The ports for those who have this problem - 993 IMAP and 587 (different from the default).

Other than that, it would be always useful to know how to enter the account settings without opening Thunderbird.

  • Button DELETE BACKUP on iPhone and iPad.  What it means?

I've recently set up my iPhone and iPad to save on iCloud with the help of the iPad CSA.  After reviewing the two parameters of iCloud, I found some articles that I felt to be odd.  (1.) I started to save manually (using Save button) my iPad, but had to stop.  Now is no longer the backup button appears and is replaced by the BACKUP to DELETE.  The devices now show the same key.  I didn't click on button the fear I might screw something up that I will not be able to recover from.  I made a mistake by stopping the manual backup?  (2.) there is an entry of the LAST BACKUP on both my IOS devices.  Last entry from iPhone backup-> yesterday (what she said on the last day of little), the last backup of the iPad-> NEVER.  How will I know if a backup has been performed?  I read notifications that alert me Inorder for the backup device must be attached to a source of energy (I guess that the device load) and connected to WIFi, which have done.

IAm sorry I'm asking these questions.  I'm new to the iCloud and because I just inherited my son's iPhone.  IPad recommended CSA I backup icloud because I asked if the devices can communicate with each other.

Thank you in advance and if you know of any Apple document would still be to educate about iCloud, I would like to know those also

    I thank again,

    Darrell

Deleting a backup should not affect your devices. Try storage of settings/iCloud/Storage/manage to see if the backup appear here.

  • Recover deleted account messaging and emails

Yesterday I accidentilly deleted one of my email accounts in windows live mail. I thought the slider was on an email when I pressed the button Delete, but I guess it was on the e-mail account.

I need to know how I can recover the account with all folders, subfolders and emails.

I have VERY important emails that I need to get emergency.

    Help, please!

    Thank you...

It is up to you. You do not restore to the original location; Maybe it's possible, but it is likely to confuse the message with unpredictable consequences database, and (b) you will lose all saved messages since the time of the restore point.

If you copy the previous version to your folder on the desktop, then you can import only the records you want to:

To import messages from this Inbox, select the parent folder (here called (b) NB). You will get the content of the other files (treaties etc.) too, but you can always remove them later if you want them.

For best results, click work offline in WLMail before performing the import and give the program some time to settle down before you do anything else in the program, such as moving messages to their final destination.

My computer crashed and I restore my my hard drive recovered Thunderbird email, how do I restore my old emails (stored emails and accounts)? I found 2 folders (a local sub) & another under roaming which appear to contain my email stuff. How in Thunderbird set up again to access my old emails/files? Also, I have three accounts/email configuration in my old email. Thank you!
    -Erwin

Create a new profile and copy the one above him. See this article for instructions.
    http://KB.mozillazine.org/Moving_your_profile_folder_-_Thunderbird#Create_a_new_profile_and_copy_the_old_one_over_it

Your old profile is located under "roaming."
For Thunderbird there is nothing that you need to restore from "local."
