When I go to the Overlay creator to see a preview of the page in the Adobe, the text on the slide show content viewer disappears. Why is this happening?

  Guessing from your description, the text should be part of the first State of the ASM, and it isn't. You can add it to the first State via the MSO Panel.

• Multi-state object does not work in the Office Viewer

  I have problems with a slideshow of image (multi-state object) in a manufactured magazine Adobe DPS.

  When looked at on ipad or android, everything works perfectly. But this does not at all on the Viewer from the office.

  is this a known bug?

  Myra,

  Office Viewer is old and it is really useful only for the most basic content preview. We have not updated the Viewer from office more than three years. I suggest to use the iPad or Android directly devices to get an overview of your work.

  Currently, there is no ability to add some text frames a MSO to an InCopy assignment. There is limited support for this workflow to modify when you use solutions such as K4 or WoodWing.   Does anyone know if there is a way to identify the State of a multi-state object is selected?

  You can select different States of an object of several State in the States Panel.

  In the object model.

  .. .all the first State to the DSO. But I can't understand how to identify the State in which is currently visible. This doesn't seem to be possible in the object model, unless I'm missing something. Any ideas?

  When buttons, that departure/return animations, convert into multi-state objects, buttons to lose functionality and I can't have their target in the menu animation.

• Insertion of a button to close a multi state object

  Hi all

  Have worked for centuries trying to close a State multi, joyless object to a button.

  This is the process I followed, which I was hoping the consequences.

  I have create a block of text, which is then cut and copied into a broader framework. This image is then set to "worthy framework to content.

  This framework is also defined as a block of text scollable (Auto Detect, Hide bar, position to use the Document).

  This frame is then copied with the narrow graphic and I chose the 'convert selection to a multi-state object. I have ensured that graphic close don't overlay not the text box.

  State 2 then then made transparent and subject to State multi is set to "hidden so that triggered".

  I double clicked on the close image within the Group and converted into a button. The button is then attributed to go to State 2.

  Finally I fund a graph that is converted to a button that opens the 1 State of the multi state object.

  But it does not work. There seems to be a copy of the State multi object generated during the above process and this ensures that the State multi object does not disappear when you click the close button.

  I tried all kinds of ways to make this work, but without success.

  Makes me mad and would appreciate really no work about being posted here.

  What text? The button?

  If so, don't convert it to a button. The buttons are still pixelated. Instead

  just leave as native work and draw a no fill/no frame run above it

  and convert that to a button.

  Do not put this code on your button.  Put it in the script that contains the button with an instance name of 'nxt' - you can create a layer specifically for actionscript and place it so that it is easy to find.  If you correctly a lowercase 'a' should appear in the timeline where you place.  I ideally function newthumb() should also be in the same context of chronology.

  In AS2 you can put the code on the objects, but it is written differently.  It is considered bad practice, however, because it makes the code more difficult to find and can confuse things targeting properly.

  The code that show you is the version of the timeline which is better.

  Why do you use the v11 tools? MSOs have worked since the v1. If by Swipe Horizontal, you mean by Horizontal scanning only, Yes, it worked, but I think it was called "Flat battery" at the time of content Bundler.
