• Custom properties of the Group business lost in the plan strategic multi-machine

  I have several custom properties that are defined in my business groups. When I deploy a single machine model these properties are passed in orchestrator where I use them. However, when I add the same plans in a multi machine model, the properties defined in the Group of companies are gone. Everyone knows this or know why these properties would not follow the request in a multi machine scenario?

  OK, I finally found the answer courtesy of Automation vRA (vCAC) using vRO - Split Brain :

  «Each element of the catalog has an attribute of providerBinding.» This package contains the bindingId value. This link ID is the ID of the master plan (virtualMachineTemplateID) of the part of IaaS. That's how vRA figures on what course of action to deploy when you request a catalogue point. »

  So, given an vCACCAFECatalogItem object, I can get the ID of associated like this blueprint:

  My requirement is to change an application of single currency PSPB in multi-currency application. I know that this approach is pretty weird but wanted to know if we can do this by changing the backend schema tables. Please suggest on the same as soon as POSSIBLE.

  If you need to make a multi-currecny application and use the same convention of naming (i.e. TSTPLAN)

  1. I mean perform a LCM full backup.
  2. create the new application using the same data source for the original TSTPLAN connection.
  3. Create the database if planning push to essbase
  4. LCM import the dimensionality of your TSTPLAN (don't do anything but the dimensions).
  5. Once you have all dimensions in and it ends with SSP without any problem do the other artifacts planning (web forms, calc scripts, etc..)
  6. now perform a full refresh of db.

     If everything is done successfully, you should have the OLD application as the NEW application with multiple currencies. You may need to adjust web forms, reports, and other artifacts to call the extra dimensions. Unless u don't multi-currency via custom dimensionality.

• Rendering Adobe after effects CC 2014 multi-machine creates no fiber recycled after Collect-file

  He worked in the previous version.  After going through all the steps to do a rendering of several computers, not only does say it is limited to 5 machines instead of the usual 99 (and I have over 100 cores on the render farm) but "Collect files" (file/dependencies/Collect) does not create the file controls Render (CCR) that begins the process on other machines as he has done before and is supposed to do.

  This version was supposed to fix the limitation of 32 base on rendering nodes (my server has 48), but now does nothing.

  In any case, I suppose there is a checkbox somewhere that says "do something" that has not been verified, and the other who said: "Maybe my machine has more than 5 nuclei", and I would appreciate being steered in the wrong direction of these new features.

  Just like the background, 48 database server shows the small TV screen watching the record shows, and I know for a fact that the process of research the file "FRC".  Looking at the specified directory "fresh files transferred", I see no RCF file is created, only 1 file, a report.txt file that contains this information is produced:

• AE CC multi-machine Rendering: always ask Adobe ID to make the launch of the App engine

  I'm sure this is a fairly simple solution, but I watched for awhile through blogs and AE documentation and I just can't get it figured out.

  I'm trying to set up my first render farm several computers with AE CC. All the render farm machines are equipped with Windows 7 and are networked via the Gigabit Ethernet Switch. I understand that I can get CC installed on 2 computers with my membership and then I can install a number of instances Render only on EI. The problem is I'm trying to set up one of my 3 machines in rendering only, but I wonder still connect with my Adobe ID when I launch the App renderer. I can't sign in a third time, or he'll ask me if I want to disconnect all other computers that are registered under my name. I've attached screenshots of what it shows.

  

  I've already put the ae_render_only_node.txt file in the correct place according to the Adobe documentation (C:\Users\ < myusername > \My Documents)

  

  Any thoughts? I guess I'm doing something stupid, but I can not simply identify it.

  One thing to check: in Windows Explorer, go to the Tools menu > Folder Options. Disable "Hide extensions of known file types". Having, is the file named "ae_render_only_node.txt" yet, or is it an extra .txt at the end?

  If this is not the case, what happens if you move the file to the location of replacement? C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Adobe

• The company Adobe CC - licenses multi-machine

  Scenario:

  We have a team member who has CC installed locally on his machine but the work from home from time to time on his personal aircraft. In view of the license agreement, we can install CC and put his name on LWS, so that he can get the updates.

  He should leave then job, we could disable the account of the limited WARRANTY statement, but I think that the software will continue to function normally.

  Question:

  In light of the above, how do disable us a remote license if we do not have access to it?

  As you are a creative cloud for Enterprise use then deactivation is not possible, because it's a basic serial product. To remove access, you can withdraw LWS, but the software will continue to work until the term license is active and the only way is to uninstall the software.

