  Okay, I think that I fixed it.  I went in the Sys Config, Start Up and unchecked "common SDK-Sonic Solutions/Roxio."  Also not controlled all the other stuff video I don't need at start-up. I then restarted it, of course.  It has been a few hours now and no window flashing.  Roxio is a nice program, but has been a problem on my computer. By auto-off starting this program, it seems to have solved the problem.

• WRT320N &amp; Intel 5100: get disconnected for 1-3 seconds

  Since I was my WRT320N everything works fine except I have a few intermittent (between every 5 minutes to 1 hour, usually once every 15 minutes) connection pauses, i.e. the transfer of data is paused for 1-3 seconds and will usually cause the streaming audio or video refresh.  I also noticed sometimes when this happens, as soon as the stream resumes the speed drop from 300 Mbps to 25/50ish.

  I have the latest drivers and firmware.

  I tried the following where nothing works:

  (1) using the 20 MHz channels

  (2) use fixed channels

  (3) disabling of bursting of the framework

  Any ideas?  Are all the other parameters that could help?

  I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your laptop HP 2000 and the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Service is not running. Click the windows services key type.

  Verify your Intel Rapid Storage Technology Service is not on the manual and the service has been started. The service should be automatic and started. Once these settings are correct, restart the laptop.

  You can do a System Restore. System Restore will help if something is automatically updated and wasn't on the laptop.

  When running a system restore note remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices because they can cause problems.
