Multiple screens overview

Hello

Is it possible to add several summary screens in a project of OPA?

I could see that there is possibility to add new summary screens in the file of the screens, but it does not appear in an interview, I am able to add to a

the screen flow. Please advise on how to implement these summaries of multiple screens.

Yes, but normally, you would use only a single summary screen within a project. See the help topic "change how data summarized and reviewed interview" (OTN: http://download.oracle.com/docs/html/E24270_01/Content/Interviews%20and%20flows/Change_how_interview_data_is_summ_and_rev.htm).

A summary screen appears so much to initiate an interview as well as the determination of display. Summary screens are not added to a stream of the screen. A stream of screen is added to a summary screen (i.e. to pursue a specific goal when several objectives are available on the single summary screen).

    OS X 10.11.3 (15 D 21)

I have two monitors connected to my rMBP with Thunderbolt ports.

To facilitate the description, I want hereby the two views under A and b.

Assuming an application (for example, chrome, finder) window was launched in A display. So I want to open another window display B. I right click the icon in the Dock on display B and click on 'new window '.

What I expected, it's a new window opens in view B because I clicked on 'new window' display B, but the reality is a new window always opens in display has.

On the other side, the same operation between different spaces (desktops) has no such situation. New windows are open correctly in places where they are "printing".

Is there a bug in 'new window' between multiple screens?

    Hello is.

I understand that you are wanting to open new windows of applications on the screen that you are working on. It is perhaps because of the way in which several screens are managed. Revisit some information to get this working for you.

When you open a new window of an application, it will open in the active view. Even if you have the dock on the other screen, look at your taskbar to see if it is translucent. If this is the case, then it is not your main screen and your applications will be opened on the main screen. See the image below for what I will speak about reference.

Take a look at the article below for more information on the use of several screens. I know the article refers to the Mavericks, but the information extends to OS X El Capitan as features are concerned.

  • multiple screen problem

HI there I have a problem with the multiple screen option. I have two screens of my standard graphics card work, but my computer is only noticed 1 screen. This means that I can't continue with the set to the top of the screen of the second.

Please help as its really get my goat :)

    Thank you

    Hello

    Thanks for the reply.

    Perform these steps and check:

    Set up multiple monitors

When you connect an additional monitor to your laptop, Windows automatically detects the monitor and displays your computer's desktop. You can then choose how you want your desktop to appear and customize the display settings, such as the color depth and screen resolution.

    1. Manually connect the laptop monitor to your PC.

If Windows can't identify the monitor, open the new display detected using one of the following methods:

      • Press the keyboard shortcut that turns on an additional display.

The FN + F5 keyboard shortcut is used for this purpose on many laptops. To determine what keyboard shortcut turns on another view, see the documentation that came with your mobile PC or go to the manufacturer's Web site.

      • Open by clicking Windows Mobility Center start , clicking Control Panel, clicking Mobile PC and then click Windows Mobility Center.

Then, on the external display tile, click Connect display.

      Note

      • Windows Mobility Center is available only on laptops.

    2. Detected display, select one of the following display options in the new dialog box and then click OK.

      • In the opposite direction.  Mirrors, or duplicate your desktop on each display that you connect. In the opposite direction is the default display option. This option is useful if you plan to use your mobile PC to give a presentation on a projector or fixed a screen in a conference room, like a wall plasma display or TV-type monitor.

      • Extended. Extend your desktop on all the screens to which you are connecting. This option is useful if you want to increase your screen area.

      • External display only.  Display your desktop on each display that you you connect, but not on your mobile PC display. This option is useful if you are using a portable computer and you want to conserve battery power. You can also use this option when you play a DVD on a laptop that supports video playback in full screen on a single screen.

If Windows can't identify the monitor that you connect, it automatically applies the last display settings that you used for that type of monitor and asks if you want to keep the settings. Click OK to keep these settings.

If you click on cancel or do nothing, the display settings dialog box appears so that you can manually choose the display settings.

      Note

      • To select different display settings at any time, open display settings in Control Panel.

Open display settings by clicking on the button start , by clicking on Control Panel, appearance and personalization, on personalization, and then clicking display settings

    I hope this helps.

  • Use a BitmapField to multiple screens...

    his gift of illigalexception.

even I want to dynamically set images on a BitmapField() in a static way.

But his rising illigalexception in both cases.

You cannot add a field twice. is there a reason why you would want?
If you divide your level of data and user interface, you can load bitmaps into your class of data once and reuse it for each bitmapfield you create.
or you can pass multiple screens using several officials, with a fixed part of the screen remains the same.

  • How do I know if my computer supports multiple screens or not?

How do I know if my computer supports multiple screens or not?

Most of PC graphics cards can run two monitors.
There should be settings in the control panel for the card - for ATI CCC
and the Nvidia for Nvidia Control Panel.
You can also check with the mfg of your PC or the mfg of your graphics card
For more information related to your card or a particular machine.

ATI and Nvidia have the ability to run on two monitors with recent models and pilots.

  • Problem with multiple screens

I added a second monitor to my iMac. The iMac seems to have difficulties to recognize the second monitor when it comes out of power saving mode. Sometimes I have to restart the computer one or more times before the second screen begins to receive the signal.

I use a cable thunderbolt and the second monitor is a BenQ GW2760HS

    Any suggestions?

Unless your external display is equipped Thunderbolt you probably have the wrong cable. Please use an adapter (VGA, HDMI, etc.) mini-Display in the Thunderbolt port on the computer and then connect the appropriate cable. • is it possible to send airtime on a mac mini and connect to multiple screens (5)?

Hello - I'm looking to see if it is possible to use Airplay to a Mac Mini and connect to five different views and see the same thought at the same time. I understand that each display would need its own apple tv, but I don't know if it's strictly a ratio of one to one, or it would be better to run the HDMI from the mini and feed a splitter HDMI and wire them hard. I want to run a video loop of an IPAD for the mini and the mini to distribute video on screens. Thank you.

No, this is not possible with Apple TV.

  • IMAQ WindDraw does not work with multiple screens

I am developing an application using drivers IMAQ which displays fullscreen image on a primary or secondary monitor.  It works very well in mode full screen on the main window, but when I put the window on the secondary window, is not up-to-date.  As an additional test, when I put half of the window on the screen 1 and the other half on the other, the part that is on the main display updates is not the case of the part that is on the secondary display.

How to make it work with the secondary monitor?

(I've included an example VI to demonstrate the problem).

    Thank you

    Bruce

I don't know how it happened, but when I completely closed LabVIEW and rebooted, then just run the VI it works now!

It has been a strange behavior, if I see it again once I'll let you know.

I am deploying Win7 for my company and employees have different screen resolutions. I would like to ask a standard corporate desktop background on the desktop of every user. This includes a logo and some text in the lower quadrant of the right hand of the office.

Ideally, I would like to "anchor" the image so that the logo and the text always appears in the correct r/h lower position without deforming the logo and text. The rest of the image is of a solid background color and could be cropped.

Is it possible to do this in Win7 without having to create separate for each screen resolution images?
