MP4 file only play video of OBS?

I've been using first elements 12 for about 5-6 months now and I have not had any problem with it, I record video on my computer using OBS (Open Software of the broadcaster)

I also used OBS for like 3 months, and if you have used OBS until you know that it can take a bit of CPU if you don't have some settings are turned on that I didn't know existed at the time, so I looked for something that would use my CPU since I was something AMD finally found something, I recorded as a 22 minute video when I tried to implement the 12 elements of Adobe it would only show up as audio, even if is clearly a mp4, so I did some tests and turned the setting that would allow to my AMD card to work and did a test and recorded a short clip and it worked, even if they are two mp4, I asked on their forums and they said that it was with the editor, how do I fix?

Convert your OBS with HandBrake video to mp4 with framerate constant.

See how it will work

  • Toshiba Gigashot GSC - K40HE HD - playback of MP4 files

    Need help please.

I have a Toshiba Gigashot GSC-K40HE HD camera and have bought an Iomega screenplay Plus HD Media Player, essentially a hard disk of 1 TB with the ability to play MP4 files that the GSC-K40HE produced through the HDMI cable to my TV. (http://www.iomega.com/support/manuals/hdd2009/scrnplyplus/en/main.html)

The files have been tranfered successfully at the scenario of Media Player, checked through my cell phone, MP4 files will open correctly.

However when connecting the screenplay Plus HD Media Player to the TV with the HDMI cable, when you select MP4 files a message appears as "Unknown file" and not only will not open.

    My questions are:

    1. Why will not play MP4 files?
2 is there a different format they need to be saved in for them to play, if so what those
3 looking at files in camera HD of GSC-K40HE there is a simultaneous "THM" generated with the MP4 file when a video was taken, what is this and that affect playback via the screenplay multimedia drive?
4 someone know of a storage device similar to the scenario Media Plus I can just copy and store my videos, plug-and-play through my TV without the above events.

    Look forward to your responses.

    Thank you

    Hey Buddy,

If you can open the files saved on your laptop videos are ok and it s no video corrupted don't file, so in my opinion, the problem must be the external HARD disk where you store the videos.

Have you tried different videos not the camera? You should test it with other mp4 files and other types of files to ensure that the external HARD drive is working properly.

If it of necessary would directly contact Iomega. There may be an update of firmware for this media player or some settings you need to check these videos work.
I would also try another cable.

    Hello

To create an mp4 file you need conversion software. This migh have extra costs because it's not standard software.

You can see a comparison of software converter here:

    I hope this helps.

  • HP video does not run the .mp4 files

    Hello james11111,

Thank you for the information on your computer now that I see you run HP Media Smart on a computer or on the Smart Media connect I see that you mp4 files are currently not supported.

Current file formats that are supported are:

HP MediaSmart video supports the following formats:

    • .mpg and .mpeg (.mpeg-1 and .mpeg-2)
    • .dvr-ms (unprotected)
    • .wmv
    • . ASF
    • .AVI (DivX codecs and .mjpeg are supported only if the DivX software is installed on the computer.)

All information regarding if / when they supported cannot be resolved HP not to speculate or comment on unpublished information or the future of the products and their support.

In the meantime I would use another program to read mp4 files is a good program that I personally use VLC.

  • . Import MP4 files in first 12 as audio only

I've never had this problem before. Today when I tried to import some. MP4 files to the large external hard drive, where the video was recorded with a GoPro HERO3. Half of the records import in first 12 only audio and video is not displayed. It seems that files that have a. THM files which accompanied them. For some reason only half of the files on the seemed to have one. File THM that accompany them.  I have re-installed first, and that did not help.

In post 11, I indicated that I have had no problems to work on your GPO30006.mp4 in first 12 Windows elements. I thought it was the example of the file that would incorporate audio nothing for you in the first of 12 elements.  You have now said that this GPO30006.mp4 was one of the files without a problem. So, good news, we agree that it GPO30006.mp4 present in the first 12 items as a file supported video and audio.

Your GOPR0005.mp4 file that you confirm the problem (only audio import in first 12 items) file has now been considered.

    1. There is no problem it play in Windows Media Player or QuickTime Player. And I'm not picking up on any significant difference in the reading properties, MediaInfo or gspot programs, comparing it to GPO30006.mp4.

    2. but, I certify that your GOPR0005.mp4 audio import only in my first 12 on Windows 7 Professional SP2 64-bit elements.

In the first 12 items, after you import the file in the active project, I think I have picked up on the heart of the problem. I propose that it is probably creating the timecode in the camera or some unexplained glitch in the reading of the first elements 12 of time code of the file. See the screenshot below and notice the display of the time code below thumbnail of the assets of the project for

    a. GOPR0005.mpg4 (audio only)

    b. GRO30006.mpg4 (works)

    c. Handbrake converted 'a' (work) .mp4

My suggestion is to hold the hand brake GOPR0005.mp4, just go to the video tab and set to

    Video codec: H.264 (x 264)

    Rate: Same as Source

dot the constant for the Frame Rate

Then hit the start and monitor the queue completed in the progress bar at the bottom of the workspace of handbrake.

Please check this on a clip of problem with a duration of more than a second.

We will follow to your results.

    Thank you.

  • iPod Touch cannot play some mp4 files

I have some video captures for the House that my iTunes will transfer to my iPod Touch saying they cannot be played on this.  The videos play in iTunes, and I see nothing unusual in the file type.

An MP4 Player is simply a wrapper for video files. There are many variations in the video files that can be encapsulated in a mp4 file. iTunes can play more variations than the iPod.

I recommend using the hand brake computer free app to convert the file

    https://handbrake.fr/

This app has preset for outings specifically compatible with the iPod
