  It s works perfectly!

  But my software does not load automatically. I disabled in the msconfig.
  Software doesn't need to be loaded automatically in order to get it in MSM or Skype.
  So I recommend to disable auto-start.

• Messenger does not not with Vista

  I bought this PC with Windows Vista about 10 months ago and have not been able to work properly at all. I can connect with MSN messenger for a brief moment and then stops, kicking me off or something. It can send some and receive some before he decides to evict me. The same way with Yahoo, it shows me online and offline, and I get all my im. I also can't veiw videos or listen to music, do not know if this has something to do with it, but it does the same thing, start for a few seconds, then stops. I had XP before and you will never have this problem.

• Windows Live Messenger does not work on my HP Touchsmart Windows 7 computer

  I can't get windows live messenger to work on my new computer windows 7 HP touchsmart.  I only use msn before that.  When troubleshooting it says to check my proxy settings in messenger options.  Well, there is no 'options' tab to select, then no idea even where to choose from.  I tried to go to "start," "programs" then windows live messenger, but it doesn't open the sign in page - no option at all, even if the right click.

  Very frustrating to say the least.  I can not even find where to go to the microsoft Web page to ask for help to fix this problem.

  I even turned off my firewall setting and that did not help.  When I checked my firewall, it says windows live Messenger had permission - so I don't think it's that.

  I am considering removing the Messenger program just as he ceases to appear to connect but it does not work!
