• from bad to worse - security issues

  Has disappeared about a week after having tried to fix iTunes or when I got the new Adobe. Cannot install or uninstall SE - says it is on an unavailable network resource - I don't have a network configuration. So I thought I'd get Defender to have at least some protection, but it will not let me install: says remove customer protection... have no idea what they are talking... I see now that the Defender is less valuable than SE - but heck, I need protection for my system. How can I get Defender installed?

  I don't know what you mean by SE.  If you mean Microsoft Security Essentials, I recommend posting your question in the Microsoft Security Essentials: getting started and upgrading forum.

• Scam phone virus

  The scam reported in the 2012 forum is still ongoing. I get 4-5 a week phone calls telling me to go to the event viewer and look at things, and then type a random URL in my box of Run. The first time I started to follow their directions, and, noting that it was a scam, I reset my computer. But it has happened since then.

  In addition to my name, number, personal information, Dell serial number, express service code, and date of purchase, this guy could tell me as MY HISTORY of COMPLAINT. He could tell me the questions I had when I had specifically called Dell in the past.

  This is ridiculous. The calls come from lots of different numbers to all sites. Worse still, they often come now a hidden private number!

  I was already too disappointed by the Dell customer service as they failed to repeatedly fix the problem of my computer, and then for the last 9 months I have received these scam calls.

  Needless to say, I don't see purchases from Dell in my future. In fact, I enjoy to tell every person I can how horrible my experience was.

• Calling from crook

  I got a call from 011 800 4250272 claiming to be calling dell. I knew immediately it was a crook.  This person called my cell phone and had all the information on my laptop. I want to know if dell sells your information or dell had a hack and someone stole private information?

  1. have you installed Microsoft Security Essentials on the computer?

  2. do you have anti-virus software installed on the computer?

  If you have installed Microsoft Security Essentials, it has its own antimalware feature. You don't need or want to install Windows Defender, too. Leave MS Security Essentials installed and do not turn it off.

  Check if that helps.

• Windows 7 Internet Explorer 11 Tracking Protection; Custom list parameters

  Here's a question that the gurus of HP may be able to solve.

  In Windows 7, Internet Explorer 11, the custom under protection of follow-up list blocks the browser when the 'settings' link is selected.

  I understand that you are experiencing the tracking protection with IE 11 crash. I don't know if you've tried this thread and yet there will deliver that to some people and I think you should look at and see if it can help you as well. The link is to a Microsoft Community thread: Tracking Your Personalized list of Protection blocks IE10. Although the solution is I believe IE 10 that the solution works as well for IE 11.

  I have a project that uses Ant bb tools and custom build script. Problem is that I found havn't solution how to specify for what classes and packages *. KEY file is applied. In projects created by using eclipse plugin is BlackBerry_App_Descriptor.xml containing ProtectInfo tag after selecting packages/classes in package-class Protection file editor. Building using plugin Cap reads the security descriptor information and adds it to CSL. File CSI. I do not use BlackBerry_App_Descriptor.xml in my project and then it raises the question - how store and pass information to the tool of signed on for that brother. COD to ask my own signing authority signature?

  Thank you for your response.  Even if I know how to change on a device that provides the option, or CP is not forced, I ask if there is a specific setting on a BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) that could be changed in the policy so that it does not the media in CP policy.

  I've added a few pages of *.jspx to the custom-dev-starter pack. It seems that all the pages can be reached who without credentials - which translates again as components that is personalised, that can be referenced without having to provide credentials of the IOM, on any level.

  Example:

  Is there a way to protect resources somehow? We have not installed OIA, use the product is not an option. It would be nice to be sent to the login screen related to the context of identity.

  Thank you! I was just trying to find the network on the PC I used to put in place. It was not showing on my PC, but I tried my iphone and it is available here. Then, I followed the installation instructions and did the whole upward on my iphone (not on the PC as I originally did) and it worked. No problems!  Thank you!

  I reinstalled the .ovf file and monitored start the VM for the Protection of the data.  Normal Linux startup messages have no error.

  I get the same result with several browsers on multiple systems.  We have not changed the ports and there is no firewall in place of this network.

  My mistake.   In my haste, I entered the DNS of the VDP:9443 instead of the vCenter:9443.   Makes a world of difference when you breathe and read the instructions at a pace where you can understand what you read.