• vCAC custom property for MultiMachine Blueprint?

  Hi, I have a multi machine plan that works well. He created machines on different sites and then passes custom vCO properties to perform some customizations via PowerShell scripts.

  I can't seem to find the built-in property (I'm sure there is one) to name the MultiMachine himself well service. I have a prefix of machine here at the present time that works very well, and I'm sure I can combine one of the properties that is customized to that service name?

  Any help would be appreciated as always.

  It turns out that 'hostname' is a valid property for the service name in a map of several computers. The trickiest part is that this property must be different on the machines of its components, so it took a little more config.

  I installed the vCAC Custom Hostnaming expansion of Dailyhypervisor.com. It provides the property sets to create relevant profiles build. I created a profile of build to help the "'Custom.Common.ComponentMachine.HostnameString ' for the VMS in the service component multiple computers." I also created a profile to build with the help of the "'Custom.Common.AppService.HostnameString ' for multi-machine service itself." (you must have ""Custom.Common.SetCustomHostname.Execute "also on both"). You can change the configuration of these properties to what you need on any level a entry. In my case, I have a custom property call "appName" I need the Convention of naming, so I changed customhostname to {appName} {#} property for the service. He will appoint the service based on the guest user "appName" and also add a number incremented by 2 numbers to keep the unique service name. I did similar for component machines to keep them unique. In my case, a number of my properties is then passed to PowerShell vRO and then in order for me to call external scripts for more customizations, complex sounds and it took a while, but it works well!

  We impelemented Bi apps 7.9.6.4 plan for the extraction of data for our applications bi multi-source.

  We have 3 R12.1.3 EBS in 3 different countries. Now we intend to extract all the financial data of all three identical bodies.

  We have therefore two concerns.

  1st - is BI APPS 7.9.6.4 supports identical 3 to EBS R12.1.3 to extract data into a single data warehouse (all the three oracle ebs relase are same EBS R12.1.3)?

  2 - If Yes, what would be as high level steps:

  Have we not create unique execution plan to extract all instances or did we create the implementation plan include one?

  Do we not have to create multiple containers in DAC for three instances or unique container will work?

  The Single against Multi execution plan depends on your needs. You attempt to load all 3 areas at the same time?  Or you want to load each at specific times according to the time zone and when the source of the ERP is out of hours (you don't want load from any system when there is an important activity OLTP).  According to this, you can create a single or multiple EPs.  Make sure that you do NOT overwrite the data of a consistent size or the fact of a previous EP if you decide to do several EPs.  It may be easier just to make a single EP because dates updated DAC will ensure that you not have data load issues.  For example, make sure that your only PE you will have a single charge SIL SDE THREE loads to the staging... etc.

  With respect to containers, because you have the same version of EBS, you can use a single container.  You should do your own container based on the VANILLA ones.

  I worked on a project of automation of the vra. In Orchestrator I have access to all the information for a particular component VM (for example, vCACVm, vCenterVm, virtualmachineEntity, vCACHost, vCACVmProperties objects) in the multi machine environment. But I have no information for the parent appservice (usually there will be a 'fake' vm as parent for multi machine environment).  For example, if I need to know the virutalmachineID of this parent 'VM' how to do it through vCAC API? I checked around and out to the desperate. Someone from http://dailyhypervisor.com/vrealize-automation-vcac-6-1-building-vco-workflows-for-multi-machine-blueprints/ says vCACEntity.getlink (vCACHost, "ChildVirutalMachines"), which seems the only link between parents and children vms. I certainly know that there should be an easy way to connect the machine virtual parent/child and go to the other, but how?

  Concession of thank you for your response. It is the most common way that we tried. However, all properties we don't see anything pointing to the parent app "appservice' of a vm component. Last night I thought I found the answer. A property is shared between 'parent' and 'children': provisioningGroupID; It turns out that the name confusion is actually for "business group" for all the virtual machines belong to this group of companies will have the same value, not only the family of multi machine.

• Tokens signature and debug with multiple machines

  There has been various issues and discussions on the backup for signing keys.  This thread says you can save your P12, CSK and DB files and then use them on another computer if your original dev machine never dies.  But I'm confused about how actually to 'install' these files to a new machine (with Flash Builder).  Does anyone have this done successfully?

  I have a second machine where I'm trying to restore my certificates saved (as a test).  I pulled FB on my P12 file, but I don't see anywhere to point to my a CSK or DB files.  The 'power of signature of register with RIM' command looks like that it just creates a new CSK, which broke app update.

