• Having problems installing Visual Studio Windows 8 in 2012

  Hi, I'm just trying to install Visual Studio 8 on my computer Windows 8, and it does not go past the first step.

• Impossible to access Visual Studio and MTM and get errors in IE after updates

  I get a lot of unhandled exceptions after the recent microsoft security updates.

  (1) whenever I open internet Explorer, I get a message that the internet explore has stopped working. I click on debug and it tells me there is that an unhandled win32 exception occurred in iexplorer.exe [6028]. Note: the code [x] continues to change and does not remain @ [6028]. A different code everytime I open. (another pop up im getting is "to help protect your computer, data execution prevention has closed IE.")

  (2) I am able to connect to my TFS via VSTS and MTM. My VPN is connected correctly. I have ping Web sites and they are running.

  Note: I did a restore of the system several times and my computer works very well after the system restore. Once install updates for windows, my computer starts again give me the above questions, then I know it's something to do with the windows updates.

  Any thoughts? These updates are updates of security, so I don't want neglecting them to do a system restore, but all reported these bugs again so a patch can be sent?

  Thanks for the reply Aziz. I ended up remove the internet Explorer and reinstall the inside and the problem disappeared. I appreciate your time and use your troubleshooting techniques so that I will again meet this issue.

  Visual Studio 2010 support added in NOR-DAQmx 9.2.3, so I expect to install a copy of the API reference that works with VS2010. However, to develop programs DAQmx with VS2010, so perhaps you need to one of the workarounds described in this thread: VS2010 crashes with BSOD when target framework changes

  I had developed a program in Visual Studio 2005 (VB) and it worked fine under XP. The same program displays error when installed on Windows 7. I changed the Advanced Options of compilation to x 86.
  Can someone shed light on this?

  System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException: Could not find file 'C:\Windows\system32\evqed.mdb '.
  In my program the database file "evqed.mdb" is placed in the folder of the application with the following code
  ctrdirPath = System.IO.Directory.GetCurrentDirectory

  ctrdirPath = ctrdirPath & "\evqed.mdb".
  This works very well in my development PC and is installed and works just as well. In the other PC, I get this error.

  I'm a developer using Visual Studio 2012... I create my project... then try to compile and I get an error of access security... I can run this program when I run "Run As Administrator" but I think it's crazy... This is my personal machine (not connected to a network) and I want to open the whole thing... other works... I want someone that connects (me... who has set up with administrator privledges) to gain access to the absolutely anything on the computer.

  I am running Windows 7 Professional - 64-bit. I installed, then got the result above, then uninstalled and then turn off the entire computer.   Are you using a 3^rd party antivirus application on your computer?

  Error 651 indicates the Modem (or another connection device) has reported an error. Refer to these steps in the order in which they are presented, and check.

  • Reset the TCP/IP settings.
  • If you are using a portable computer, make sure that the wireless switch or button is turned on.
  • Replace the RAS PPPoE driver:
    1. Open an administrator command prompt.
    2. Select all the code below, then right-click and click on copy:
    3. TAKEOWN /F "" C:\Windows\system32\drivers\raspppoe.sys".
       ICACLS "C:\Windows\system32\drivers\raspppoe.sys" / grant administrators: F
    4. Right click in the command prompt window, and then click on paste.
    5. Press ENTER.
    6. Once it is finished, close the command prompt.
    7. Go to the following folder:
       C:\Windows\System32\Drivers
    8. Rename the raspppoe.sys raspppoe2.sys
    9. Right-click on the following file and click on save target as / Save link as: old
       RAS PPPoE Driver.
    10. Save it in the folder C:\Windows\system32\drivers.
    11. Restart the computer.
  • If you use a Modem, get the latest driver.
  • Reset your router.
  • Re-install your network card drivers.

  I suggest that power you cycling your Modem and router might solve the problem, here are the steps:

  1 save all your current work, close all open applications, then shut down your computer. Wait a minute.
  2. Firstly, turn off your router and wait a few minutes.
  3. turn off your modem.
  4. disconnect all the Ethernet cables are connected to the router and the modem and the PC.
  5. reconnect them and ensure that there is no connection drop between them.
  6. now, turn on your PC and let it boot.
  7. turn on the modem first and once it is initialized, switch on the router.

  Already running 32-bit application? Have you changed references to the 64-bit version?

  You use Measurement Studio? If so some features are not supported with 64 bit.

  Hello. I wanted to run Visual Studio 2010 Express edition on my Vista Home Premium, but ran into way too many problems. First of all, download have not installed because of a problem with the installation of .NET framework v4.0. Then I tried to VS 2008, but has encountered the same problem with the .NET framework. Whenever I try to run Windows update, it displays error Code 80096001 and said "Windows could not check for new updates. I tried, but the list is completely empty, it shows nothing at all. I downloaded the vista sp1, but it too installation stops with error code 0 x 80096001.
  I tried to disable my anti-virus (avg free). Windows Defender does not initially upward or through subsequent attempts to run it. It shows the same error code. Please advise on how I can solve these problems and use Visual Studio... it's very frustrating because I never had these problems with XP... everything worked.
