Mozilla Firefox has disappeared when I internet?

Mozilla Firefox is gone when I go on the internet. I connect to internet but MF is no longer on the desktop to access and the only way to leave the internet is to shut down my PC. This problem occurred without any input from me.

Have you tried to create a new shortcut on the desktop Firefox?

You can create a new shortcut on the desktop Firefox via a right click on the element of Mozilla Firefox in "Start menu > programs > Mozilla Firefox ' or in the Firefox program folder.

  • (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
  • (Windows 64 bit) "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.

Right click on the element of Mozilla Firefox or firefox.exe program and choose: send to > desktop (create shortcut).

  • Mozilla Firefox has my evil place how can I fix or disable it.

It seems that most of the sites get my location of Mozilla Firefox. He is constantly wrong and doesn't move. Today, it was somewhere in Texas, and I live in Ohio. It is a desktop computer and does not move. I put it on several sites and I don't delete my cookies but somewhere along the line it gets changed. It seems that it gets changed in my Mozilla Firefox. I know you go on location of dsl or something, but it just doesn't work. Even when it happens in Ohio, it is constantly a different city. How can I get a permanent location in Mozilla Firefox or disable the Finder of any place in Mozilla Firefox?

Sorry - but Firefox works with web standards to use the IP address of the connection on your side or by using the function of geolocation to a wireless (WiFi) connection. Websites using the IP address of a connection to the functions of the Web site or targeted advertising is secondary to the initial goal to use the IP address of a connection.
"Logout" does not-sites Web knows where to send data you ask / look at one, you cannot be completely anonymous on the internet. And change the IP address is something that the ISP has control.

An I forgot to ask is - you use DSL, cable broadband / fiber, or a dial-up for Internet connection?

DIal-up is get you a different IP each time that you connect to your ISP. and based on the phone number used to connect every time - it could be "calling" different "built" around the State offices each time. 15 years ago, a person could "seek" the Exchange prefixes to know exactly where each phone remote access was found by the community name and maybe even the address of the building of the "room of frame. But with "the new AT & T" engulfs all the 'baby Bells' this information was probably lost sight of consumers such as websites individual 'baby Bell' have been merged with the websites 'the new AT & T ". And the issuance of a telephone number of nowadays is not dependent on

Broadband services usually "lease" (via DHCP) IP address for 3 days (72 hours), so it of up to you for at least as long and normally does not change. The "lease" is updated each time you use the internet, which extends the "lease" for every 72 hours. If you happen to spend 3 days without the use of the internet through this connection for 3 days or more, you may lose this IP address and automatically assign a different address.

The program has disappeared from my program list. The only thing he is an empty folder of Mozilla. I tried to re install several times but can not get fire fox for running or even provide an icon to launch it.

It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission get full and unrestricted, access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  • I get error messages when I try to visit some Web sites you use Mozilla Firefox, but not when I use other browsers

About two days ago, I noticed that when I tried to access some websites using Firefox, I always got this error message. "The connection was reset". Initially, I thought it was a problem with my ISP before noticing that the network was fine on my phone and the iPad. I tried and then open the same links which brought up the error message on the TorBrowser and it worked perfectly.

Basically, the only site that works right now on my Firefox browser is Google but if I do a Google search and then click on any link that appears so I get the same error message, "the connection was reset". I can also connect to my gmail account, but I can't access any other Web site including Feedly, Tumblr, Twitter, Yahoo, Wordpress, Blogspot, even though they work fine on my other browser.

I have cleared my cache and cookies, wiped out all browsing history, but the problem persists then I uninstalled Mozilla Firefox and reinstalled. The problem is still there. I checked the proxy settings, I went through all the solutions on this page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-cant-load-websites-other-browsers-can?esab=a & as = aaq and still nothing. I'm not sure what the problem is here, but any solution will be appreciated. I have used Firefox for years and I'm really not comfortable using a different browser.