  Registration also requires a file of the LSB, and those who are not supposed to be reusable.  The only way I know to get another file CSJ is to complete the shape of the RIM to request a whole new signing key.  But still, I don't want a new key signature...  I also wonder if it would be 'disable' the possibility of signing of my original machine - that is to say, each provider may have only one machine registered for signature at a time?

  A related question: has any who successfully put in place several machines dev (do not sign machines) with chips of work debugging?  FB doesn't let me create a debugging token until it is registered with signing authority, which once again the SJC prescription problem I mentioned above.  And it wont let me point to an existing BAR token I created on a different machine - even if the RIM docs say "you can distribute the debugging tokens you create for developers."

  So, anyone who has ha the chance with this kind of dev multi-machine configurations?  Details on how to do it?

  There was a problem with the BlackBerry Tablet SDK where the debugging token button import has been disabled until you have saved the code signing key.  This problem has been fixed in the latest version.  You can now import a token of debugging without keys of your choice.

  • To recover a virtual machine that is managed by MRS. all you need is to get a full vsphere to your DR site that has the plugin SRM installed before you can retrieve customer.

  My question:

  Suffice it to say at an event of DR MRS on the DR site was dismantled (so I couldn't recover virtual machines managed by SRM) but I can connect to the Web from vSphere client and retrieve virtual machine managed by VR, is it possible to manually change the virtual machines managed by SRM, so they are managed by new RV?

• After effects CC output Modules to render only Machines

  Hi there, I have a problem with the custom output Module Templates and my cluster:

  After Effects CC 12.0.0.404 (also showing up-to-date cloud Creative)

  Mac OS X 10.8.4 (Mountain Lion last version)

  Mac Pro 2.93 GHz, Radeon 5870 8-Core, 32 GB RAM and with Blackmagic Decklink Extreme 3D +.

  Remote Machines (there are four) are Mac Pros (Quad-core, running 10.7.2 with 16 GB of RAM), by using the ae_render_only_node.txt file in their folder of user Documents.

  The exact error:

  aerender ERROR: no output to the name module model were found.

  I try to get a cluster working with After Effects CC (see exact version above). Unfortunately, I need custom output modules, and I can't seem to get the slaves made to recognize. I found older sons on this particular issue, but no solution has been found.

  I use commandline aerender in OS X terminal to start a render with a basic test scene.

  To simplify things, I tried to test this on a single machine, rendering both slave... Same result everywhere.

  Here is what I tried:

  I have exported a file of .aom of my main machine (where I have my desired custom output Modules) and attempted to bring on the slaves of rendering. However, because the slaves of rendering are return only, (they ae_render_only_node.txt in their Documents folder), the ability to import Modules output is disabled in After Effects (it opens as the rendering engine of the effects after and modify > Templates menu is grayed out).

  Then, I thought I would try to copy the main machine (user) /Users/ / Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/12.0 folder to render slaves, thinking that would get any other file in preference to them to define the output modules. No luck. Launched After Effects (which loads as renderer after effects) and reset my preferences to disk cache (so they were not always of the main machine). Tried again aerender... no luck. Same error:

  aerender ERROR: no output to the name module model were found.

  After that, I thought it would be a good idea to log out of Adobe Creative cloud on the main machine and try connecting the machine slave made with my UserID and password and temporarily remove the ae_render_only_node.txt file. Then I would import the .aom file in the full version of the AE... I tried this and success! The work of renders... they find the output without problem Modules. Only it is, as soon as I log out and switch between using the ae_render_only_node.txt file, the output Modules are not found. Don't know what's going on--if the output Modules are currently disabled by the ae_render_only_node.txt file? Or maybe signature out of my Adobe ID is to remove preferences that determine the output Modules? Don't know where the output Module preferences are stored to be able to tell.

  Next attempt: I thought that I would try my preferences with creative cloud sync. I made sure to check synchronization preferences after effects to ensure that the output Modules are configured to synchronize. I did a sync where I transferred my preferences of the main machine. Then, on the slaves of rendering, I ran synchronization preferences and chose to download preferences. Works when connected, but not when it is used as a single render node. When it comes to a single node returned, he even invites me to download synchronization preferences and exit the Application, which I do, but nothing seems to happen. I retry aerender and still the same error:

  aerender ERROR: no output to the name module model were found.

  I can't seem to find any info on where the output Modules are actually stored (apparently they are not anywhere in the user/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects / folder?). Visited only nodes not allowed to have custom output Modules? Not even for something as simple as the multi-machine with an action sequence post-render set enabled Proxy?
