  I can't install the file that comes from the download link.

  Instead I had to install the Enterprise version. This fixed my issue. I bookmarked this site, next time there is an update I'll link again.

  I have firefox.

  I suggest you to check with Adobe on this point, its something specific request.

  I suspect the version of the driver, you are using a Laserjet P4014/n/dn / P4015 / n / dn / tn / x / or P4515n / tn / x / xm printer. These printers are all sales representatives.

  I had problems with Flash Player earlier today and decided to uninstall it (from Windows 7) and reinstall from scratch.  I uninstalled and tried to reinstall it but now I get the following message appears: cannot install Flash Player as "only one version of this application can run" I tried to uninstall I checked to see if there was still a program to install but it does not exist. I checked my files in Windows and there are several files called Install_Flashplayer _16x32... files. I assume that they are created whenever I tried to install Flash Player.  I thought to delete many files install FlashPlayer but decided to ask for help before taking this step.

  Browser: Firefox 35.0.1

  Windows 7 Home Premium

  64 bit OS

  I managed to install Flash Player and it works. I deleted all the installation files except one who did not want to be deleted, then I started to install Flash Player, until I got the message about the conflicting demands. I then used the Ctrl + Alt + Delete to open the Task Manager, then closed all tasks except the Flash Player one. Flash Player finished the installation. Then, I opened a TV Player in Firefox and was able to play a program that requires a Flash Player.

  Why don't I have to use the Task Manager to close applications. I don't remember the last time that I used it ut think that it was a year ago, when my computer would not shut.

  I had to uninstall Adobe Reader a few months back and since then have been unable to reinstall. I get through the first couple download and click Yes to 'allow the following program to make changes to this computer', but then everything closes its doors, and sometimes I have the box "that only one instance of this application can launch" pop up.   If you're running Windows (which we don't know), you can try to use this tool first remove all traces of your computer:

• apex 5.0 applications can run on a system of runtime only apex 4.2?

  We are starting a conversion from apex 4.2.5 apex 5.0.  our environment is as follows:

  • a development system, where programmers make their application development.  It is the installation of apex only full that we have.
  • a control system which is running only, where our QA testers do their thing.
  • a production system, which is running only.

  trying to figure out the sequence to follow to upgrade which of these systems...

  If we improve our system of development first, we would have to institute a freeze on deployment while we test regression and others.  and there was no means of production of patch in an application bug, unless we can export/import a 5.0 app on a length of 4.2.

  I think it's maybe a better approach for:

  1. set up a parallel development system that runs on 5.0 so developers can make regression tests and such to see if they have to make changes to work on 5.0.
  2. Let developers use the development 4.2 existing and the test platform for the manufacture of production emergency fixes (knowing they will have to make the same change in the system 5.0 as well)
  3. Let new developments and improvements to be deployed production post - 5.0 5.0 system.
  4. If all applications must change in conjunction with 5.0, they will be exported and waiting for production deployment.
  5. convert production to 5.0 and import some apps 5.0 - changed must deploy.
  6. 5.0 system development would become the development environment "fix production" temporarily.
  7. then convert the original system of development and execution of test only to 5.0 and 5.0 development import/export system applications and losing the 5.0 system development.

  thoughts?  is there an easier way to do this?

  Our design for a new version of the APEX aims to be as much as possible backward compatible. That's why I suggest a different approach. For example, the Oracle hosting internal environment that contains thousands of workspaces has been upgraded to 5.0 with the following approach.

  1. Cloned Production and created a system UAT (test) and upgraded to 5.0
  2. Verified users/testers that applications are still functional in 5.0
  3. In case of problem, developers fixed the problem on the 4.2 development and deployment instance updating applications to the UAT 5.0 system to continue his tests.
  4. These changes to the app has also deployed on the production (after testing) system
  5. Following the tests, production had started with APEX 5.0

  I believe that any bug found in the 5.0 environment could be solved in the 4.2 version of the app, because it is normally a problem JavaScript or CSS or some use undocumented features.