I use a Macbook OS X Version 10.9.4 and the last Firefox 32.0.1

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

    See creating a profile:

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile already used in the new profile, but be careful not to copy files corrupted to avoid transporting on the problem

  • The trombone has disappeared when I receive an attachment!

When you receive an e-mail, there is a paper clip in the corner where you can watch or record. Mine has disappeared and to view the attachment, I have to open the e-mail, then click with the right button on the attachment in the attachment line. It's a pain.
How can I get the trombone to return? I know this may seem trivial, but it takes much more time!

  • After the last update, just that in my Firefox has disappeared. I'm sick to my stomach to this topic and I tried many suggestions but I can't get it back.

It's as if I never existed on Firefox. My page is empty of all my addons, toolbars, bookmarks, my reminder Fox, who held very, very important information and all my doctor appointments/reminders. This is a brand new empty page and a HORRIBLE purple colour to start. I'm just sick about it. In a lot of info that I read today, she says that Firefox saves the information out of sight for safety and so it is never lost. Well, everything I've accumulated and saved is absolutely lost. The problem of shooting information is of no use, nothing works. I will try the next steps, but I have little patience or faith left! I've been a Firefox user
[and lawyer] for many years, it's so disappointing.

It's awful. Could you find your old data in two places:

    (1) on your desktop, you will find a folder "old data Firefox?"

    (2) in your Firefox data folder, there are records of any additional profile? To verify that the start search menu, type or paste the following text, and then press ENTER:

    %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

Normally, you see just a file partially - random-named. Are there others?

Your Firefox data could be backed up to the cloud if you have created a Firefox Sync account before. But in the contrary case, your data is completely private on your computer.

  • Chase activity page has only to load the links "I wish" when you use Mozilla Firefox, but will be with Internet Exployer

Chase Bank is still making updates to their website. In their last update useful links on the activity page simply doesn't appear not under the heading "I want to". Even the title "I wish" does not appear. The side of the page is empty, but if you use Internet Explorer all the links to there. Does anyone else have this problem, use the Chase Bank?

Found the cause of this problem, I had a program running called Ad Blocker. When I disabled this program, links have become visible. I'll use the other suggestions posted this message.

  • When searching the Web, I don't have an arrow towards the front or the back on my toolbar. As I understand it a friend, who also has Mozilla/firefox, has the same problem. He said that it is available on older versions?

I was wondering if I deleted Mozilla and download again, if it can clear my problem? or should I still the same problem? It is difficult for me to believe that your program would not have this feature.
what appears on my toolbar is
File... Edit... History... Bookmarks... Tools... Help
Search web search -Xfinity.com (this page)
Protect the Xfinity (search), IM, e-mail, voicemail, constant messaging, XF channels, videos, free games, weather

In fact, Firefox includes the buttons next and previous. Looks like you must turn on the Navigation bar. Select view-> toolbars-> Navigation toolbar.

  • on the home page, the symbol of firefox has disappeared and there is an ad for registry cleaner?

Yesterday, my homepage has changed - there is no normal firefox symbol with the little Fox hug th Earth. Just four color wheel, next to him "search results" then the field empty to enter in a search. Below that is an ad for a registry cleaner. It presents the new homepage of firefox?

Hello, this looks like a problem maybe caused by adware on your pc. Please go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

Remove a toolbar that has supported your Firefox or the homepage search
Fix Firefox problems caused by malicious software

afterwards please install the reset search addon - he'll come back more often customizations make these adware programs in default firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/

  • The other day that I upgraded to Mozilla Firefox, since then, when I save a Word document on my desktop, I get a strange looking icon instead of the 'normal' Word icon.

I'm sorry, I don't understand how to use this help page. I don't know what to do. I click on the question of the post and the issue is not validate. Please do your best, you can help me, thank you.

The icon appears to be just a preview of the content of the actual document? Office has a function to display thumbnails of the documents. You may have noticed in the dialog box save as that you can check a box to "save thumbnail".

In the research on this topic, I found a clear way to block those to display once they are in the document.
